Stvarni junaci što je u srijedu ugašen požar na gliseru u Dućama i što su spašene četiri djevojke koje su u trenutku izbijanja vatre bile na njemu su vatrogasac Duje Braičić (34) i Duje Bilanović (40), vlasnik kafića na obližnjoj plaži, obojica iz Duća.

Da ta dva imenjaka nisu bili prisebni, tko zna kako bi završila drama.

- To se sve odvijalo 50-60 metara od lučice u Dućama. Ja sam bio kod kuće i u jednom trenutku sam izišao na balkon i vidio kako na pučini gori gliser. Odmah sam “odletio” u garažu, uzeo motornu pumpu za vodu, spustio se na plažu i pohitao prema svom kaiću. Jedan gost iz Poljske mi je pomogao ukrcati pumpu na kaić i, budući da je i sam dobrovoljni vatrogasac u Poljskoj, otišao je sa mnom gasiti požar na gliseru - kazuje nam Braičić, koji je član DVD-a “Dalmacija” i zaposlenik JVP-a Split.

’Eksplodirao akumulator’

Činjenica da je Braičić u trenutku izbijanja požara na gliseru bio izvan službe još više daje na vrijednosti.

- To bi napravio svaki moj kolega vatrogasac, bio on u službi ili ne - skromno će Braičić.

Čim su došli na sigurnu udaljenost od glisera, počeli su s gašenjem.

- Na gliseru više nije bilo nikoga jer su djevojke skočile u more i udaljile se od buktinje. Mi smo bili u mom kaiću na sigurnoj udaljenosti jer nisam znao hoće li gliser eksplodirati. Kada smo ga ugasili, u gliseru je još gorio benzin. Tada sam skočio u more, doplivao do njega i privezao ga za svoj kaić i u teglju ga doveo do obale. Tamo su čekali pripadnici DVD-a Dugi Rat i Omiš i oni su ga tada u potpunosti ugasili - kazuje Braičić.

Iako su bile u šoku, djevojke koje su bile na gliseru pokušale su objasniti što se dogodilo.

- Kako su rekle, eksplodirao im je akumulator. Sva sreća da sam stalno oko brodova, doslovno radim pod morem, stalno servisiram i krpim brodove. Strah me i pomisliti što se moglo dogoditi da nismo reagirali tako brzo - kazuje Duje Braičić.

Uz njega se istaknuo i Duje Bilanović.

- Djevojke su išle u đir gliserom jer je jedna od njih položila za voditelja brodice. Čim su vidjele otvoreni plamen, skočile su u more. Brod je ostao plutati, a ja sam s jednim prijateljem otišao s dva jet-skija po njih. Ukrcali smo ih na jet-skije i odvezli na sigurno - kazuje Bilanović.

- Stranci u pravilu ništa ili vrlo malo znaju o moru, a vole uživati u njemu pa vrlo često ima problema i moramo ih spašavati. Ovo ljeto je jedan Poljak sa sinom otišao na sup dasci (daska na kojoj se stoji i vesla) i kako je zapuhao vjetar, “bacio” ih je na sredinu kanala. Budući da sin nije znao plivati, morali smo hitno po njih.

Nedavno je jedan gost, mađarski državljanin koji ima oko 180 kilograma, otišao na jet-skiju prema pučini i kako je upao u more više se nije mogao, zbog svoje težine, podignuti na jet-ski. Čovjek se pomirio sa sudbinom i već počeo tonuti. Otišli smo po njega i budući da ga nismo mogli popeti na jet-ski, vezali smo ga konopcem i podigli na moj gliser. Ima svega, ali na svu sreću uvijek sve sretno završi - zaključuje Duje Bilanović.

Stvarni junaci što je u srijedu ugašen požar na gliseru u Dućama i što su spašene četiri djevojke koje su u trenutku izbijanja vatre bile na njemu su vatrogasac Duje Braičić (34) i Duje Bilanović (40), vlasnik kafića na obližnjoj plaži, obojica iz Duća.

Da ta dva imenjaka nisu bili prisebni, tko zna kako bi završila drama.

- To se sve odvijalo 50-60 metara od lučice u Dućama. Ja sam bio kod kuće i u jednom trenutku sam izišao na balkon i vidio kako na pučini gori gliser. Odmah sam “odletio” u garažu, uzeo motornu pumpu za vodu, spustio se na plažu i pohitao prema svom kaiću. Jedan gost iz Poljske mi je pomogao ukrcati pumpu na kaić i, budući da je i sam dobrovoljni vatrogasac u Poljskoj, otišao je sa mnom gasiti požar na gliseru - kazuje nam Braičić, koji je član DVD-a “Dalmacija” i zaposlenik JVP-a Split.

’Eksplodirao akumulator’

Činjenica da je Braičić u trenutku izbijanja požara na gliseru bio izvan službe još više daje na vrijednosti.

- To bi napravio svaki moj kolega vatrogasac, bio on u službi ili ne - skromno će Braičić.

Čim su došli na sigurnu udaljenost od glisera, počeli su s gašenjem.

- Na gliseru više nije bilo nikoga jer su djevojke skočile u more i udaljile se od buktinje. Mi smo bili u mom kaiću na sigurnoj udaljenosti jer nisam znao hoće li gliser eksplodirati. Kada smo ga ugasili, u gliseru je još gorio benzin. Tada sam skočio u more, doplivao do njega i privezao ga za svoj kaić i u teglju ga doveo do obale. Tamo su čekali pripadnici DVD-a Dugi Rat i Omiš i oni su ga tada u potpunosti ugasili - kazuje Braičić.

Iako su bile u šoku, djevojke koje su bile na gliseru pokušale su objasniti što se dogodilo.

- Kako su rekle, eksplodirao im je akumulator. Sva sreća da sam stalno oko brodova, doslovno radim pod morem, stalno servisiram i krpim brodove. Strah me i pomisliti što se moglo dogoditi da nismo reagirali tako brzo - kazuje Duje Braičić.

Uz njega se istaknuo i Duje Bilanović.

- Djevojke su išle u đir gliserom jer je jedna od njih položila za voditelja brodice. Čim su vidjele otvoreni plamen, skočile su u more. Brod je ostao plutati, a ja sam s jednim prijateljem otišao s dva jet-skija po njih. Ukrcali smo ih na jet-skije i odvezli na sigurno - kazuje Bilanović.

Ovo spašavanje i nije prvo koje je Bilanović obavio ovo ljeto.

- Stranci u pravilu ništa ili vrlo malo znaju o moru, a vole uživati u njemu pa vrlo često ima problema i moramo ih spašavati. Ovo ljeto je jedan Poljak sa sinom otišao na sup dasci (daska na kojoj se stoji i vesla) i kako je zapuhao vjetar, “bacio” ih je na sredinu kanala. Budući da sin nije znao plivati, morali smo hitno po njih.

Nedavno je jedan gost, mađarski državljanin koji ima oko 180 kilograma, otišao na jet-skiju prema pučini i kako je upao u more više se nije mogao, zbog svoje težine, podignuti na jet-ski. Čovjek se pomirio sa sudbinom i već počeo tonuti. Otišli smo po njega i budući da ga nismo mogli popeti na jet-ski, vezali smo ga konopcem i podigli na moj gliser. Ima svega, ali na svu sreću uvijek sve sretno završi - zaključuje Duje Bilanović.
