Polovicom lipnja u Rijeci se već četvrt stoljeća održava "Fiumanka", jedriličarski događaj koji svake godine okupi brojne zaljubljenike u more i jedrenje, a unatrag tri godine pridružili su se i studenti, najavljuje Novi list.
Ove će godine Fiumanku će otvoriti međunarodna studentska regata europske mreže deset sveučilišta YUFE čije će posade zajedriti u Rijeci u četvrtak 6. lipnja, odmah nakon službenog otvorenja Fiumanke. Tijekom vikenda od 7. do 9. lipnja, održavat će se regate fakulteta riječkog Sveučilišta uz već tradicionalni Student Day Festival.
– Ovogodišnju Fiumanku otvorit će međunarodna regata mreže 10 europskih sveučilišta uz naše, riječko. Povezali smo radni dio i sastanke s početkom regate pa će naši europski partneri dobiti priliku zajedriti s nama na Fiumanki.
Upravo su jedrenje kao ekipni sport i YUFE Fiumanka izvrsna prilika za povezivanje, zabavu i stjecanje novih vještina. Nadamo se da će regata postati tradicija unutar YUFE mreže.
Na prvoj YUFE Fiumanki zajedrit će studenti iz Nizozemske, Španjolske, Belgije, Njemačke, Cipra, Finske, Ujedinjenog Kraljvstva Poljske, Francuske i Rijeke te posada Centralnog YUFE ureda – rekla je prorektorica za digitalizaciju i razvoj Sveučilišta u Rijeci Senka Mačešić.
Svaka od jedrilica u regati predstavljat će jedno od YUFE sveučilišta, a dolazi i 20 članova YUFE Student Foruma, koji će također imati svoju jedrilicu i na taj način sudjelovati u natjecanju.
Studentska Fiumanka pretvara se u tradicionalni događaj koji promiče duh riječke sveučilišne zajednice i predstavlja jedinstvenu mogućnost da studenti i zaposlenici Sveučilišta sudjeluju u timskom radu.
U trećem izdanju na regati će ponovno nastupiti maksimalan broj ekipa, njih čak 18.
Zahvaljujući Studentskom centru Sveučilišta u Rijeci i Hrvatskom akademskom sveučilišnom savezu te Pomorskom fakultetu u Rijeci, Studentska Fiumanka je po uzoru na veliku Fiumanku u potpunosti besplatna, čime se studentima omogućava stjecanje novih znanja i vještina te uživanje u aktivnostima na moru.
Osim na jedrenje, studente ćemo ove godine pozvati i na novu zanimljivu utrku Fiumanka Eco Run koja kombinira trčanje, hodanje i prikupljanje otpada, kao zeleni potpis za kraj Fiumanke – rekao je predsjednik organizacijskog tima Fiumanke Davor Perović.

Polovicom lipnja u Rijeci se već četvrt stoljeća održava "Fiumanka", jedriličarski događaj koji svake godine okupi brojne zaljubljenike u more i jedrenje, a unatrag tri godine pridružili su se i studenti, najavljuje Novi list.
Ove će godine Fiumanku će otvoriti međunarodna studentska regata europske mreže deset sveučilišta YUFE čije će posade zajedriti u Rijeci u četvrtak 6. lipnja, odmah nakon službenog otvorenja Fiumanke. Tijekom vikenda od 7. do 9. lipnja, održavat će se regate fakulteta riječkog Sveučilišta uz već tradicionalni Student Day Festival.
– Ovogodišnju Fiumanku otvorit će međunarodna regata mreže 10 europskih sveučilišta uz naše, riječko. Povezali smo radni dio i sastanke s početkom regate pa će naši europski partneri dobiti priliku zajedriti s nama na Fiumanki.
Upravo su jedrenje kao ekipni sport i YUFE Fiumanka izvrsna prilika za povezivanje, zabavu i stjecanje novih vještina. Nadamo se da će regata postati tradicija unutar YUFE mreže.
Na prvoj YUFE Fiumanki zajedrit će studenti iz Nizozemske, Španjolske, Belgije, Njemačke, Cipra, Finske, Ujedinjenog Kraljvstva Poljske, Francuske i Rijeke te posada Centralnog YUFE ureda – rekla je prorektorica za digitalizaciju i razvoj Sveučilišta u Rijeci Senka Mačešić.
Svaka od jedrilica u regati predstavljat će jedno od YUFE sveučilišta, a dolazi i 20 članova YUFE Student Foruma, koji će također imati svoju jedrilicu i na taj način sudjelovati u natjecanju.
Studentska Fiumanka pretvara se u tradicionalni događaj koji promiče duh riječke sveučilišne zajednice i predstavlja jedinstvenu mogućnost da studenti i zaposlenici Sveučilišta sudjeluju u timskom radu.
U trećem izdanju na regati će ponovno nastupiti maksimalan broj ekipa, njih čak 18.
Zahvaljujući Studentskom centru Sveučilišta u Rijeci i Hrvatskom akademskom sveučilišnom savezu te Pomorskom fakultetu u Rijeci, Studentska Fiumanka je po uzoru na veliku Fiumanku u potpunosti besplatna, čime se studentima omogućava stjecanje novih znanja i vještina te uživanje u aktivnostima na moru.
Osim na jedrenje, studente ćemo ove godine pozvati i na novu zanimljivu utrku Fiumanka Eco Run koja kombinira trčanje, hodanje i prikupljanje otpada, kao zeleni potpis za kraj Fiumanke – rekao je predsjednik organizacijskog tima Fiumanke Davor Perović.
