U sklopu akcije "Čistim Mljet za bolji svijet" u organizaciji Matka Pojatine iz DPS Zagreb, te uz sudjelovanje znanstvenika dr.sc. Pera Tutman iz Instituta za oceanografiju i ribarstvo iz Splita u razdoblju od 29. do 30. travnja održana je ekološka ronilačka akcija čišćenja podmorja od morskog otpada na području Nacionalnog parka "Mljet" – uvala Polače, uvala Križice kod mjesta Kozarica i uvala Kulije.

Akcije su provedene u skladu sa znanstveno utemeljenom metodologijom za prikupljanje i analizu morskog otpada prema Protokolu za provedbu akcija čišćenja morskog okoliša i obalnog područja od morskog otpada na području RH, s ciljem praćenja vrsta i količina otpada koji se pronalaze u teritorijalnom dijelu Jadranskog mora Hrvatske.

Cilj je također bio testirati mogućnosti i načine odvojenog prikupljanja različitih kategorija morskog otpada (plastika, staklo, metal, tkanina i ostalo) u različite vreće direktno pod morem kako bi se na kopnu moglo jednostavnije razdvojiti i izvagati. Na taj će način biti moguće dobiti podatke o masi prikupljenog morskog otpada odvojeno prema pojedinim kategorijama.

Prema inicijativi Matka Pojatine iz DPS Zagreb, preporuka je da se prilikom prikupljanja u vreće staklene i plastične boce svojim vrhovima okrenu prema dolje kako bi se omogućilo istjecanje morske vode. Na taj način se one isprazne, postaju lakše za nošenje i prilikom vaganja se mjeri samo njihova masa, te se tako dobiju točni rezultati o masi prikupljenog otpada iz mora.

Prije provođenja akcija dr.sc. Pero Tutman održao je predavanje o problematici morskog otpada općenito i potrebi prikupljanja podataka sa ronilačkih akcija čišćenja priobalja. Nakon toga Matko Pojatina je roniocima objasnio svoju inicijativu prikupljanja otpada što ujedno predstavlja novi pristup akcijama koje će se ujedno na ovaj način po prvi puta provoditi u Hrvatskoj.

U ovoj ekološkoj akciji čišćenja podmorja sudjelovalo je 25 ronilaca iz DPS Zagreb. Prema preporukama, ronioci su odvojeno prikupljali otpad u zasebnim vrećama tako da su sve kategorije bile odvojene radi lakšeg i jednostavnijeg vaganja na kopnu. Na kopnu su analizu otpada po sastavu i njegovo vaganje vršili dr.sc. Pero Tutman zajedno sa članovima DPS Zagreb.

- Tijekom dva dana u akciji čišćenja prikupljeno je ukupno 1.100 kg morskog otpada (preko 3.000 komada različitog otpada), sa prevladavanjem stakla (48%) i plastike (38%), kako u masi tako i po broju prikupljenih predmeta. Među otpadom su od stakla značajno prevladavale staklene boce i staklenke, od plastike plastične boce od 0,5 i 1 L, te od metala limenke pića. Većina otpada prikupljenog u čišćenju podmorja je lokalnog porijekla i nastao na tom području, a dio otpada nanijele su i morske struje.

Kada govorimo o izvorima morskog otpada na pojedinim lokacijama, možemo procijeniti da je u uvalama Polače i Kulijer on lokalnog porijekla te da se vjerojatno radi o direktnom utjecajem nautičkog turizma, dok se u Križicama radi o donosu otpada pod utjecajem morskih i vjetrovnih struja koji je na tom području izražen - kazao nam je Tutman.

U sklopu akcije "Čistim Mljet za bolji svijet" u organizaciji Matka Pojatine iz DPS Zagreb, te uz sudjelovanje znanstvenika dr.sc. Pera Tutman iz Instituta za oceanografiju i ribarstvo iz Splita u razdoblju od 29. do 30. travnja održana je ekološka ronilačka akcija čišćenja podmorja od morskog otpada na području Nacionalnog parka "Mljet" – uvala Polače, uvala Križice kod mjesta Kozarica i uvala Kulije.

Akcije su provedene u skladu sa znanstveno utemeljenom metodologijom za prikupljanje i analizu morskog otpada prema Protokolu za provedbu akcija čišćenja morskog okoliša i obalnog područja od morskog otpada na području RH, s ciljem praćenja vrsta i količina otpada koji se pronalaze u teritorijalnom dijelu Jadranskog mora Hrvatske.

Cilj je također bio testirati mogućnosti i načine odvojenog prikupljanja različitih kategorija morskog otpada (plastika, staklo, metal, tkanina i ostalo) u različite vreće direktno pod morem kako bi se na kopnu moglo jednostavnije razdvojiti i izvagati. Na taj će način biti moguće dobiti podatke o masi prikupljenog morskog otpada odvojeno prema pojedinim kategorijama.

Prema inicijativi Matka Pojatine iz DPS Zagreb, preporuka je da se prilikom prikupljanja u vreće staklene i plastične boce svojim vrhovima okrenu prema dolje kako bi se omogućilo istjecanje morske vode. Na taj način se one isprazne, postaju lakše za nošenje i prilikom vaganja se mjeri samo njihova masa, te se tako dobiju točni rezultati o masi prikupljenog otpada iz mora.

Prije provođenja akcija dr.sc. Pero Tutman održao je predavanje o problematici morskog otpada općenito i potrebi prikupljanja podataka sa ronilačkih akcija čišćenja priobalja. Nakon toga Matko Pojatina je roniocima objasnio svoju inicijativu prikupljanja otpada što ujedno predstavlja novi pristup akcijama koje će se ujedno na ovaj način po prvi puta provoditi u Hrvatskoj.

U ovoj ekološkoj akciji čišćenja podmorja sudjelovalo je 25 ronilaca iz DPS Zagreb. Prema preporukama, ronioci su odvojeno prikupljali otpad u zasebnim vrećama tako da su sve kategorije bile odvojene radi lakšeg i jednostavnijeg vaganja na kopnu. Na kopnu su analizu otpada po sastavu i njegovo vaganje vršili dr.sc. Pero Tutman zajedno sa članovima DPS Zagreb.

- Tijekom dva dana u akciji čišćenja prikupljeno je ukupno 1.100 kg morskog otpada (preko 3.000 komada različitog otpada), sa prevladavanjem stakla (48%) i plastike (38%), kako u masi tako i po broju prikupljenih predmeta. Među otpadom su od stakla značajno prevladavale staklene boce i staklenke, od plastike plastične boce od 0,5 i 1 L, te od metala limenke pića. Većina otpada prikupljenog u čišćenju podmorja je lokalnog porijekla i nastao na tom području, a dio otpada nanijele su i morske struje.

Kada govorimo o izvorima morskog otpada na pojedinim lokacijama, možemo procijeniti da je u uvalama Polače i Kulijer on lokalnog porijekla te da se vjerojatno radi o direktnom utjecajem nautičkog turizma, dok se u Križicama radi o donosu otpada pod utjecajem morskih i vjetrovnih struja koji je na tom području izražen - kazao nam je Tutman.

U sklopu akcije "Čistim Mljet za bolji svijet" u organizaciji Matka Pojatine iz DPS Zagreb, te uz sudjelovanje znanstvenika dr.sc. Pera Tutman iz Instituta za oceanografiju i ribarstvo iz Splita u razdoblju od 29. do 30. travnja održana je ekološka ronilačka akcija čišćenja podmorja od morskog otpada na području Nacionalnog parka "Mljet" – uvala Polače, uvala Križice kod mjesta Kozarica i uvala Kulije.
