MSC Cruises se udružio s dobrotvornom organizacijom za očuvanje mora ORCA kako bi isporučio sveobuhvatan program za časnike palube ove kompanije s ciljem smanjenja vjerojatnosti sudara s kitovima, dupinima i pliskavicama u morima diljem svijeta.

Časnici mosta broda MSC Bellissima će prvi sudjelovati u online programu obuke. Brod trenutno plovi Mediteranom iz matične luke u Genovi te je odabran kao pilot brod zbog plovidbe kroz „Pelagos Sanctuary“ – prostrano područje od 87.500 četvornih kilometara vode i 2.022 km obale koje je dom brojnim morskim vrstama.

Plan je educirati članove posade koji rade na zapovjedničkom mostu o morskim sisavcima koje mogu susresti na bilo kojoj plovidbi kao i o najboljim praksama za izbjegavanje mogućih udara.

Kapetan Minas Myrtidis, potpredsjednik Odjela za zaštitu okoliša i usklađivanje, MSC Cruises, je rekao: „Surađujući s ORCA-om možemo igrati važnu ulogu u zaštiti mora za buduće generacije. Predani smo pružanju podrške zdravlju naših mora, a partnerstvo sa stručnjacima za uvođenje prilagođene obuke i edukacije je daljnji pozitivan korak naprijed.“

Nakon što će probno testiranje na brodu MSC Bellissima biti dovršeno, online tečaj će biti uveden na sve brodove flote MSC Cruisesa kojih je trenutno 21, te na novogradnju - brod MSC Euribia koji će se floti pridružiti u 6. mjesecu ove godine te zaploviti sjeverom Europe.

Ova perjanica flote, kao i ostali najnoviji brodovi flote, će biti opremljena lopaticama brodskih vijaka sa sustavom koji dodaje mjehuriće zraka oko propelera kako bi se uravnotežio tlak okoline. Ova mjera, baš kao i ostale poput izolacije za smanjenje buke i vibracija mehaničke opreme, pomaže u smanjenju negativnog utjecaja na morski okoliš, a posebno na morske sisavce.

MSC Cruises je 2022. godine preusmjerio svoje brodove kod zapadne obale Grčke kako bi se smanjio rizik od sudara s ugroženim kitovima ulješurama u Sredozemnom moru.

Brod trenutno plovi Mediteranom iz matične luke u Genovi te je odabran kao pilot brod zbog plovidbe kroz „Pelagos Sanctuary“ – prostrano područje od 87.500 četvornih kilometara vode i 2.022 km obale koje je dom brojnim morskim vrstama.

Plan je educirati članove posade koji rade na zapovjedničkom mostu o morskim sisavcima koje mogu susresti na bilo kojoj plovidbi kao i o najboljim praksama za izbjegavanje mogućih udara.

Kapetan Minas Myrtidis, potpredsjednik Odjela za zaštitu okoliša i usklađivanje, MSC Cruises, je rekao: „Surađujući s ORCA-om možemo igrati važnu ulogu u zaštiti mora za buduće generacije. Predani smo pružanju podrške zdravlju naših mora, a partnerstvo sa stručnjacima za uvođenje prilagođene obuke i edukacije je daljnji pozitivan korak naprijed.“

Nakon što će probno testiranje na brodu MSC Bellissima biti dovršeno, online tečaj će biti uveden na sve brodove flote MSC Cruisesa kojih je trenutno 21, te na novogradnju - brod MSC Euribia koji će se floti pridružiti u 6. mjesecu ove godine te zaploviti sjeverom Europe.

Ova perjanica flote, kao i ostali najnoviji brodovi flote, će biti opremljena lopaticama brodskih vijaka sa sustavom koji dodaje mjehuriće zraka oko propelera kako bi se uravnotežio tlak okoline. Ova mjera, baš kao i ostale poput izolacije za smanjenje buke i vibracija mehaničke opreme, pomaže u smanjenju negativnog utjecaja na morski okoliš, a posebno na morske sisavce.

MSC Cruises je 2022. godine preusmjerio svoje brodove kod zapadne obale Grčke kako bi se smanjio rizik od sudara s ugroženim kitovima ulješurama u Sredozemnom moru.

MSC Cruises se udružio s dobrotvornom organizacijom za očuvanje mora ORCA kako bi isporučio sveobuhvatan program za časnike palube ove kompanije s ciljem smanjenja vjerojatnosti sudara s kitovima, dupinima i pliskavicama u morima diljem svijeta.
