Ljubitelji oktanskog cirkusa oduvijek su cijenili morske verzije jurilica, a sada su dobili i ekološki čisto natjecanje. Riječ je o prvoj svjetskoj seriji utrka električnih plovila koja je dobila i svoje prvenstvo UIM E1. Upravo je predstavljen kalendar utrka koji će započeti u Jeddahu u Saudijskoj Arabiji u siječnju 2024. godine i nastaviti će se kroz nekoliko obalnih gradova u Europi (Venecija, Monako...). Prije toga, u rujnu će biti pretpremijera u Rotterdamu.

Svjetsko prvenstvo su osmislili Španjolac Alejandro Agag koji je svojevremeno pokrenuo cestovne utrke električnih automobila Formula E, te Rodi Basso, inače bivši direktor Motorsporta u McLarenu. Ovaj dvojac je okupio tim stručnjaka koji je u samo osam mjeseci napravio trkaći brod s pogonom na struju. Nazvali su ga E1 RaceBird, a u projekt se uključio proizvođač baterija Kreisel, dok je brod od karbona napravila kompanija Victory Marine.

Sustav hidrokrila daje brodu jednosjedu težine 880 kg i dužine sedam metara futuristički izgled, te omogućuje postizanje brzine od 50 čvorova. Baterije kapaciteta 150 kWh daju mu energiju za oko 40 minuta jurnjave po vodi, dok je pogon riješen izvanbrodskom pentom na struju Mercury Racinga. Najzahtjevniji dio je stabilizacijsko krilo na dnu motora koje preuzima težinu dok brod lebdi iznad površine.

Uz promociju ekologije i tehnologije, iza svega ovog kriju se veliki novci, odnosno dobra zabava za one dubljeg džepa, pa se među pokroviteljima ekipa spominju Rafael Nadal, Sergio Perez, Didier Drogba, Tom Brady, te Steve Aoki

Ljubitelji oktanskog cirkusa oduvijek su cijenili morske verzije jurilica, a sada su dobili i ekološki čisto natjecanje. Riječ je o prvoj svjetskoj seriji utrka električnih plovila koja je dobila i svoje prvenstvo UIM E1. Upravo je predstavljen kalendar utrka koji će započeti u Jeddahu u Saudijskoj Arabiji u siječnju 2024. godine i nastaviti će se kroz nekoliko obalnih gradova u Europi (Venecija, Monako...). Prije toga, u rujnu će biti pretpremijera u Rotterdamu.

Svjetsko prvenstvo su osmislili Španjolac Alejandro Agag koji je svojevremeno pokrenuo cestovne utrke električnih automobila Formula E, te Rodi Basso, inače bivši direktor Motorsporta u McLarenu. Ovaj dvojac je okupio tim stručnjaka koji je u samo osam mjeseci napravio trkaći brod s pogonom na struju. Nazvali su ga E1 RaceBird, a u projekt se uključio proizvođač baterija Kreisel, dok je brod od karbona napravila kompanija Victory Marine.

Sustav hidrokrila daje brodu jednosjedu težine 880 kg i dužine sedam metara futuristički izgled, te omogućuje postizanje brzine od 50 čvorova. Baterije kapaciteta 150 kWh daju mu energiju za oko 40 minuta jurnjave po vodi, dok je pogon riješen izvanbrodskom pentom na struju Mercury Racinga. Najzahtjevniji dio je stabilizacijsko krilo na dnu motora koje preuzima težinu dok brod lebdi iznad površine.

Uz promociju ekologije i tehnologije, iza svega ovog kriju se veliki novci, odnosno dobra zabava za one dubljeg džepa, pa se među pokroviteljima ekipa spominju Rafael Nadal, Sergio Perez, Didier Drogba, Tom Brady, te Steve Aoki

Jedna od utrka bit će u Veneciji

Ljubitelji oktanskog cirkusa oduvijek su cijenili morske verzije jurilica, a sada su dobili i ekološki čisto natjecanje. Riječ je o prvoj svjetskoj seriji utrka električnih plovila koja je dobila i svoje prvenstvo UIM E1. Upravo je predstavljen kalendar utrka koji će započeti u Jeddahu u Saudijskoj Arabiji u siječnju 2024. godine i nastaviti će se kroz nekoliko obalnih gradova u Europi (Venecija, Monako...). Prije toga, u rujnu će biti pretpremijera u Rotterdamu.

Svjetsko prvenstvo su osmislili Španjolac Alejandro Agag koji je svojevremeno pokrenuo cestovne utrke električnih automobila Formula E, te Rodi Basso, inače bivši direktor Motorsporta u McLarenu. Ovaj dvojac je okupio tim stručnjaka koji je u samo osam mjeseci napravio trkaći brod s pogonom na struju. Nazvali su ga E1 RaceBird, a u projekt se uključio proizvođač baterija Kreisel, dok je brod od karbona napravila kompanija Victory Marine.

Sustav hidrokrila daje brodu jednosjedu težine 880 kg i dužine sedam metara futuristički izgled, te omogućuje postizanje brzine od 50 čvorova. Baterije kapaciteta 150 kWh daju mu energiju za oko 40 minuta jurnjave po vodi, dok je pogon riješen izvanbrodskom pentom na struju Mercury Racinga. Najzahtjevniji dio je stabilizacijsko krilo na dnu motora koje preuzima težinu dok brod lebdi iznad površine.

Uz promociju ekologije i tehnologije, iza svega ovog kriju se veliki novci, odnosno dobra zabava za one dubljeg džepa, pa se među pokroviteljima ekipa spominju Rafael Nadal, Sergio Perez, Didier Drogba, Tom Brady, te Steve Aoki
