Šime i Mihovil Fantela dosegnuli su u Zadru po snažnoj buri u puno ekstremnijim uvjetima nego na što su navikli na natjecanjima 49er jedrilica, brzinu od čak 24 čvora, piše Zadarski list.

– Sve ceste su bile zatvorene. Autoput je bio zatvoren. Tako da su uvjeti zaista bili ekstremni, otkriva Mihovil Fantela.

Cilj Fantela bio je ovladati burom velike brzine, što još nitko u ovakvoj jedrilici nije uspio. Istina je, u brodu 49er klase izazov je i u sasvim normalnim uvjetima održati ravnotežu i ne završiti u moru. No, braća nisu slučajno u samom svjetskom vrhu.

– Napravili smo 15 pokušaja po takvom vjetru, s ciljem oboriti naš rekord. Uspjeli smo postići brzinu od 24 čvora u našem 49eru, što je stvarno rijetkost. Mi inače uopće ne jedrimo pod takvim uvjetima. Nijedan regatni odbor ne pušta natjecatelje na more dok puše takav vjetar, jer je opasno. Iznimno smo ponosni što smo uspjeli uopće po tome jedriti, rekao je Šime Fantela.

Time su se Šime i Mihovil na pravi način zagrijali za novu jedriličarsku sezonu, u kojoj ih čega pregršt velikih i važnih natjecanja, onih na kojima će biti prisutna sva svjetska 49er elita i dijelit će se najvrjednije medalje.

Šime i Mihovil Fantela dosegnuli su u Zadru po snažnoj buri u puno ekstremnijim uvjetima nego na što su navikli na natjecanjima 49er jedrilica, brzinu od čak 24 čvora, piše Zadarski list.

– Sve ceste su bile zatvorene. Autoput je bio zatvoren. Tako da su uvjeti zaista bili ekstremni, otkriva Mihovil Fantela.

Cilj Fantela bio je ovladati burom velike brzine, što još nitko u ovakvoj jedrilici nije uspio. Istina je, u brodu 49er klase izazov je i u sasvim normalnim uvjetima održati ravnotežu i ne završiti u moru. No, braća nisu slučajno u samom svjetskom vrhu.

– Napravili smo 15 pokušaja po takvom vjetru, s ciljem oboriti naš rekord. Uspjeli smo postići brzinu od 24 čvora u našem 49eru, što je stvarno rijetkost. Mi inače uopće ne jedrimo pod takvim uvjetima. Nijedan regatni odbor ne pušta natjecatelje na more dok puše takav vjetar, jer je opasno. Iznimno smo ponosni što smo uspjeli uopće po tome jedriti, rekao je Šime Fantela.

Time su se Šime i Mihovil na pravi način zagrijali za novu jedriličarsku sezonu, u kojoj ih čega pregršt velikih i važnih natjecanja, onih na kojima će biti prisutna sva svjetska 49er elita i dijelit će se najvrjednije medalje.

Šime i Mihovil Fantela dosegnuli su u Zadru po snažnoj buri u puno ekstremnijim uvjetima nego na što su navikli na natjecanjima 49er jedrilica, brzinu od čak 24 čvora, piše Zadarski list.

– Sve ceste su bile zatvorene. Autoput je bio zatvoren. Tako da su uvjeti zaista bili ekstremni, otkriva Mihovil Fantela.

Cilj Fantela bio je ovladati burom velike brzine, što još nitko u ovakvoj jedrilici nije uspio. Istina je, u brodu 49er klase izazov je i u sasvim normalnim uvjetima održati ravnotežu i ne završiti u moru. No, braća nisu slučajno u samom svjetskom vrhu.

– Napravili smo 15 pokušaja po takvom vjetru, s ciljem oboriti naš rekord. Uspjeli smo postići brzinu od 24 čvora u našem 49eru, što je stvarno rijetkost. Mi inače uopće ne jedrimo pod takvim uvjetima. Nijedan regatni odbor ne pušta natjecatelje na more dok puše takav vjetar, jer je opasno. Iznimno smo ponosni što smo uspjeli uopće po tome jedriti, rekao je Šime Fantela.

Time su se Šime i Mihovil na pravi način zagrijali za novu jedriličarsku sezonu, u kojoj ih čega pregršt velikih i važnih natjecanja, onih na kojima će biti prisutna sva svjetska 49er elita i dijelit će se najvrjednije medalje.
