Do kasnog proljeća od svih cijenjenih riba najbolje se lovi brancin kojeg je moguće prevariti raznim tehnikama. Za jednu od najatraktivnijih, panulanje, osim plovila dovoljno je imati jednostavno kompletirani pribor kakav nudi zadarska tvrtka Ižanka.

Čini je lagano, ali jako motovilo s drškom, te najlonska osnova na kojoj su olovnice, vrtilica, završnjak od fluorougljika i varalica od meke plastike Raglo Ragot duga 12 cm s ugrađenom jakom udicom veličine 2/0., bez dvojbe najučinkovitija takve vrste za lov brancina.
