Newyorški glazbenik ostao je šokiran kada je na kućna vrata u Brooklynu poštom dobio paket kremiranih ljudskih ostataka koji pripadaju potpunom strancu, a još više je bio zapanjen kada mu je pogrebno poduzeće koje ih je poslalo reklo da to dalje nije njihov problem.
Hamilton Leithauser (44) frontmen popularnog indie-punk benda The Walkmen, bio je šokiran u utorak kada je otvorio kartonsku kutiju i pronašao pepeo unutar druge obične kartonske kutije.

Posmrtni ostaci označeni su s datumom 17. listopada 2017., a John‘s Funeral Own u Brownsvilleu otpremilo ih je "sadašnjem stanovniku" njegovog studio apartmana u Istočnom Williamsburgu.
Kada je Hamilton pokušao nazvati pogrebno poduzeće kako bi ispravio stvari, vlasnik je bio izuzetno beskoristan.
"Rekao je nešto poput: ‘To je sada vaš problem i zapravo mi je spustio slušalicu", rekao je Hamilton.

Leithauser, koji je prošle godine izgubio mamu, rekao je da suosjeća s mrtvim čovjekom - čije je ime Walter - i svima koji su ga možda voljeli.
"Ne želim biti pretjerano sentimentalan, ali moja majka je umrla prošle godine i imamo njezin pepeo", rekao je. "Sada se osjećam vezano za starog Walta. Nitko nije došao po tog tipa", rekao je.

Posmrtni ostaci označeni su s datumom 17. listopada 2017., a John‘s Funeral Own u Brownsvilleu otpremilo ih je "sadašnjem stanovniku" njegovog studio apartmana u Istočnom Williamsburgu.
Kada je Hamilton pokušao nazvati pogrebno poduzeće kako bi ispravio stvari, vlasnik je bio izuzetno beskoristan.

No, prije nego što je spustio slušalicu, iz pogrebnog poduzeća su mu rekli kako nitko nije došao po pepeon pa su oni poslali na njegovu adresu jer su mislili da možda na toj adresi još živi neki pokojnikom rođak po imenu Robbie ili možda Ronnie.
Leithauser, koji je prošle godine izgubio mamu, rekao je da suosjeća s mrtvim čovjekom - čije je ime Walter - i svima koji su ga možda voljeli.
