Roman Abramovič. Za 400 milijuna dolara kupio je otok Nova Nizozemska u delti Neve, blizu centra Petrograda.
Top-listu najskupljih osobnih kupovina svjetskih bogataša sastavio je američki magazin Forbes.
Otok, površine 7,8 km2, nastao je početkom 18. stoljeća prokopavanjem kanala između Neve i rijeke Mojke. Tu je, po naređenju Petra Velikog, nastala prva ruska vojna luka. Abramovič namjerava otok pretvoriti u veliki modni, zabavni i kulturni centar, s galerijama, hotelima, trgovinama i restoranima.
Ovaj oligarh, s imetkom procijenjenim na oko 11 milijardi dolara (50. mjesto na svijetu), nije navikao štedjeti. Još 2003. kupio je londonski nogometni klub Chelsea, ima nekoliko jahti, među kojima je i najduža privatna jahta na svijetu “Eclipse”, leti svojim boeingom, ima ergelu luksuznih sportskih vozila...
Drugo mjesto na Forbesovoj listi pripalo je američkom milijarderu Stevenu Cohenu, osnivaču poznatog hedge fonda SAC Capital Advisors.
Ovaj ljubitelj moderne umjetnosti nije oklijevao da za sliku “Zastava” od ne baš pretjerano poznatog američkog slikara
Jaspera Johna plati fantastičnih 110 milijuna dolara.
To je, inače, dosad najveća svota plaćena za neko likovno djelo živog autora.
Na trećemu je mjestu pakistanski milijarder Mian Muhamad Mansha koji je kupio luksuzni londonski hotel St. James Hotel&Club za 95 milijuna dolara.
Prema Forbesu, radi se o najskupljem hotelu, gledano prema broju soba, tj. apartmana – jedan apartman stajao je nešto više od 1,5 milijuna dolara, a ima ih ukupno 60...

Roman Abramovič. Za 400 milijuna dolara kupio je otok Nova Nizozemska u delti Neve, blizu centra Petrograda.
Top-listu najskupljih osobnih kupovina svjetskih bogataša sastavio je američki magazin Forbes.
Otok, površine 7,8 km2, nastao je početkom 18. stoljeća prokopavanjem kanala između Neve i rijeke Mojke. Tu je, po naređenju Petra Velikog, nastala prva ruska vojna luka. Abramovič namjerava otok pretvoriti u veliki modni, zabavni i kulturni centar, s galerijama, hotelima, trgovinama i restoranima.
Ovaj oligarh, s imetkom procijenjenim na oko 11 milijardi dolara (50. mjesto na svijetu), nije navikao štedjeti. Još 2003. kupio je londonski nogometni klub Chelsea, ima nekoliko jahti, među kojima je i najduža privatna jahta na svijetu “Eclipse”, leti svojim boeingom, ima ergelu luksuznih sportskih vozila...
Drugo mjesto na Forbesovoj listi pripalo je američkom milijarderu Stevenu Cohenu, osnivaču poznatog hedge fonda SAC Capital Advisors.
Ovaj ljubitelj moderne umjetnosti nije oklijevao da za sliku “Zastava” od ne baš pretjerano poznatog američkog slikara
Jaspera Johna plati fantastičnih 110 milijuna dolara.
To je, inače, dosad najveća svota plaćena za neko likovno djelo živog autora.
Na trećemu je mjestu pakistanski milijarder Mian Muhamad Mansha koji je kupio luksuzni londonski hotel St. James Hotel&Club za 95 milijuna dolara.
Prema Forbesu, radi se o najskupljem hotelu, gledano prema broju soba, tj. apartmana – jedan apartman stajao je nešto više od 1,5 milijuna dolara, a ima ih ukupno 60...
