Kada se na dijetu kreće od ponedjeljka, od rujna, siječnja ili godišnjice prvoga odlaska u McDonald's, u većini slučajeva ona završi katastrofalno loše. Nakon iscrpljujućeg perioda gladovanja nastupa svima poznati "jojo efekt" koji vam poput bumeranga sve izgubljene kilograme vrati lagano u glavu, ili još bolje, rasporedi strateški po bedrima, stomaku i bokovima... 

Ali kad su u pitanju životne promjene "od upravo sada", moguće je da će iste i upaliti. Akterica ove priče pravi je primjer toga. Danielle je bila punašna žena u kasnim tridesetima, zaposlena i majka dvoje djece, a nije joj ni padalo na pamet da nešto radi "krivo".

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

I started my journey determined to run a 5K. My knees wouldn’t cooperate because of the extra 50 pounds I carried. I ran a little bit and mostly walked... but I did it. . I started. That's what really counts. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻When I started I couldn't do one push up on my toes. I couldn't run one mile without my knees aching and feeling breathless. I couldn't do a burpee or a sit up. I couldn't jump or even do a full squat or lunge, but I started. I can't even put into words the feeling I had today remembering how far this journey has brought me. 😍🤩 . I would not be here today still making progress, still pressing on, still taking steps if it weren’t for coaching. That decision changed everything for me. It showed me I CAN. It kept me accountable. It gave me a tribe of people striving right along with me making imperfect progress together. . I've heard people say to keep looking forward and don't dwell on the past, but the past is my reminder to keep going. The past is my reminder to never give up. The past is my reminder of how far I've come. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ . You can start. You can change your story. You will get to a place and be able to look back if you begin. but the sooner you start, the sooner you get to look back. The sooner you get to say, I CAN! Ne trvdimo ni mi to. No užurbani način života i nekvalitetna, isto tako "brza" prehrana učinili su svoje, pa se našla s dvadesetak kilograma viška i bez ikakvog plana i programa kako to promijeniti.

Little steps, big steps, leaps, tip toes.. “tip toe if you must but just keep going!” . That’s how change has happened over the past almost decade. I’m stronger, leaner, faster, and healthier than I ever was in my twenties. And I was “skinny” during some of those years...but not healthy. . I’ve had a Superfood Shake EVERY day. I’ve worked out consistently at home through it all. I’ve had an incredible team cheering me on as I cheer them on. I’ve slowly learned to eat for my body and find freedom and JOY with my food. I’ve just kept stepping. . My friend... keep stepping. Nakon savjetovanja sa stručnjacima odlučila je postupno uvoditi treninge: lagane šetnje prerasle su u trčanje, no najvažniji ulogu odigrala je, kao i u većini slučajeva mršavljenja, prehrana. No, ne onako kako biste pomislili.

Umjesto da sreže količinu hrane i navečer u krevet liježe gladna pa je uspavljuje zvuk kruljenja u želucu, Danielle je počela jesti - češće. Svaka dva do tri sata bilo bi vrijeme za obrok; na ovaj način proradio je uspavani metabolizam, a konzumacijom kvalitetnih namirnica tijelo je ostajalo nahranjeno i snažno.

Evo i primjer jednog njenog dnevnog jelovnika:

Prije treninga: 2 tvrdo kuhana jaja, pola banane s maslacem od kikirikija

Poslije treninga: proteinski shake (mjerica whey proteina + voda/ bademovo mlijeko)

Doručak (2 sata nakon treninga): smoothie od špinata - primjer: pola banane, špinat, whey, nekoliko badema, bademovo mlijeko

Ručak: okruglice od purećeg mesa, kuhane mahune, krumpir i mrkva, smeđa riža 

Desert: voće (jabuka, borovnice ili neko drugo bobičasto voće)

Užina: proteinska čokoladica (kupovna, a možete ih napraviti i kod kuće, recept ovdje)

Večera: pileća prsa, slatki krumpir, brokula (batat možete u ispeći u pećnici, a brokulu samo kratko prokuhati)

Na ovaj način, jedući češće, ali kvalitetnije i zdravije, Danielle je izgubila gotovo 30 kilograma u samo godinu dana. Danas je uspješna fitness motivatorica na društvenim mrežama gdje dijeli svoj plan prehrane i načine treniranja.
