Inače vrlo uspavan mjesec, siječanj, vrtlarima ne daje nikako prostora za ljenčarenje
Poslova na okućnici uvijek ima, a suha i sunčana zima dat će nam elan da vrtlarsku sezonu pripremimo taman na vrijeme. Dakle, što sve možete raditi u prvom mjesecu 2022. godine, piše Dom i Dizajn.
U CVJETNJAKU
Sada orezujte ukrasne grmove, uklonite sve suhe i oštećene grane. Ako tlo nije smrznuto, možete posaditi ruže golog korijena te uživati u njihovoj cvatnji ovo ljeto.
S obzirom na dugo razdoblje od sjetve do prvih cvjetova, vrijeme je za početak uzgoja begonija, pelargonija, raznih vrsta karanfila i zijevalica iz sjemena.
Očistite stare stabljike višegodišnjih biljaka poput seduma i stolisnika, pazeći pritom na nove izboje.
Na nekoliko centimetara od tla odrežite staro lišće ukrasnih trava prije nego što počnu s novim rastom.
Ako vam je cvjetnjak siv i bezličan, upotpunite ga niskim vrstama crnogorice, poput mini čempresa.
U POVRTNJAKU

Uklonite sve uvelo i žuto lišće s kupusnjača kako biste spriječili širenje bolesti i štetočina. Ako tlo nije smrznuto, povadite preostale kulture iz povrtnjaka - poriluk, pastrnjak i kupusnjače. Ako tlo nije smrznuto ni pokriveno snijegom, možete napraviti i duboku obradu tla te gnojidbu organskim gnojivima.
Krenite s izradom plana sjetve i sadnje biljaka u povrtnjaku. Kako pojedine kulture različito reagiraju na pretkulture i susjedne biljke, naglasak stavite na dobro organiziran plodored.
Da biste si olakšali vrtlarsku sezonu, osim prema plodoredu, biljke podijelite u tri grupe ovisno o vremenu sadnje - proljetne, ljetne i jesenske.

Vrijeme je za reciklažu božićnog drvca, vijenaca i aranžmana. Sitne grane odložite u kompost, a one veće ostavite kao buduće potpornje za proljetni uzgoj graška. Za popločane površine na okućnici radije posipajte pijesak umjesto soli kako biste spriječili klizavost uslijed niskih temperatura.
Pratite vremenske prilike i prema potrebi orezujte sve oštećene i slomljene grane stabala na okućnici. Ako tlo nije smrznuto, nastavite sa sadnjom ukrasnog drveća i grmlja.
Pratite eventualna oštećenja od glodavaca i divljači.
Napunite hranilice za ptice te im za vrijeme zimskih mjeseci dodatno osigurajte masne kuglice pomiješane sa sjemenkama.
Provjerite voće i povrće u spremištu te uklonite sve trulo i bolesno.
Počnite s planiranjem sezone kako biste vidjeli koje količine sjemena trebate, pa počnite s naručivanjem.
S obzirom na to da više vremena provodimo u zatvorenom, treba obratiti pozornost na kućne biljke. One zahtijevaju mnogo manje vode i hranjiva, ali više brige vezane uz zaštitu. Uslijed nedovoljno svjetla, pregrijanih i zagušljivih prostorija te nepravilnog zalijevanja i gnojidbe, sobne biljke postaju podložne napadima ušiju i pauka, ali i pepelnice te hrđe.

Inače vrlo uspavan mjesec, siječanj, vrtlarima ne daje nikako prostora za ljenčarenje
Poslova na okućnici uvijek ima, a suha i sunčana zima dat će nam elan da vrtlarsku sezonu pripremimo taman na vrijeme. Dakle, što sve možete raditi u prvom mjesecu 2022. godine, piše Dom i Dizajn.
U CVJETNJAKU
Sada orezujte ukrasne grmove, uklonite sve suhe i oštećene grane. Ako tlo nije smrznuto, možete posaditi ruže golog korijena te uživati u njihovoj cvatnji ovo ljeto.
S obzirom na dugo razdoblje od sjetve do prvih cvjetova, vrijeme je za početak uzgoja begonija, pelargonija, raznih vrsta karanfila i zijevalica iz sjemena.
Očistite stare stabljike višegodišnjih biljaka poput seduma i stolisnika, pazeći pritom na nove izboje.
Na nekoliko centimetara od tla odrežite staro lišće ukrasnih trava prije nego što počnu s novim rastom.
Ako vam je cvjetnjak siv i bezličan, upotpunite ga niskim vrstama crnogorice, poput mini čempresa.
U POVRTNJAKU

Uklonite sve uvelo i žuto lišće s kupusnjača kako biste spriječili širenje bolesti i štetočina. Ako tlo nije smrznuto, povadite preostale kulture iz povrtnjaka - poriluk, pastrnjak i kupusnjače. Ako tlo nije smrznuto ni pokriveno snijegom, možete napraviti i duboku obradu tla te gnojidbu organskim gnojivima.
Krenite s izradom plana sjetve i sadnje biljaka u povrtnjaku. Kako pojedine kulture različito reagiraju na pretkulture i susjedne biljke, naglasak stavite na dobro organiziran plodored.
Da biste si olakšali vrtlarsku sezonu, osim prema plodoredu, biljke podijelite u tri grupe ovisno o vremenu sadnje - proljetne, ljetne i jesenske.
Želite li započeti s ranijom sjetvom, počnite nekoliko tjedana prije pokrivati gredice zaštitnim folijama kojima ćete zagrijati tlo.
U VOĆNJAKU
Ako još niste, počnite s orezivanjem jabuka i krušaka, a trešnje, šljive i marelice orezujte tek krajem proljeća.
Nastavite sa sadnjom malina te orezivanjem ribiza i ogrozda. Ako želite voćnjak upotpuniti nečim novim, isprobajte borovnice.

Želite li stvoriti povoljnu mikroklimu za uzgoj ranih presadnica, u stakleniku koristite grijalice te tako potaknite brži rast biljaka.
NA TRAVNJAKU
Izbjegavajte hodanje po travnjaku kada je natopljen kišom ili pokriven mrazom, jer će ga to znatno oštetiti.
OSTALI POSLOVI OKO VRTA

Vrijeme je za reciklažu božićnog drvca, vijenaca i aranžmana. Sitne grane odložite u kompost, a one veće ostavite kao buduće potpornje za proljetni uzgoj graška. Za popločane površine na okućnici radije posipajte pijesak umjesto soli kako biste spriječili klizavost uslijed niskih temperatura.
Pratite vremenske prilike i prema potrebi orezujte sve oštećene i slomljene grane stabala na okućnici. Ako tlo nije smrznuto, nastavite sa sadnjom ukrasnog drveća i grmlja.
Pratite eventualna oštećenja od glodavaca i divljači.
Napunite hranilice za ptice te im za vrijeme zimskih mjeseci dodatno osigurajte masne kuglice pomiješane sa sjemenkama.
Provjerite voće i povrće u spremištu te uklonite sve trulo i bolesno.
Počnite s planiranjem sezone kako biste vidjeli koje količine sjemena trebate, pa počnite s naručivanjem.
S obzirom na to da više vremena provodimo u zatvorenom, treba obratiti pozornost na kućne biljke. One zahtijevaju mnogo manje vode i hranjiva, ali više brige vezane uz zaštitu. Uslijed nedovoljno svjetla, pregrijanih i zagušljivih prostorija te nepravilnog zalijevanja i gnojidbe, sobne biljke postaju podložne napadima ušiju i pauka, ali i pepelnice te hrđe.
