Brojna istraživanja upućuju na to da je naša mediteranska prehrana, bogata voćem, povrćem, ribom, grahoricama, žitaricama i neizostavnim maslinovim uljem, jedna od najzdravijih na svijetu.

Ona snižava loš kolesterol, čuva zdravlje srca i krvnih žila, sprječava infarkt i moždani udar, produljuje život, čuva zdravlje kostiju, pa time i štiti od osteoporoze, dobra je za mozak, a prema najnovijoj studiji koja je predstavljena na godišnjem susretu američkih psihijatara u San Franciscu, smanjuje i rizik od razvoja depresije u starijoj životnoj dobi, piše Medical News Today. 

U istraživanju na grčkom Sveučilištu Patra, pod vodstvom dr. Konsatntinosa Argyropoulosa, sudjelovali su korisnici Centra za starije osobe. Njih 64 posto hranilo se umjerenom mediteranskom prehranom, a 34 posto isključivo mediteranskom (svime onime što su još i naše bake govorile da je za nas najzdravije). Među ispitanicima 25 posto ih je pokazivalo znakove depresije, većinom su to bile žene koje se nisu strogo držale mediteranske kuhinje.

"Rezultati pokazuju da je depresija u starijoj životnoj dobi usko povezana s nekoliko rizičnih faktora. Isto tako pokazalo se da su osobe koje su većinu života jele prema principu mediteranske kuhinje imale manji rizik od toga da obole od depresije", stoji u zaključku studije.   

Pretpostavljamo da su vam principi ovakve kuhinje više nego poznati, ali nije se loše podsjetiti da nutricionisti preporučuju obilato upotrebljavati umak od rajčica i svježu rajčicu, smanjiti unos mesa (bijelog i crvenog) na dva puta tjedno, jesti plavu ribu nekoliko puta tjedno te svaki dan popiti 2 dl crnog vina. Zbogom depresiji!

Brojna istraživanja upućuju na to da je naša mediteranska prehrana, bogata voćem, povrćem, ribom, grahoricama, žitaricama i neizostavnim maslinovim uljem, jedna od najzdravijih na svijetu.

Ona snižava loš kolesterol, čuva zdravlje srca i krvnih žila, sprječava infarkt i moždani udar, produljuje život, čuva zdravlje kostiju, pa time i štiti od osteoporoze, dobra je za mozak, a prema najnovijoj studiji koja je predstavljena na godišnjem susretu američkih psihijatara u San Franciscu, smanjuje i rizik od razvoja depresije u starijoj životnoj dobi, piše Medical News Today. 

U istraživanju na grčkom Sveučilištu Patra, pod vodstvom dr. Konsatntinosa Argyropoulosa, sudjelovali su korisnici Centra za starije osobe. Njih 64 posto hranilo se umjerenom mediteranskom prehranom, a 34 posto isključivo mediteranskom (svime onime što su još i naše bake govorile da je za nas najzdravije). Među ispitanicima 25 posto ih je pokazivalo znakove depresije, većinom su to bile žene koje se nisu strogo držale mediteranske kuhinje.

"Rezultati pokazuju da je depresija u starijoj životnoj dobi usko povezana s nekoliko rizičnih faktora. Isto tako pokazalo se da su osobe koje su većinu života jele prema principu mediteranske kuhinje imale manji rizik od toga da obole od depresije", stoji u zaključku studije.   

Pretpostavljamo da su vam principi ovakve kuhinje više nego poznati, ali nije se loše podsjetiti da nutricionisti preporučuju obilato upotrebljavati umak od rajčica i svježu rajčicu, smanjiti unos mesa (bijelog i crvenog) na dva puta tjedno, jesti plavu ribu nekoliko puta tjedno te svaki dan popiti 2 dl crnog vina. Zbogom depresiji!

Brojna istraživanja upućuju na to da je naša mediteranska prehrana, bogata voćem, povrćem, ribom, grahoricama, žitaricama i neizostavnim maslinovim uljem, jedna od najzdravijih na svijetu.

Ona snižava loš kolesterol, čuva zdravlje srca i krvnih žila, sprječava infarkt i moždani udar, produljuje život, čuva zdravlje kostiju, pa time i štiti od osteoporoze, dobra je za mozak, a prema najnovijoj studiji koja je predstavljena na godišnjem susretu američkih psihijatara u San Franciscu, smanjuje i rizik od razvoja depresije u starijoj životnoj dobi, piše Medical News Today. 

U istraživanju na grčkom Sveučilištu Patra, pod vodstvom dr. Konsatntinosa Argyropoulosa, sudjelovali su korisnici Centra za starije osobe. Njih 64 posto hranilo se umjerenom mediteranskom prehranom, a 34 posto isključivo mediteranskom (svime onime što su još i naše bake govorile da je za nas najzdravije). Među ispitanicima 25 posto ih je pokazivalo znakove depresije, većinom su to bile žene koje se nisu strogo držale mediteranske kuhinje.

"Rezultati pokazuju da je depresija u starijoj životnoj dobi usko povezana s nekoliko rizičnih faktora. Isto tako pokazalo se da su osobe koje su većinu života jele prema principu mediteranske kuhinje imale manji rizik od toga da obole od depresije", stoji u zaključku studije.   

Pretpostavljamo da su vam principi ovakve kuhinje više nego poznati, ali nije se loše podsjetiti da nutricionisti preporučuju obilato upotrebljavati umak od rajčica i svježu rajčicu, smanjiti unos mesa (bijelog i crvenog) na dva puta tjedno, jesti plavu ribu nekoliko puta tjedno te svaki dan popiti 2 dl crnog vina. Zbogom depresiji!
