Ni ovo Splitsko ljeto neće proći bez Verdijeva "Nabucca": nakon premijernih "Lombardijaca", bit će to druga opera na Peristilu, a u planu su dvije izvedbe, 21. i 23. srpnja, s početkom u 21 sat. Operom će ravnati maestro Jure Bučević.
Po mnogima tek s "Nabuccom" opera postaje umjetnost popularna i u najširim narodnim slojevima.
Uz "Aidu", ovo je djelo već desetljećima simbol Splitskog ljeta i ustalilo se u programu od samih početaka festivala.
Redateljica Jelena Bosančić premijerno je postavila predstavu pretprošle godine, za tu priliku prigodno obnovivši režiju Georgija Para iz 2003. godine te je na taj način odala počast svojem profesoru i jednom od najznačajnijih hrvatskih redatelja.
Verdi je skladao "Nabucca" s 28 godina. Bila je to njegova istinska životna i profesionalna prekretnica, te se amblematskima smatraju njegove riječi upućene izdavaču Giuliju Ricordiju: "S ovom je operom počela moja karijera."
Mladi je Verdi, nakon što mu prve dvije opere nisu postigle uspjeh kojem se nadao, te nakon osobnih tragedija kada su mu u samo nekoliko godina umrli dvoje djece i žena, zapao u životnu i kreativnu depresiju.
Zvijezda opernog neba
I tada, na narudžbu milanske Scale, piše "Nabucca", koji ga lansira u orbitu kao novu, a uskoro će se pokazati i najveću svih vremena, zvijezdu opernog neba.
Glazbena priča o tragediji židovskog naroda u vrijeme babilonskog kralja Nabukodonosora poklopila se s aktualnim sudbonosnim političkim previranjima vezanim uz ujedinjenje Italije.
Verdi je Italiji donio glazbu koja je izrazila strast i žudnju nacije za ujedinjenjem i postala važan dio talijanskog nacionalnog identiteta. No, vrijeme je pokazalo da je "Nabucco" mnogo više od agitacijske drame i opera do današnjih dana uživa nepodijeljenu globalnu popularnost.
Ulogu Nabucca tumačit će Devid Cecconi, Ismaele će u prvoj izvedbi biti Bože Jurić Pešić, a Max Jota u drugoj, a također će ovoga ljeta dvoje pjevača tumačiti Zaccariju – Ivica Čikeš 21. srpnja, a Božo Župić 23. srpnja.
Nabuccove kćeri, Abigaillu i Fennenu, utjelovit će Daniela Schillaci i Antonija Teskera, Baalov veliki svećenik bit će Mate Akrap, Abdallo Vinko Maroević, a Anna Branka Pleština Stanić.
Scenografkinja je Dinka Jeričević, kostimografkinja Sonja Obradović (prema idejnim rješenjima Irene Sušac i Lea Kulaša), a koreografi su Miljenko Vikić i Ljiljana Gvozdenović.
Budući da je splitska publika već vidjela "Lombardijce", mnogima će biti interesantne poveznice između tih dviju opera.
Vrlo su česte usporedbe "Nabucca" i "Lombardijaca", osobito stoga što u objema operama zbor ima važnu ulogu.
Kako je nedavno kazao maestro Ivo Lipanović, koji je ravnao "Lombardijcima" (napisanima godinu dana nakon "Nabucca"), djela imaju velikih sličnosti u melodiji, ritmu i ritmičkim promjenama tempa, a najčešće se uspoređuje zbor iz "Lombardijaca" "O signore, dal tetto natio" sa zborom Židova "Va, pensiero" iz "Nabucca".

Ni ovo Splitsko ljeto neće proći bez Verdijeva "Nabucca": nakon premijernih "Lombardijaca", bit će to druga opera na Peristilu, a u planu su dvije izvedbe, 21. i 23. srpnja, s početkom u 21 sat. Operom će ravnati maestro Jure Bučević.
Po mnogima tek s "Nabuccom" opera postaje umjetnost popularna i u najširim narodnim slojevima.
Uz "Aidu", ovo je djelo već desetljećima simbol Splitskog ljeta i ustalilo se u programu od samih početaka festivala.
Redateljica Jelena Bosančić premijerno je postavila predstavu pretprošle godine, za tu priliku prigodno obnovivši režiju Georgija Para iz 2003. godine te je na taj način odala počast svojem profesoru i jednom od najznačajnijih hrvatskih redatelja.
Verdi je skladao "Nabucca" s 28 godina. Bila je to njegova istinska životna i profesionalna prekretnica, te se amblematskima smatraju njegove riječi upućene izdavaču Giuliju Ricordiju: "S ovom je operom počela moja karijera."
Mladi je Verdi, nakon što mu prve dvije opere nisu postigle uspjeh kojem se nadao, te nakon osobnih tragedija kada su mu u samo nekoliko godina umrli dvoje djece i žena, zapao u životnu i kreativnu depresiju.
Zvijezda opernog neba
I tada, na narudžbu milanske Scale, piše "Nabucca", koji ga lansira u orbitu kao novu, a uskoro će se pokazati i najveću svih vremena, zvijezdu opernog neba.
Glazbena priča o tragediji židovskog naroda u vrijeme babilonskog kralja Nabukodonosora poklopila se s aktualnim sudbonosnim političkim previranjima vezanim uz ujedinjenje Italije.
Verdi je Italiji donio glazbu koja je izrazila strast i žudnju nacije za ujedinjenjem i postala važan dio talijanskog nacionalnog identiteta. No, vrijeme je pokazalo da je "Nabucco" mnogo više od agitacijske drame i opera do današnjih dana uživa nepodijeljenu globalnu popularnost.
Ulogu Nabucca tumačit će Devid Cecconi, Ismaele će u prvoj izvedbi biti Bože Jurić Pešić, a Max Jota u drugoj, a također će ovoga ljeta dvoje pjevača tumačiti Zaccariju – Ivica Čikeš 21. srpnja, a Božo Župić 23. srpnja.
Nabuccove kćeri, Abigaillu i Fennenu, utjelovit će Daniela Schillaci i Antonija Teskera, Baalov veliki svećenik bit će Mate Akrap, Abdallo Vinko Maroević, a Anna Branka Pleština Stanić.
Scenografkinja je Dinka Jeričević, kostimografkinja Sonja Obradović (prema idejnim rješenjima Irene Sušac i Lea Kulaša), a koreografi su Miljenko Vikić i Ljiljana Gvozdenović.
Budući da je splitska publika već vidjela "Lombardijce", mnogima će biti interesantne poveznice između tih dviju opera.

Kako je nedavno kazao maestro Ivo Lipanović, koji je ravnao "Lombardijcima" (napisanima godinu dana nakon "Nabucca"), djela imaju velikih sličnosti u melodiji, ritmu i ritmičkim promjenama tempa, a najčešće se uspoređuje zbor iz "Lombardijaca" "O signore, dal tetto natio" sa zborom Židova "Va, pensiero" iz "Nabucca".
