Još u 11. mjesecu prošle godine trebali smo gledati meč između Stipe Miočića i Jona Jonesa. Međutim, krajem desetog mjeseca Jon Jones morao je otkazati svoj nastup. Ponajveći borac u povijesti ovog sporta ozlijedio se na treningu i došlo je do puknuća velikog prsnog mišića - piše Fightsite.hr.

Svima je bilo jasno da Jonesa čeka duga pauza nakon takve ozljede. Predviđao se povratak tijekom ljetnih mjeseci, ali zasad nije poznato kada će se točno Jones vratiti u kavez. Dok je prolazio kroz oporavak od operacije prsnog mišića, Jones je odradio još jednu operaciju kako bi sanirao i ozljedu lakta.

Prije nekoliko dana Jones se vratio treninzima i svi nestrpljivo iščekujemo novo ugovaranje meča između njega i Miočića. Međutim, nameću se određene sumnje oko održavanja tog meča. Stipe Miočić po običaju je povučen i tih prema medijima, a Jon Jones sinoćnjom objavom na Twitteru naveo je fanove na razmišljanje.

‘‘S kime biste me radije gledali kako se borim, s Alexom (Pereirom) ili Tomom (Aspinallom)?‘‘, pitao je Jones svoje fanove putem Twittera.

Mišljenja su podijeljena, a Jones je jednom od svojih pratitelja odgovorio kako je Alex Pereira ‘‘opasan tip‘‘. Dakle, Jon Jones počeo je razvijati svojevrsni interes za obračunom s Alexom Pereirom, prvakom UFC-ove poluteške kategorije. Tom Aspinall kao privremeni prvak teške kategorije također je u kombinacijama, ali interesantno je kako je Jones mjesecima pokušavao ‘‘ušutkati‘‘ Aspinallove prozivke pojašnjavajući mu kako isključivo Miočića vidi kao sljedećeg protivnika.

Jones sada nije niti spomenuo Miočića, ali moguće je da ‘‘Bones‘‘ jednostavno gleda unaprijed ili je hipotetskim pitanjem jednostavno pokušao zaintrigirati fanove.

Tom Aspinall trebao bi krajem sedmog mjeseca braniti status privremenog prvaka na UFC-ovoj priredbi u Manchesteru. Ciryl Gane i Curtis Blaydes spominju se kao najizgledniji protivnici, što bi značilo da UFC ima neke druge planove za Jonesa. Nadamo se da je Stipe Miočić i dalje dio tih planova. Miočić je kao najveći teškaš u povijesti UFC-a zaslužio oprostiti se od sporta takvom borbom, ali nije isključeno da sam Miočić gubi interes čekajući Jonesa i njegov oporavak.

Kao što smo ranije naveli, Jones se vratio treninzima i to je svakako dobar korak ka njegovom skorašnjem povratku. Preostaje nam saznati tko će se naći u kavezu s prvakom UFC-ove teške kategorije.

Još u 11. mjesecu prošle godine trebali smo gledati meč između Stipe Miočića i Jona Jonesa. Međutim, krajem desetog mjeseca Jon Jones morao je otkazati svoj nastup. Ponajveći borac u povijesti ovog sporta ozlijedio se na treningu i došlo je do puknuća velikog prsnog mišića - piše Fightsite.hr.

Svima je bilo jasno da Jonesa čeka duga pauza nakon takve ozljede. Predviđao se povratak tijekom ljetnih mjeseci, ali zasad nije poznato kada će se točno Jones vratiti u kavez. Dok je prolazio kroz oporavak od operacije prsnog mišića, Jones je odradio još jednu operaciju kako bi sanirao i ozljedu lakta.

Prije nekoliko dana Jones se vratio treninzima i svi nestrpljivo iščekujemo novo ugovaranje meča između njega i Miočića. Međutim, nameću se određene sumnje oko održavanja tog meča. Stipe Miočić po običaju je povučen i tih prema medijima, a Jon Jones sinoćnjom objavom na Twitteru naveo je fanove na razmišljanje.

‘‘S kime biste me radije gledali kako se borim, s Alexom (Pereirom) ili Tomom (Aspinallom)?‘‘, pitao je Jones svoje fanove putem Twittera.

Mišljenja su podijeljena, a Jones je jednom od svojih pratitelja odgovorio kako je Alex Pereira ‘‘opasan tip‘‘. Dakle, Jon Jones počeo je razvijati svojevrsni interes za obračunom s Alexom Pereirom, prvakom UFC-ove poluteške kategorije. Tom Aspinall kao privremeni prvak teške kategorije također je u kombinacijama, ali interesantno je kako je Jones mjesecima pokušavao ‘‘ušutkati‘‘ Aspinallove prozivke pojašnjavajući mu kako isključivo Miočića vidi kao sljedećeg protivnika.

Jones sada nije niti spomenuo Miočića, ali moguće je da ‘‘Bones‘‘ jednostavno gleda unaprijed ili je hipotetskim pitanjem jednostavno pokušao zaintrigirati fanove.

Tom Aspinall trebao bi krajem sedmog mjeseca braniti status privremenog prvaka na UFC-ovoj priredbi u Manchesteru. Ciryl Gane i Curtis Blaydes spominju se kao najizgledniji protivnici, što bi značilo da UFC ima neke druge planove za Jonesa. Nadamo se da je Stipe Miočić i dalje dio tih planova. Miočić je kao najveći teškaš u povijesti UFC-a zaslužio oprostiti se od sporta takvom borbom, ali nije isključeno da sam Miočić gubi interes čekajući Jonesa i njegov oporavak.

Kao što smo ranije naveli, Jones se vratio treninzima i to je svakako dobar korak ka njegovom skorašnjem povratku. Preostaje nam saznati tko će se naći u kavezu s prvakom UFC-ove teške kategorije.

Još u 11. mjesecu prošle godine trebali smo gledati meč između Stipe Miočića i Jona Jonesa. Međutim, krajem desetog mjeseca Jon Jones morao je otkazati svoj nastup. Ponajveći borac u povijesti ovog sporta ozlijedio se na treningu i došlo je do puknuća velikog prsnog mišića - piše Fightsite.hr.

Svima je bilo jasno da Jonesa čeka duga pauza nakon takve ozljede. Predviđao se povratak tijekom ljetnih mjeseci, ali zasad nije poznato kada će se točno Jones vratiti u kavez. Dok je prolazio kroz oporavak od operacije prsnog mišića, Jones je odradio još jednu operaciju kako bi sanirao i ozljedu lakta.
