Bernarda Pera, tenisačica iz Zadra koja je tri godine odlučila izabrati igrati za SAD zbog boljih uvjeta, jedna je od senzacija 1. kola Australian Opena koji je počeo jutros u Melbourneu.

Možda njemačka predstavnica Angelique Kerber nije u sjajnoj formi, evidentno, no rezultat od 6:0, 6:4 definitivno je "šamarčina" igračici kojoj je naslov u Melbourne Parku najdraži u karijeri. Upravo je ovdje osvojila svoj prvi Grand Slam naslov (2016), a na najvećim svjetskim turnirima slavila je još u Wimbledonu 2018., te na US Openu (2016) - pišu Sportske novosti.

Pera, inače 63. tenisačica svijeta, ovako je govorila u našem intervjuu o svojim potezima u karijeri:

"Zašto sam izabrala SAD? Dok doma nisam imala ni dvoranu, ni prave terene, tamo sam dobila mogućnost ići na turnire uz podršku Američkog saveza, koji je pokrivao sve troškove za trenere.Rođena sam u Zadru, a u SAD sam otišla sa 16 godina zbog boljih uvjeta rada, dok sam državljanstvo imala jer je otac živio i radio u New Jerseyju od 1978. do 1990. kad se vratio u Zadar", otkrila je u razgovoru za SN prošle godine.

Za vrijeme lockdowna bila je u Zadru, da bi se u Zagreb prebacila kad je bilo moguće trenirati. 

"U SAD idem samo na turnire u ožujku te ponovo za ljeto pa sam tamo ukupno 2-3 mjeseca godišnje, dok barem dva mjeseca provodim u Zadru."

Ponekad je htjela i odustati...

"Jako puno puta sam se zapitala koliko sve to ima smisla, ali brzo bi me prošlo jer bih uvijek promislila kako bi bilo glupo odustati od nečega čemu sam posvetila cijeli život. I samo bih nastavila gristi kao što grizem i dalje jer status se vrlo brzo može izgubiti."

Srećom nije, odlično je krenula na Australian Openu...

A kad smo kod Hrvatica koje više ne nastupaju za svoju državu, spomenimo i Ajlu Tomljanović koja je također glatko izborila 2. kolo. Slavila je 6:2, 6:1 protiv Misaki Doi iz Japana.

Bernarda Pera, tenisačica iz Zadra koja je tri godine odlučila izabrati igrati za SAD zbog boljih uvjeta, jedna je od senzacija 1. kola Australian Opena koji je počeo jutros u Melbourneu.

Možda njemačka predstavnica Angelique Kerber nije u sjajnoj formi, evidentno, no rezultat od 6:0, 6:4 definitivno je "šamarčina" igračici kojoj je naslov u Melbourne Parku najdraži u karijeri. Upravo je ovdje osvojila svoj prvi Grand Slam naslov (2016), a na najvećim svjetskim turnirima slavila je još u Wimbledonu 2018., te na US Openu (2016) - pišu Sportske novosti.

Pera, inače 63. tenisačica svijeta, ovako je govorila u našem intervjuu o svojim potezima u karijeri:

"Zašto sam izabrala SAD? Dok doma nisam imala ni dvoranu, ni prave terene, tamo sam dobila mogućnost ići na turnire uz podršku Američkog saveza, koji je pokrivao sve troškove za trenere.Rođena sam u Zadru, a u SAD sam otišla sa 16 godina zbog boljih uvjeta rada, dok sam državljanstvo imala jer je otac živio i radio u New Jerseyju od 1978. do 1990. kad se vratio u Zadar", otkrila je u razgovoru za SN prošle godine.

Za vrijeme lockdowna bila je u Zadru, da bi se u Zagreb prebacila kad je bilo moguće trenirati. 

"U SAD idem samo na turnire u ožujku te ponovo za ljeto pa sam tamo ukupno 2-3 mjeseca godišnje, dok barem dva mjeseca provodim u Zadru."

Ponekad je htjela i odustati...

"Jako puno puta sam se zapitala koliko sve to ima smisla, ali brzo bi me prošlo jer bih uvijek promislila kako bi bilo glupo odustati od nečega čemu sam posvetila cijeli život. I samo bih nastavila gristi kao što grizem i dalje jer status se vrlo brzo može izgubiti."

Srećom nije, odlično je krenula na Australian Openu...

A kad smo kod Hrvatica koje više ne nastupaju za svoju državu, spomenimo i Ajlu Tomljanović koja je također glatko izborila 2. kolo. Slavila je 6:2, 6:1 protiv Misaki Doi iz Japana.

Zadranka Bernarda Pera senzacija prvog kola Australian Opena! Progovorila o tome zašto je otišla iz Hrvatske i igra za SAD

Bernarda Pera, tenisačica iz Zadra koja je tri godine odlučila izabrati igrati za SAD zbog boljih uvjeta, jedna je od senzacija 1. kola Australian Opena koji je počeo jutros u Melbourneu.

Možda njemačka predstavnica Angelique Kerber nije u sjajnoj formi, evidentno, no rezultat od 6:0, 6:4 definitivno je "šamarčina" igračici kojoj je naslov u Melbourne Parku najdraži u karijeri. Upravo je ovdje osvojila svoj prvi Grand Slam naslov (2016), a na najvećim svjetskim turnirima slavila je još u Wimbledonu 2018., te na US Openu (2016) - pišu Sportske novosti.

Pera, inače 63. tenisačica svijeta, ovako je govorila u našem intervjuu o svojim potezima u karijeri:

"Zašto sam izabrala SAD? Dok doma nisam imala ni dvoranu, ni prave terene, tamo sam dobila mogućnost ići na turnire uz podršku Američkog saveza, koji je pokrivao sve troškove za trenere.Rođena sam u Zadru, a u SAD sam otišla sa 16 godina zbog boljih uvjeta rada, dok sam državljanstvo imala jer je otac živio i radio u New Jerseyju od 1978. do 1990. kad se vratio u Zadar", otkrila je u razgovoru za SN prošle godine.

Za vrijeme lockdowna bila je u Zadru, da bi se u Zagreb prebacila kad je bilo moguće trenirati. 

"U SAD idem samo na turnire u ožujku te ponovo za ljeto pa sam tamo ukupno 2-3 mjeseca godišnje, dok barem dva mjeseca provodim u Zadru."

Ponekad je htjela i odustati...

"Jako puno puta sam se zapitala koliko sve to ima smisla, ali brzo bi me prošlo jer bih uvijek promislila kako bi bilo glupo odustati od nečega čemu sam posvetila cijeli život. I samo bih nastavila gristi kao što grizem i dalje jer status se vrlo brzo može izgubiti."

Srećom nije, odlično je krenula na Australian Openu...

A kad smo kod Hrvatica koje više ne nastupaju za svoju državu, spomenimo i Ajlu Tomljanović koja je također glatko izborila 2. kolo. Slavila je 6:2, 6:1 protiv Misaki Doi iz Japana.
