U zagrebačkom hotelu Aristos održana je konferencija za medije na kojoj je sportski direktor i v.d. izbornika reprezentacije Hrvatske Aleksandar Petrović objavio uži popis igrača za pretkvalifikacije za Europsko prvenstvo 2025.

Hrvatsku reprezentaciju očekuju dvije utakmice, 23. veljače protiv Švicarske u Fribourgu, a tri dana kasnije na splitskim Gripama protiv Austrije.

Petrović se za kvalifikacijski ciklus u veljači odlučio za 15 igrača, a okupljanje reprezentacije je odmah po završetku Kupa, koji je na rasporedu ovoga tjedna.

- Zašto 15 igrača? Tijekom godina spoznaš da kada kroz tjedan dana formiraš u trenažnom procesu tri petorke, to bude puno kvalitetnije i svrsishodnije. Kada ih bude 12, 13 ili 14 pola treninga se provede u rotiranju igrača. Nakon konzultacija sa stožerom pozvao sam 15 igrača koji su ovog trenutka u fokusu i dobroj formi - kazao je Petrović.

- Ovdje je 15 igrača da se sve eventualne dileme među njima raščiste na terenu. Treninzi i utakmice će dati, kako meni, tako i nekom budućem izborniku jer svi su treninzi snimani, neke povratne informacije o svakom od igrača - dodao je.

Jedno je iznenađenje možda Tomislav Buljan kojeg je angažirao Joventut, gdje ove sezone igra za njihovu razvojnu momčad El Prat.

- Dečko sjajno igra u Španjolskoj i bio je, uz Menala, najbolji igrač prošlogodišnje U20 reprezentacije te ga želim vidjeti u ovom ozbiljnom okruženju - naglasio je v.d. izbornik.

Reprezentacija će imati dva radna dana treninga u Zagrebu, prije odlaska u švicarski Fribourg u srijedu, 22. veljače. Utakmica je u četvrtak, a potom reprezentacija seli u Split gdje će imati tri treninga i 26. veljače s početkom u 18 sati utakmicu protiv Austrije.

- Ovo je posljednje okupljanje reprezentacije prije nevjerojatno radnog ljeta koje će obuhvaćati 50 dana aktivnosti. Ne vjerujem da će se u ovom prozoru dogoditi neka nevjerojatna iznenađenja, primjerice da Švicarska dobije Poljsku pa da mi zauzmemo prvu poziciju u skupini. Realno je očekivati da nas ovo ljeto očekuju treći krug pretkvalifikacija za Europsko prvenstvo, ali i pretkvalifikacijski Olimpijski turnir - najavio je Petrović.

Prokomentirao je i nedavnu izjavu Bojana Bogdanovića o prestanku igranja za reprezentaciju.

- Planirao sam tijekom trećeg mjeseca otputovati u Ameriku i obići sve igrače koji su tamo. Međutim, moram priznati da me iznenadila medijska reakcija, jer to je bilo apsolutno očekivano i logično. Sljedeće veliko natjecanje za Hrvatsku je praktički Europsko prvenstvo za dvije i pol godine i iluzorno je ovog trenutka od Bojana očekivati ikakvu drugu odluku. S Bojanom imam sjajan odnos i sjest ću ponovno s njim, ali smatram da je ovo bilo očekivano. Logično, ako bi se teorijski plasirali na Olimpijske igre, promjena u razmišljanju Bojana Bogdanovića bi nam dobro došla. Takav profil igrača definitivno treba svakoj iole ozbiljnoj reprezentaciji - zaključio je Petrović.

Nakon četiri odigrana kola na vrhu naše skupine se nalazi Poljska sa skorom 3-1, koliko ima i Hrvatska. Slijede Švicarska (2-2) i Austrija (0-4).

U zagrebačkom hotelu Aristos održana je konferencija za medije na kojoj je sportski direktor i v.d. izbornika reprezentacije Hrvatske Aleksandar Petrović objavio uži popis igrača za pretkvalifikacije za Europsko prvenstvo 2025.

Hrvatsku reprezentaciju očekuju dvije utakmice, 23. veljače protiv Švicarske u Fribourgu, a tri dana kasnije na splitskim Gripama protiv Austrije.

Petrović se za kvalifikacijski ciklus u veljači odlučio za 15 igrača, a okupljanje reprezentacije je odmah po završetku Kupa, koji je na rasporedu ovoga tjedna.

- Zašto 15 igrača? Tijekom godina spoznaš da kada kroz tjedan dana formiraš u trenažnom procesu tri petorke, to bude puno kvalitetnije i svrsishodnije. Kada ih bude 12, 13 ili 14 pola treninga se provede u rotiranju igrača. Nakon konzultacija sa stožerom pozvao sam 15 igrača koji su ovog trenutka u fokusu i dobroj formi - kazao je Petrović.

- Ovdje je 15 igrača da se sve eventualne dileme među njima raščiste na terenu. Treninzi i utakmice će dati, kako meni, tako i nekom budućem izborniku jer svi su treninzi snimani, neke povratne informacije o svakom od igrača - dodao je.

Jedno je iznenađenje možda Tomislav Buljan kojeg je angažirao Joventut, gdje ove sezone igra za njihovu razvojnu momčad El Prat.

- Dečko sjajno igra u Španjolskoj i bio je, uz Menala, najbolji igrač prošlogodišnje U20 reprezentacije te ga želim vidjeti u ovom ozbiljnom okruženju - naglasio je v.d. izbornik.

Reprezentacija će imati dva radna dana treninga u Zagrebu, prije odlaska u švicarski Fribourg u srijedu, 22. veljače. Utakmica je u četvrtak, a potom reprezentacija seli u Split gdje će imati tri treninga i 26. veljače s početkom u 18 sati utakmicu protiv Austrije.

- Ovo je posljednje okupljanje reprezentacije prije nevjerojatno radnog ljeta koje će obuhvaćati 50 dana aktivnosti. Ne vjerujem da će se u ovom prozoru dogoditi neka nevjerojatna iznenađenja, primjerice da Švicarska dobije Poljsku pa da mi zauzmemo prvu poziciju u skupini. Realno je očekivati da nas ovo ljeto očekuju treći krug pretkvalifikacija za Europsko prvenstvo, ali i pretkvalifikacijski Olimpijski turnir - najavio je Petrović.

Prokomentirao je i nedavnu izjavu Bojana Bogdanovića o prestanku igranja za reprezentaciju.

- Planirao sam tijekom trećeg mjeseca otputovati u Ameriku i obići sve igrače koji su tamo. Međutim, moram priznati da me iznenadila medijska reakcija, jer to je bilo apsolutno očekivano i logično. Sljedeće veliko natjecanje za Hrvatsku je praktički Europsko prvenstvo za dvije i pol godine i iluzorno je ovog trenutka od Bojana očekivati ikakvu drugu odluku. S Bojanom imam sjajan odnos i sjest ću ponovno s njim, ali smatram da je ovo bilo očekivano. Logično, ako bi se teorijski plasirali na Olimpijske igre, promjena u razmišljanju Bojana Bogdanovića bi nam dobro došla. Takav profil igrača definitivno treba svakoj iole ozbiljnoj reprezentaciji - zaključio je Petrović.

Nakon četiri odigrana kola na vrhu naše skupine se nalazi Poljska sa skorom 3-1, koliko ima i Hrvatska. Slijede Švicarska (2-2) i Austrija (0-4).

U zagrebačkom hotelu Aristos održana je konferencija za medije na kojoj je sportski direktor i v.d. izbornika reprezentacije Hrvatske Aleksandar Petrović objavio uži popis igrača za pretkvalifikacije za Europsko prvenstvo 2025.

Hrvatsku reprezentaciju očekuju dvije utakmice, 23. veljače protiv Švicarske u Fribourgu, a tri dana kasnije na splitskim Gripama protiv Austrije.

Petrović se za kvalifikacijski ciklus u veljači odlučio za 15 igrača, a okupljanje reprezentacije je odmah po završetku Kupa, koji je na rasporedu ovoga tjedna.

- Zašto 15 igrača? Tijekom godina spoznaš da kada kroz tjedan dana formiraš u trenažnom procesu tri petorke, to bude puno kvalitetnije i svrsishodnije. Kada ih bude 12, 13 ili 14 pola treninga se provede u rotiranju igrača. Nakon konzultacija sa stožerom pozvao sam 15 igrača koji su ovog trenutka u fokusu i dobroj formi - kazao je Petrović.

- Ovdje je 15 igrača da se sve eventualne dileme među njima raščiste na terenu. Treninzi i utakmice će dati, kako meni, tako i nekom budućem izborniku jer svi su treninzi snimani, neke povratne informacije o svakom od igrača - dodao je.

Jedno je iznenađenje možda Tomislav Buljan kojeg je angažirao Joventut, gdje ove sezone igra za njihovu razvojnu momčad El Prat.
