Kako kampanja za američkog predsjednika prelazi u svoju finalnu fazu, sve se manje biraju sredstva kojima će se diskreditirati svog oponenta.
Naime, konzervativci se sve više obrušavaju na Michelle Obamu, suprugu demokratskog kandidata Baracka Obame.
Njezina popularnost već je izvanredna, a ova angažirana 44-godišnja “profesorica-terapeutkinja”, kako je nazivaju, stječe simpatije i povjerenje građana čak i više od svog muža.
To je, očito, zasmetalo konzervativcima, koji su je sustavno počeli napadati. Od posljednjih aduta izvukli su snimku koju su postavili na YouTube gdje Michelle govori: “Prvi put u mom životu ponosna sam na svoju zemlju”.
Barack Obama je komentirao puštanje te snimke kao nedopustivu metodu borbe niskim udarcima. Osim ovoga, preko medija su Michelle nazivali epitetima kao “ogorčena, antiamerička, nezahvalna, bezobrazna, ghetto-žena”...
Kako se pažnja sve više diže s pojedinca na generalnu kampanju, Michelle može biti i prednost i nedostatak za Obamu, navodi magazin Time. Naime, dok Barack govori o obećanjima, Michelle raspravlja o problemima. Glasna je po pitanju manjka pravde, korozivnog cinizma koji je zahvatio društvo, govori o građanima koji su rezignirani i tvrde kako ništa ne mogu napraviti, kako ništa ne funkcionira i kako se ništa ne može promijeniti.
Michelle Obama naprotiv želi diskutirati o stvarima koje se mogu promijeniti i što treba raditi. “Ljudi su umorni od podjela”, riječi su Michelle Obame. “Ljudi žele mir, pravdu, jednakost. Spremni su žrtvovati se za više dobro.”
Šarmantni štit
Mnogi govore da Barack svoju suprugu koristi kao šarmantni štit protiv svih optužbi. Biografija Obame je preegzotična i prestrana za Amerikance pa radije koristi onu svoje žene kako bi prikazao što se može postići u životu, od tradicionalne religiozne radničke obitelji do visokog obrazovanja i uspješne karijere.
Michelle Obama u početku nije zanimala konzervativce, jer je i sama bila konzervativna i držala do tradicionalnih vrijednosti, obitelji, rada, žrtve. Čak se uklapala u viziju bushevske prve dame. No svojim snažnim istupima i govorom o problemima, kao i uključivanjem emocija u kampanju, kod građana Amerike izazvala je novost na političkoj sceni. Kojim će se još sredstvima služiti konzervativci kontra nje, pokazat će se uskoro.

Kako kampanja za američkog predsjednika prelazi u svoju finalnu fazu, sve se manje biraju sredstva kojima će se diskreditirati svog oponenta.
Naime, konzervativci se sve više obrušavaju na Michelle Obamu, suprugu demokratskog kandidata Baracka Obame.
Njezina popularnost već je izvanredna, a ova angažirana 44-godišnja “profesorica-terapeutkinja”, kako je nazivaju, stječe simpatije i povjerenje građana čak i više od svog muža.
To je, očito, zasmetalo konzervativcima, koji su je sustavno počeli napadati. Od posljednjih aduta izvukli su snimku koju su postavili na YouTube gdje Michelle govori: “Prvi put u mom životu ponosna sam na svoju zemlju”.
Barack Obama je komentirao puštanje te snimke kao nedopustivu metodu borbe niskim udarcima. Osim ovoga, preko medija su Michelle nazivali epitetima kao “ogorčena, antiamerička, nezahvalna, bezobrazna, ghetto-žena”...
Kako se pažnja sve više diže s pojedinca na generalnu kampanju, Michelle može biti i prednost i nedostatak za Obamu, navodi magazin Time. Naime, dok Barack govori o obećanjima, Michelle raspravlja o problemima. Glasna je po pitanju manjka pravde, korozivnog cinizma koji je zahvatio društvo, govori o građanima koji su rezignirani i tvrde kako ništa ne mogu napraviti, kako ništa ne funkcionira i kako se ništa ne može promijeniti.
Michelle Obama naprotiv želi diskutirati o stvarima koje se mogu promijeniti i što treba raditi. “Ljudi su umorni od podjela”, riječi su Michelle Obame. “Ljudi žele mir, pravdu, jednakost. Spremni su žrtvovati se za više dobro.”
Šarmantni štit
Mnogi govore da Barack svoju suprugu koristi kao šarmantni štit protiv svih optužbi. Biografija Obame je preegzotična i prestrana za Amerikance pa radije koristi onu svoje žene kako bi prikazao što se može postići u životu, od tradicionalne religiozne radničke obitelji do visokog obrazovanja i uspješne karijere.
Michelle Obama u početku nije zanimala konzervativce, jer je i sama bila konzervativna i držala do tradicionalnih vrijednosti, obitelji, rada, žrtve. Čak se uklapala u viziju bushevske prve dame. No svojim snažnim istupima i govorom o problemima, kao i uključivanjem emocija u kampanju, kod građana Amerike izazvala je novost na političkoj sceni. Kojim će se još sredstvima služiti konzervativci kontra nje, pokazat će se uskoro.
