Fatah palestinskog predsjednika Mahmuda Abasa ponovno je u subotu odgodio izbore za nove čelnike stranke na prvom stranačkom kongresu u posljednjih 20 godina koji se od utorka održava u Betlehemu, doznaje se od stranačkih izvora.

Izbor novog Središnjeg odbora (21 član) i Revolucionarnog vijeća (120) trebao se održati u petak, zatim u subotu, a sada je odgođen za nedjelju ujutro.

Na konferenciji sudjeluje oko 2.000 izaslanika i trebala je trajati tri dana, ali je produžena posebice radi rasprava između stare garde i novih izaslanika koji žele veću ulogu i traže korjenitu reformu stranke.

Fatah je monopolizirao vlast među Palestincima sve do 2006. kada ga je na parlamentarnim izborima pobijedio islamistički Hamas, koji ga je godinu dana kasnije na silu izbacio iz Pojasa Gaze. Sada je vlast Fataha ograničen samo na Zapadnu obalu.

Samo je Abasu osigurana funkcija, dok bi većinu dužnosnika mogle zamijenite nove osobe.

Od početka kongresa iznijete su brojne optužbe prema kojima je Fatah odgovoran za svoje poraze, a optužen je i za brojne afere korupcije.

Fatah će morati prihvatiti i novi politički program. Pokret se zalaže za pregovore s Izraelom o rješenju sukoba, ali će također inzistirati u svom programu na pravu palestinskog naroda na otpor u svim oblicima pri ostvarenju svojih prava, rekao je u petak glasnogovornik pokreta Nabil Šat.

Fatah palestinskog predsjednika Mahmuda Abasa ponovno je u subotu odgodio izbore za nove čelnike stranke na prvom stranačkom kongresu u posljednjih 20 godina koji se od utorka održava u Betlehemu, doznaje se od stranačkih izvora.

Izbor novog Središnjeg odbora (21 član) i Revolucionarnog vijeća (120) trebao se održati u petak, zatim u subotu, a sada je odgođen za nedjelju ujutro.

Na konferenciji sudjeluje oko 2.000 izaslanika i trebala je trajati tri dana, ali je produžena posebice radi rasprava između stare garde i novih izaslanika koji žele veću ulogu i traže korjenitu reformu stranke.

Fatah je monopolizirao vlast među Palestincima sve do 2006. kada ga je na parlamentarnim izborima pobijedio islamistički Hamas, koji ga je godinu dana kasnije na silu izbacio iz Pojasa Gaze. Sada je vlast Fataha ograničen samo na Zapadnu obalu.

Samo je Abasu osigurana funkcija, dok bi većinu dužnosnika mogle zamijenite nove osobe.

Od početka kongresa iznijete su brojne optužbe prema kojima je Fatah odgovoran za svoje poraze, a optužen je i za brojne afere korupcije.

Fatah će morati prihvatiti i novi politički program. Pokret se zalaže za pregovore s Izraelom o rješenju sukoba, ali će također inzistirati u svom programu na pravu palestinskog naroda na otpor u svim oblicima pri ostvarenju svojih prava, rekao je u petak glasnogovornik pokreta Nabil Šat.
