Možda ste primijetili, predsjednika Republike strašno intrigira naobrazba njegova arhineprijatelja Ragnara Strašnog. Kao mačak oko vruće kaše i kiša oko Kragujevca u nekoliko je navrata obilazio oko vikinškog liceja što ga je Boris Dežulović pohađao, kao da zna neku sramnu pojedinost, ali je previše skrupulozan (možeš misliti!) da bi sada kao lajava strina svima okolo rastrubio o čemu se radi. Pa pomozimo potrebitome koji se ženira i nećka, a tako bi rado svima objavio što je negdje načuo, pa rastjerajmo gustu maglu što je nalegla na pitanje Ragnarovih kvalifikacija.

Priča koju vam želim ispričati započinje prije točno trideset godina u tinelu akademika Krune Prijatelja. Naš najveći povjesničar umjetnosti bio je rijetko znatiželjno čeljade širokih interesa, s još širim krugom poznanika i prijatelja, njegovih vršnjaka veteranske dobi, ali i nekoliko desetljeća mlađih ljudi s kojima se rado družio ostajući tako up to date sa svim novitadama. I sâm sam od prilike do prilike znao kod njega svratiti na bićerin i ćakulu. Jednom prilikom zamolio me za uslugu. Ovako je to bilo.

RAFINIRANE PRIMJEDBE

– Vi ste dobri s Dežulovićem? – upitao me.

– A ka jesan. Oli imate neki problem s njin?

– Zapravo imam. Znate, on je bio moj student. Tehnički gledano, još uvijek jest, iako za to nema nikakvog razloga.

– Skužajte, sad san vas malo pogubija – s nelagodom sam priznao.

– On je napisao diplomski.

– Aha, slutin di to vodi. Biće ga natipka priko neke stvari i na brzinu, a vi mu ne želite službeno dat trisku, nego biste tili da napiše novu, bolju verziju, pa oćete da ga nagovorin?

– Ma kakvi! Rad mu je odličan. Zapravo ga je šteta potrošiti kao diplomski kad bi mogao biti odličan magistarski.

– Pa u čemu je onda problem?

– U Dežuloviću kao takvom.

Kruno Prijatelj bio je čovjek rafiniranih manira. Nikad ga nisam vidio bez kravate, a pamtim da mi se jednom ispričavao jer mi je otvorio vrata – zamislite sramote! – s labavo vezanim čvorom kularine. Klonio se teških riječi i uvreda, no siguran sam da se tada jedva borio s porivom da budućeg Ragnara opiše kratkom rečenicom uz njemu svojstveni šarmantni šprahfeler: "On je kleten!" Ipak, ostao je na visini svoje reputacije i biranim riječima naznačio problem.

– On ne želi obraniti diplomski. Ne pitajte me zašto, to ne bih razumio ni da se tri puta rodim. Sve je napravio kako treba, od diplome ga dijeli trivijalna procedura obrane, ma ni sat vremena razgovora sa mnom i s još jednim članom komisije, ali on neće pa neće.

– I vi mislite da bi ga ja moga nagovorit?

– Čisto sumnjam da to itko može. Težak je on slučaj, puno težak. Ali mi je zato nešto drugo palo na pamet.

– Slušan.

– Mogli biste jedan dan s njim svratiti kod mene na bićerin. Znam da mu nisam mrzak i pretpostavljam da neće odbiti poziv na piće kod starog profesora, to prije kad ste vi s njim u društvu. Vi mu možete poslužiti kao osigurač da se razgovor neće pretvoriti u dosadno predavanje o povijesti umjetnosti.

SAVRŠENI PLAN

– Oću, rado, samo ne razumin kako to može riješit vaš odnosno njegov problem.

– Jednostavno. Vi me samo obavijestite dan ranije da ja stignem dogovoriti dolazak još jednog člana diplomske komisije. Nigdje ne piše gdje se rad mora braniti. Ako je dobar moj kabinet na fakultetu, dobra je, valjda, i moja radna soba u stanu. A pretpostavljam da Dežulović, kad shvati da smo ga namamili u zamku, neće napraviti cirkus pa pobjeći. Ipak nije baš toliko... no... osebujan. Sat vremena kasnije imat ćemo novog diplomiranog povjesničara umjetnosti. On će vas možda neko vrijeme mrziti, ali to će ga brzo proći.

Plan je zaista bio savršen. Nažalost, to nije bio i njegov izvršitelj. Umjesto da se držim šjor Kruninih uputa, Bori sam prostodušno priznao da se radi o prijateljskoj spački. Njega ona, međutim, nije ganula, nego iznervirala i nikad nije došao kod profesora na bićerin, što mu ja do danas nisam oprostio.

– Okej, nećeš diplomu, to ne dolazi u obzir, ma ni slučajno! I nema veze šta si potrošija četri godine i napisa diplomski koji bi svugdi proša ka magisterij. Tebi se, jebiga, ne da, draže ti je ostat srednja stručna sprema. A šta ćeš jednoga dana kad ti se neki kreten s jalovon diplomon od nježnika, koju može komotno vratit u tuljac i onda je sebi nabit u dupe, počne rugat da si gimnazijalac? Šta ćeš onda, a? – retorički sam ga upitao, na što mi je Boro ovako odgovorio:

– Ka da me je briga šta kreten misli i govori.

Pamtim da me je ta rečenica tada strašno razbjesnila. Danas, pak, shvaćam da je Ragnar bio u pravu. Frigaj ti diplomu čiji je jedini smisao da se iza nje skloniš od predsjednikove pljuvačke.

Možda ste primijetili, predsjednika Republike strašno intrigira naobrazba njegova arhineprijatelja Ragnara Strašnog. Kao mačak oko vruće kaše i kiša oko Kragujevca u nekoliko je navrata obilazio oko vikinškog liceja što ga je Boris Dežulović pohađao, kao da zna neku sramnu pojedinost, ali je previše skrupulozan (možeš misliti!) da bi sada kao lajava strina svima okolo rastrubio o čemu se radi. Pa pomozimo potrebitome koji se ženira i nećka, a tako bi rado svima objavio što je negdje načuo, pa rastjerajmo gustu maglu što je nalegla na pitanje Ragnarovih kvalifikacija.

Priča koju vam želim ispričati započinje prije točno trideset godina u tinelu akademika Krune Prijatelja. Naš najveći povjesničar umjetnosti bio je rijetko znatiželjno čeljade širokih interesa, s još širim krugom poznanika i prijatelja, njegovih vršnjaka veteranske dobi, ali i nekoliko desetljeća mlađih ljudi s kojima se rado družio ostajući tako up to date sa svim novitadama. I sâm sam od prilike do prilike znao kod njega svratiti na bićerin i ćakulu. Jednom prilikom zamolio me za uslugu. Ovako je to bilo.

RAFINIRANE PRIMJEDBE

– Vi ste dobri s Dežulovićem? – upitao me.

– A ka jesan. Oli imate neki problem s njin?

– Zapravo imam. Znate, on je bio moj student. Tehnički gledano, još uvijek jest, iako za to nema nikakvog razloga.

– Skužajte, sad san vas malo pogubija – s nelagodom sam priznao.

– On je napisao diplomski.

– Aha, slutin di to vodi. Biće ga natipka priko neke stvari i na brzinu, a vi mu ne želite službeno dat trisku, nego biste tili da napiše novu, bolju verziju, pa oćete da ga nagovorin?

– Ma kakvi! Rad mu je odličan. Zapravo ga je šteta potrošiti kao diplomski kad bi mogao biti odličan magistarski.

– Pa u čemu je onda problem?

– U Dežuloviću kao takvom.

Kruno Prijatelj bio je čovjek rafiniranih manira. Nikad ga nisam vidio bez kravate, a pamtim da mi se jednom ispričavao jer mi je otvorio vrata – zamislite sramote! – s labavo vezanim čvorom kularine. Klonio se teških riječi i uvreda, no siguran sam da se tada jedva borio s porivom da budućeg Ragnara opiše kratkom rečenicom uz njemu svojstveni šarmantni šprahfeler: "On je kleten!" Ipak, ostao je na visini svoje reputacije i biranim riječima naznačio problem.

– On ne želi obraniti diplomski. Ne pitajte me zašto, to ne bih razumio ni da se tri puta rodim. Sve je napravio kako treba, od diplome ga dijeli trivijalna procedura obrane, ma ni sat vremena razgovora sa mnom i s još jednim članom komisije, ali on neće pa neće.

– I vi mislite da bi ga ja moga nagovorit?

– Čisto sumnjam da to itko može. Težak je on slučaj, puno težak. Ali mi je zato nešto drugo palo na pamet.

– Slušan.

– Mogli biste jedan dan s njim svratiti kod mene na bićerin. Znam da mu nisam mrzak i pretpostavljam da neće odbiti poziv na piće kod starog profesora, to prije kad ste vi s njim u društvu. Vi mu možete poslužiti kao osigurač da se razgovor neće pretvoriti u dosadno predavanje o povijesti umjetnosti.

SAVRŠENI PLAN

– Oću, rado, samo ne razumin kako to može riješit vaš odnosno njegov problem.

– Jednostavno. Vi me samo obavijestite dan ranije da ja stignem dogovoriti dolazak još jednog člana diplomske komisije. Nigdje ne piše gdje se rad mora braniti. Ako je dobar moj kabinet na fakultetu, dobra je, valjda, i moja radna soba u stanu. A pretpostavljam da Dežulović, kad shvati da smo ga namamili u zamku, neće napraviti cirkus pa pobjeći. Ipak nije baš toliko... no... osebujan. Sat vremena kasnije imat ćemo novog diplomiranog povjesničara umjetnosti. On će vas možda neko vrijeme mrziti, ali to će ga brzo proći.

Plan je zaista bio savršen. Nažalost, to nije bio i njegov izvršitelj. Umjesto da se držim šjor Kruninih uputa, Bori sam prostodušno priznao da se radi o prijateljskoj spački. Njega ona, međutim, nije ganula, nego iznervirala i nikad nije došao kod profesora na bićerin, što mu ja do danas nisam oprostio.

– Okej, nećeš diplomu, to ne dolazi u obzir, ma ni slučajno! I nema veze šta si potrošija četri godine i napisa diplomski koji bi svugdi proša ka magisterij. Tebi se, jebiga, ne da, draže ti je ostat srednja stručna sprema. A šta ćeš jednoga dana kad ti se neki kreten s jalovon diplomon od nježnika, koju može komotno vratit u tuljac i onda je sebi nabit u dupe, počne rugat da si gimnazijalac? Šta ćeš onda, a? – retorički sam ga upitao, na što mi je Boro ovako odgovorio:

– Ka da me je briga šta kreten misli i govori.

Pamtim da me je ta rečenica tada strašno razbjesnila. Danas, pak, shvaćam da je Ragnar bio u pravu. Frigaj ti diplomu čiji je jedini smisao da se iza nje skloniš od predsjednikove pljuvačke.
