Direktor Turističke zajednice Splitsko-dalmatinske županije Joško Stella bio je gost Novog dana na N1 televiziji. Govorio je o situaciji u turizmu koji je pogođen epidemijom koronavirusa, kao i hoće li doći do eventualnog snižavanja cijena za domaće turiste na Jadranu.

Stella je kazao kako je udarac do sada velik, ali ne toliko s obzirom na to da se radi o samoj predsezoni. "Onaj pravi udarac tek slijedi", smatra.

Ističe kako očekuju da bi se u 8. mjesecu mogao dogoditi neki veći priljev turista.

"Naravno, moguće je i da ne bude turističke sezone. Naša Vlada i naš Stožer su napravili maksimalno da zaustavimo širenje ovog virusa. Molim sve da ostanu doma i da se drže mjera i u toj situaciji će naš turizam imati prednost pred drugima", rekao je Stella.

Kako će izgledati turistička sezona u doba koronavirusa?

"Tu se doista treba konzultirati s epidemiolozima koji trebaju definirati pravila igre odnosno kako će se ponašati hotelijeri, ugostitelji,... Imamo 600 do 700 tisuća kreveta u privatnom smještaju, a gotovo 200 tisuća od toga u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji koji ne trebaju preveliku pripremu. Mislim da ćemo biti spremni u trenutku otvaranja. Znat će se to dosta prije i bit će vrijeme za pripremu.

Upitan koliko je Hrvatskoj prednost to što smo autodestinacija, Stella odgovara: "Pomaže nam jer dosta zemalja koje su naša tradicionalna tržišta su autodestinacije, iako mislim da će proraditi i aviolinije. I aviokompanije jedva čekaju da se uspostavi normalni ekonomski promet".

Hoće li se snižavati cijene smještaja i usluga za domaće turiste?

"Da bude jasno svima, mi sada očekujemo između 10 i 25 posto turizma kojeg smo imali proteklih godina. Sigurno da je naš turizam strukturiran prije svega prema stranim turistima, ali može se prilagoditi i domaćim turistima. S terena imamo situacija da čak dolaze rezervacije u punoj sezoni i za punu sezonu još nema otkazivanja. S cijenama nema nekih mijenjanja, mada svi očekuju da će se to dogoditi kad krene otvaranje", kazao je Stella za N1.

Smatra kako je vrlo bitno da imamo dio sezone, ma koliko on mali bio zbog svih ljudi koji su u sektoru turizma.

"Svima je jasno da priželjkujemo da iduća sezona bude puno bolja od ove", ističe.

"Mislim da će se najbrže prilagoditi oni u privatnom smještaju, za razliku od ugostitelja, hotelijera i ostalih. Što se prije držimo pravila, prije će sve ovo završiti", poručio je zaključno Stella.

Direktor Turističke zajednice Splitsko-dalmatinske županije Joško Stella bio je gost Novog dana na N1 televiziji. Govorio je o situaciji u turizmu koji je pogođen epidemijom koronavirusa, kao i hoće li doći do eventualnog snižavanja cijena za domaće turiste na Jadranu.

Stella je kazao kako je udarac do sada velik, ali ne toliko s obzirom na to da se radi o samoj predsezoni. "Onaj pravi udarac tek slijedi", smatra.

Ističe kako očekuju da bi se u 8. mjesecu mogao dogoditi neki veći priljev turista.

"Naravno, moguće je i da ne bude turističke sezone. Naša Vlada i naš Stožer su napravili maksimalno da zaustavimo širenje ovog virusa. Molim sve da ostanu doma i da se drže mjera i u toj situaciji će naš turizam imati prednost pred drugima", rekao je Stella.

Kako će izgledati turistička sezona u doba koronavirusa?

"Tu se doista treba konzultirati s epidemiolozima koji trebaju definirati pravila igre odnosno kako će se ponašati hotelijeri, ugostitelji,... Imamo 600 do 700 tisuća kreveta u privatnom smještaju, a gotovo 200 tisuća od toga u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji koji ne trebaju preveliku pripremu. Mislim da ćemo biti spremni u trenutku otvaranja. Znat će se to dosta prije i bit će vrijeme za pripremu.

Upitan koliko je Hrvatskoj prednost to što smo autodestinacija, Stella odgovara: "Pomaže nam jer dosta zemalja koje su naša tradicionalna tržišta su autodestinacije, iako mislim da će proraditi i aviolinije. I aviokompanije jedva čekaju da se uspostavi normalni ekonomski promet".

Hoće li se snižavati cijene smještaja i usluga za domaće turiste?

"Da bude jasno svima, mi sada očekujemo između 10 i 25 posto turizma kojeg smo imali proteklih godina. Sigurno da je naš turizam strukturiran prije svega prema stranim turistima, ali može se prilagoditi i domaćim turistima. S terena imamo situacija da čak dolaze rezervacije u punoj sezoni i za punu sezonu još nema otkazivanja. S cijenama nema nekih mijenjanja, mada svi očekuju da će se to dogoditi kad krene otvaranje", kazao je Stella za N1.

Smatra kako je vrlo bitno da imamo dio sezone, ma koliko on mali bio zbog svih ljudi koji su u sektoru turizma.

"Svima je jasno da priželjkujemo da iduća sezona bude puno bolja od ove", ističe.

"Mislim da će se najbrže prilagoditi oni u privatnom smještaju, za razliku od ugostitelja, hotelijera i ostalih. Što se prije držimo pravila, prije će sve ovo završiti", poručio je zaključno Stella.

Direktor Turističke zajednice Splitsko-dalmatinske županije Joško Stella bio je gost Novog dana na N1 televiziji. Govorio je o situaciji u turizmu koji je pogođen epidemijom koronavirusa, kao i hoće li doći do eventualnog snižavanja cijena za domaće turiste na Jadranu.

Stella je kazao kako je udarac do sada velik, ali ne toliko s obzirom na to da se radi o samoj predsezoni. "Onaj pravi udarac tek slijedi", smatra.

Ističe kako očekuju da bi se u 8. mjesecu mogao dogoditi neki veći priljev turista.

"Naravno, moguće je i da ne bude turističke sezone. Naša Vlada i naš Stožer su napravili maksimalno da zaustavimo širenje ovog virusa. Molim sve da ostanu doma i da se drže mjera i u toj situaciji će naš turizam imati prednost pred drugima", rekao je Stella.
