Drugog četvrtka u listopadu obilježava se Svjetski dan vida, podiže se na taj dan svijest o važnosti pregleda vida i prevenciji sljepoće i slabovidnosti.

Sa slabovidnom osobom Markom Klarićem, koji ima 33 godine, razgovarali smo i 2016. godine, kada je upisivao drugi po redu fakultet. Dao je tada obećanje da će ga završiti ako ga posluži zdravlje. I ispunio ga je.

Sada ima dvije diplome, jednu s Teologije na splitskom KBF-u, a drugu odnosa s javnošću s Dubrovačkog sveučilišta. Posebno je, kaže, ponosan na temu svoga diplomskog rada "Utjecaj migracija i terorizma na sigurnost na primjeru Republike Hrvatske i Bosne i Hercegovine". No, njegov vid za vrijeme studiranja pao je na samo deset posto.

– Moja startna pozicija bila je u podređenom položaju, ali kao slabovidna osoba pronašao sam način da sebi olakšam učenje. No, nikad nisam prezao od toga da biram teži put i idem njime jer sam htio ostvariti ono što volim. Poduzeo sam sve što sam mogao da uložim u sebe i pokažem da slabovidne osobe mogu uspjeti u društvu i obrazovnom sustavu, unatoč predviđanjima da ću biti telefonist – kazuje nam.

Slabovidnost nije jednoznačan pojam

Sada, u povodu Svjetskog dana vida, ukazuje na činjenicu da bi sustav trebao omogućiti sigurnost slabovidnim osobama na tržištu rada. Pisao je tako Uredu predsjednika Hrvatskog sabora kako bi upozorio na neadekvatan status slabovidnih osoba u mirovinskom sustavu. Predložio im je uvrštavanje slabovidnih osoba u kategoriju osiguranika – osoba s invaliditetom. Ured je proslijedio prijedlog Ministarstvu rada, mirovinskog sustava, obitelji i socijalne politike, i dobio odbijenicu.

"Prema mišljenju medicinskih stručnjaka, vještaka i viših vještaka Zavoda za vještačenje, nisu utvrđeni opravdani medicinski razlozi za uvrštavanje slabovidnih osoba u kategoriju osiguranika – osoba s invaliditetom", stoji u odgovoru.

U dopisu koji potpisuje ministar Josip Aladrović dalje piše da se rano detektirana slabovidnost uspješno liječi. Međutim, Klarić ukazuje na to da postoje i odrasle slabovidne osobe koje nemaju mogućnost prevencije.

– Slabovidnost nije jednoznačan pojam. Postoji jasna klasifikacija što su visokoslabovidni, srednje slabovidni i niskoslabovidni. Zašto se barem visokoslabovidne osobe ne bi uvrstile u Zakon o stažu s povećanim trajanjem. Meni je vid s 40 pao na 20 posto. Sada, zbog učenja i napora, moj je na 10 posto – objašnjava Klarić.

Iz Ministarstva u dopisu navode da se ne može zanemariti izbor zanimanja koja će biti dobro prilagođena pojedinim sposobnostima, jer slabovidne osobe danas imaju na raspolaganju cijeli niz pomagala i prilagodbi radnih mjesta, tako da mogu i usprkos svom zdravstvenom stanju, koje uzrokuje trajne posljedice za život i rad, uspješno raditi na dobro odabranom radnom mjestu.

Dodatne barijere

– To znači da bi se trebali snaći i na otvorenom tržištu rada koje traži maksimalan profit i maksimalan angažman, sami egzistirati i pokušati opstati. Je li sustav tu da nas štiti, da očuva zdravlje? Je li struka tu da se bavi prevencijom ili da nam stavlja dodatne barijere? Mi možemo naći adekvatno zanimanje, ali adekvatno mogu naći i osobe s drugim invaliditetima koje su uvrštene u Zakon. Zašto je to kod nas iznimka? – postavlja pitanje Klarić.

Ministru Aladroviću postavio je pitanje što Svjetski dan vida znači u kontekstu zakonske zaštite slabovidnih, prevencije zdravlja i postoji li način da se sa slabovidnima i strukom nađe zajednički jezik.

– Jedan od problema zašto smo kao društvo indiferentni i zašto ne dolazi do promjena jest upravo to što vjerujemo da se promjena ne može dogoditi. Kada bi svatko na vlastitu području zauzeo stav i smatrao da se ne bori protiv vjetrenjača, nego da može postići uspjeh, došlo bi do promjene – ističe Marko na kraju.

Drugog četvrtka u listopadu obilježava se Svjetski dan vida, podiže se na taj dan svijest o važnosti pregleda vida i prevenciji sljepoće i slabovidnosti.

Sa slabovidnom osobom Markom Klarićem, koji ima 33 godine, razgovarali smo i 2016. godine, kada je upisivao drugi po redu fakultet. Dao je tada obećanje da će ga završiti ako ga posluži zdravlje. I ispunio ga je.

Sada ima dvije diplome, jednu s Teologije na splitskom KBF-u, a drugu odnosa s javnošću s Dubrovačkog sveučilišta. Posebno je, kaže, ponosan na temu svoga diplomskog rada "Utjecaj migracija i terorizma na sigurnost na primjeru Republike Hrvatske i Bosne i Hercegovine". No, njegov vid za vrijeme studiranja pao je na samo deset posto.

– Moja startna pozicija bila je u podređenom položaju, ali kao slabovidna osoba pronašao sam način da sebi olakšam učenje. No, nikad nisam prezao od toga da biram teži put i idem njime jer sam htio ostvariti ono što volim. Poduzeo sam sve što sam mogao da uložim u sebe i pokažem da slabovidne osobe mogu uspjeti u društvu i obrazovnom sustavu, unatoč predviđanjima da ću biti telefonist – kazuje nam.

Slabovidnost nije jednoznačan pojam

Sada, u povodu Svjetskog dana vida, ukazuje na činjenicu da bi sustav trebao omogućiti sigurnost slabovidnim osobama na tržištu rada. Pisao je tako Uredu predsjednika Hrvatskog sabora kako bi upozorio na neadekvatan status slabovidnih osoba u mirovinskom sustavu. Predložio im je uvrštavanje slabovidnih osoba u kategoriju osiguranika – osoba s invaliditetom. Ured je proslijedio prijedlog Ministarstvu rada, mirovinskog sustava, obitelji i socijalne politike, i dobio odbijenicu.

"Prema mišljenju medicinskih stručnjaka, vještaka i viših vještaka Zavoda za vještačenje, nisu utvrđeni opravdani medicinski razlozi za uvrštavanje slabovidnih osoba u kategoriju osiguranika – osoba s invaliditetom", stoji u odgovoru.

U dopisu koji potpisuje ministar Josip Aladrović dalje piše da se rano detektirana slabovidnost uspješno liječi. Međutim, Klarić ukazuje na to da postoje i odrasle slabovidne osobe koje nemaju mogućnost prevencije.

– Slabovidnost nije jednoznačan pojam. Postoji jasna klasifikacija što su visokoslabovidni, srednje slabovidni i niskoslabovidni. Zašto se barem visokoslabovidne osobe ne bi uvrstile u Zakon o stažu s povećanim trajanjem. Meni je vid s 40 pao na 20 posto. Sada, zbog učenja i napora, moj je na 10 posto – objašnjava Klarić.

Iz Ministarstva u dopisu navode da se ne može zanemariti izbor zanimanja koja će biti dobro prilagođena pojedinim sposobnostima, jer slabovidne osobe danas imaju na raspolaganju cijeli niz pomagala i prilagodbi radnih mjesta, tako da mogu i usprkos svom zdravstvenom stanju, koje uzrokuje trajne posljedice za život i rad, uspješno raditi na dobro odabranom radnom mjestu.

Dodatne barijere

– To znači da bi se trebali snaći i na otvorenom tržištu rada koje traži maksimalan profit i maksimalan angažman, sami egzistirati i pokušati opstati. Je li sustav tu da nas štiti, da očuva zdravlje? Je li struka tu da se bavi prevencijom ili da nam stavlja dodatne barijere? Mi možemo naći adekvatno zanimanje, ali adekvatno mogu naći i osobe s drugim invaliditetima koje su uvrštene u Zakon. Zašto je to kod nas iznimka? – postavlja pitanje Klarić.

Ministru Aladroviću postavio je pitanje što Svjetski dan vida znači u kontekstu zakonske zaštite slabovidnih, prevencije zdravlja i postoji li način da se sa slabovidnima i strukom nađe zajednički jezik.

– Jedan od problema zašto smo kao društvo indiferentni i zašto ne dolazi do promjena jest upravo to što vjerujemo da se promjena ne može dogoditi. Kada bi svatko na vlastitu području zauzeo stav i smatrao da se ne bori protiv vjetrenjača, nego da može postići uspjeh, došlo bi do promjene – ističe Marko na kraju.
