Ulica bana Josipa Jelačića na Šubićevcu odavno je prometno problematična, a zbog neprilagođene brzine kojom vozači njome često prolaze. Riječ je o gusto naseljenom kvartu, u kojeg mnogi nerijetko zalaze i zbog tamošnjih ugostiteljskih objekata, trgovina, kozmetičkih, zdravstvenih ili inih usluga. Spomenuta ulica prolazi i točno kraj Osnovne škole Petra Krešimira IV i samog nogometnog stadiona, a na kojem svakodnevno treniraju i najmlađi.
Upravo na inicijativu i pritisak djelatnika škole, ali i predstavnika Gradske četvrti Šubićevac, šibenska je gradska uprava, uz suglasnost policije, nedavno na pješačkim prijelazima između škole i stadiona postavila prometne uspornike, odnosno ležeće policajce, takozvane ‘Berlinske jastuke‘.

Na tom je potezu relativno nedavno prvotno postavljena i vertikalna signalizacija, odnosno automatski mjerači brzina koji upozoravaju da se vozi bržom brzinom od dozvoljene, a upravo s ciljem da vozači brzinu kretanja smanje, budući da se približavaju školi. No, taj potez, govori nam Joško Jurić, pročelnik Upravnog odjela za komunalne djelatnosti - nije urodio plodom.
- Postavljanje uspornika zaista je uvijek zadnja mjera, na tom smo potezu pokušali sve prije njihovih postavljanja, no ništa vozače nije ‘smirilo‘. Taj je dio posebno osjetljiv jer su se dogodile prometne nesreće u kojima su zbog prevelike brzine stradala upravo djeca, stoga smo se na zahtjev Osnovne škole i Gradske četvrti Šubićevac odlučili za ovaj potez. Ni prethodno postavljena vertikalna signalizacija nije dala ploda, stoga je ovo bila krajnja mjera i koliko imam prilku čuti, puno je zadovoljnih, a posebice roditelja - ističe Jurić, dodavši kako su ovakvi uspornici postavljeni s namjerom da se gradskim autobusima, vozilima hitnih službi, kombija i slično, omogući neometano prometovanje, odnosno da se ne ‘tresu‘ prelaskom preko njih.

I građani većinom ovu odluku pozdravljaju, posebice roditelji osnovnoškolaca i malih nogometnih nada, no neki se pitaju zašto prethodno nije postavljen znak upozorenja da se približavaju usporniku, a sporna im je i sama visina, odnosno dimenzija postavljenih ležećih policajaca, zbog čega bi oni koji svakodnevno prolaze tim dijelom svog limenog ljubimca mogli početi češće slati automehaničaru.
- To vjerojatno kažu oni koji ne poštuju već postojeća prometna pravila i znakove - odgovara im pročelnik komunalnih djelatnosti.

Ulica bana Josipa Jelačića na Šubićevcu odavno je prometno problematična, a zbog neprilagođene brzine kojom vozači njome često prolaze. Riječ je o gusto naseljenom kvartu, u kojeg mnogi nerijetko zalaze i zbog tamošnjih ugostiteljskih objekata, trgovina, kozmetičkih, zdravstvenih ili inih usluga. Spomenuta ulica prolazi i točno kraj Osnovne škole Petra Krešimira IV i samog nogometnog stadiona, a na kojem svakodnevno treniraju i najmlađi.
Upravo na inicijativu i pritisak djelatnika škole, ali i predstavnika Gradske četvrti Šubićevac, šibenska je gradska uprava, uz suglasnost policije, nedavno na pješačkim prijelazima između škole i stadiona postavila prometne uspornike, odnosno ležeće policajce, takozvane ‘Berlinske jastuke‘.

Na tom je potezu relativno nedavno prvotno postavljena i vertikalna signalizacija, odnosno automatski mjerači brzina koji upozoravaju da se vozi bržom brzinom od dozvoljene, a upravo s ciljem da vozači brzinu kretanja smanje, budući da se približavaju školi. No, taj potez, govori nam Joško Jurić, pročelnik Upravnog odjela za komunalne djelatnosti - nije urodio plodom.
- Postavljanje uspornika zaista je uvijek zadnja mjera, na tom smo potezu pokušali sve prije njihovih postavljanja, no ništa vozače nije ‘smirilo‘. Taj je dio posebno osjetljiv jer su se dogodile prometne nesreće u kojima su zbog prevelike brzine stradala upravo djeca, stoga smo se na zahtjev Osnovne škole i Gradske četvrti Šubićevac odlučili za ovaj potez. Ni prethodno postavljena vertikalna signalizacija nije dala ploda, stoga je ovo bila krajnja mjera i koliko imam prilku čuti, puno je zadovoljnih, a posebice roditelja - ističe Jurić, dodavši kako su ovakvi uspornici postavljeni s namjerom da se gradskim autobusima, vozilima hitnih službi, kombija i slično, omogući neometano prometovanje, odnosno da se ne ‘tresu‘ prelaskom preko njih.

I građani većinom ovu odluku pozdravljaju, posebice roditelji osnovnoškolaca i malih nogometnih nada, no neki se pitaju zašto prethodno nije postavljen znak upozorenja da se približavaju usporniku, a sporna im je i sama visina, odnosno dimenzija postavljenih ležećih policajaca, zbog čega bi oni koji svakodnevno prolaze tim dijelom svog limenog ljubimca mogli početi češće slati automehaničaru.
- To vjerojatno kažu oni koji ne poštuju već postojeća prometna pravila i znakove - odgovara im pročelnik komunalnih djelatnosti.
