Glazbena knjižara Rockmark objavila je autobiografiju Mate Škugora "Glazba za Žedno uho", životnu ispovijest jednog od najvažnijih glazbenih promotora u Hrvatskoj u kojoj otkriva kako se "zarazio" glazbom te kako je ta ljubav prerasla u ozbiljan posao.

Mate Škugor glazbeni je promotor koji je s organizacijom koncerata počeo još u studentskim danima. Dvadeset i pet godina kasnije iza njega su festivali Žedno uho i NO Jazz, Terraneo i SuperUho, te više od tisuću organiziranih koncerata koji su mijenjali kulturnu sliku Zagreba, Šibenika, Hrvatske i šire.

Kako se ističe u najavi, "Glazba za Žedno uho" Škugorova je ispovijest o odrastanju u rodnom Šibeniku, stasanju u Zagrebu i albumima koji su mu pritom pravili društvo i mijenjali život.

"Na više od 350 stranica, kroz osobnu, neposrednu i razigranu priču doznat ćete kako su ljubav i strast prema glazbi prerasli u ozbiljan posao i kako je heroje s omiljenih mu albuma dovodio na pozornice želeći sa što je više ljudi moguće podijeliti ono isto ushićenje koje je osjetio kada ih je prvi puta čuo", stoji u najavi.

Uz zanimljiva podsjećanja na koncertne, kao i na zgode iza scene, mimo glazbenog narativa otkrivat ćete i lice i naličje društva i njegov odnos prema glazbi i kulturi općenito, dodaje se.

Knjiga je ispunjena fotografijama autentičnih materijala, poput kazeta čije je omote Škugor iscrtavao krajem osamdesetih, ili pak najranijih plakata za slušaonice, koji su nastajali izrezivanjem fotografija i logotipova bendova, lijepljenjem na podlogu, a potom fotokopiranjem, ali i onih koje je dizajnirao za standardni tisak.

Naslovnicu knjige krasi bicikl koji je Škugor 12 godina koristio za svakodnevno plakatiranje Zagreba i kojem se nakon više od 100.000 prijeđenih kilometara okvir raspao uslijed "zamora materijala".

U predgovoru knjige glazbeni novinar Aleksandar Dragaš podsjeća da je Škugor "jedan od naših najznačajnijih i najistaknutijih menadžera u kulturi bez čijeg bi doprinosa kulturni i društveni život Zagreba i Hrvatske od kasnih ’90-ih do pandemije korone bio bitno siromašniji i jadniji".

S njime će se u pogovoru složiti i Boris Jokić koji kaže "da tvrdoglavi Mate Škugor nije bio hrabriji od drugih, Zagreb nikada ne bi bio mjesto gdje bi se mogla čuti ponajbolja svjetska suvremena glazba".

Glazbena knjižara Rockmark objavila je autobiografiju Mate Škugora "Glazba za Žedno uho", životnu ispovijest jednog od najvažnijih glazbenih promotora u Hrvatskoj u kojoj otkriva kako se "zarazio" glazbom te kako je ta ljubav prerasla u ozbiljan posao.

Mate Škugor glazbeni je promotor koji je s organizacijom koncerata počeo još u studentskim danima. Dvadeset i pet godina kasnije iza njega su festivali Žedno uho i NO Jazz, Terraneo i SuperUho, te više od tisuću organiziranih koncerata koji su mijenjali kulturnu sliku Zagreba, Šibenika, Hrvatske i šire.

Kako se ističe u najavi, "Glazba za Žedno uho" Škugorova je ispovijest o odrastanju u rodnom Šibeniku, stasanju u Zagrebu i albumima koji su mu pritom pravili društvo i mijenjali život.

"Na više od 350 stranica, kroz osobnu, neposrednu i razigranu priču doznat ćete kako su ljubav i strast prema glazbi prerasli u ozbiljan posao i kako je heroje s omiljenih mu albuma dovodio na pozornice želeći sa što je više ljudi moguće podijeliti ono isto ushićenje koje je osjetio kada ih je prvi puta čuo", stoji u najavi.

Uz zanimljiva podsjećanja na koncertne, kao i na zgode iza scene, mimo glazbenog narativa otkrivat ćete i lice i naličje društva i njegov odnos prema glazbi i kulturi općenito, dodaje se.

Knjiga je ispunjena fotografijama autentičnih materijala, poput kazeta čije je omote Škugor iscrtavao krajem osamdesetih, ili pak najranijih plakata za slušaonice, koji su nastajali izrezivanjem fotografija i logotipova bendova, lijepljenjem na podlogu, a potom fotokopiranjem, ali i onih koje je dizajnirao za standardni tisak.

Naslovnicu knjige krasi bicikl koji je Škugor 12 godina koristio za svakodnevno plakatiranje Zagreba i kojem se nakon više od 100.000 prijeđenih kilometara okvir raspao uslijed "zamora materijala".

U predgovoru knjige glazbeni novinar Aleksandar Dragaš podsjeća da je Škugor "jedan od naših najznačajnijih i najistaknutijih menadžera u kulturi bez čijeg bi doprinosa kulturni i društveni život Zagreba i Hrvatske od kasnih ’90-ih do pandemije korone bio bitno siromašniji i jadniji".

S njime će se u pogovoru složiti i Boris Jokić koji kaže "da tvrdoglavi Mate Škugor nije bio hrabriji od drugih, Zagreb nikada ne bi bio mjesto gdje bi se mogla čuti ponajbolja svjetska suvremena glazba".

Glazbena knjižara Rockmark objavila je autobiografiju Mate Škugora "Glazba za Žedno uho", životnu ispovijest jednog od najvažnijih glazbenih promotora u Hrvatskoj u kojoj otkriva kako se "zarazio" glazbom te kako je ta ljubav prerasla u ozbiljan posao.

Mate Škugor glazbeni je promotor koji je s organizacijom koncerata počeo još u studentskim danima. Dvadeset i pet godina kasnije iza njega su festivali Žedno uho i NO Jazz, Terraneo i SuperUho, te više od tisuću organiziranih koncerata koji su mijenjali kulturnu sliku Zagreba, Šibenika, Hrvatske i šire.

Kako se ističe u najavi, "Glazba za Žedno uho" Škugorova je ispovijest o odrastanju u rodnom Šibeniku, stasanju u Zagrebu i albumima koji su mu pritom pravili društvo i mijenjali život.

"Na više od 350 stranica, kroz osobnu, neposrednu i razigranu priču doznat ćete kako su ljubav i strast prema glazbi prerasli u ozbiljan posao i kako je heroje s omiljenih mu albuma dovodio na pozornice želeći sa što je više ljudi moguće podijeliti ono isto ushićenje koje je osjetio kada ih je prvi puta čuo", stoji u najavi.

Uz zanimljiva podsjećanja na koncertne, kao i na zgode iza scene, mimo glazbenog narativa otkrivat ćete i lice i naličje društva i njegov odnos prema glazbi i kulturi općenito, dodaje se.

Knjiga je ispunjena fotografijama autentičnih materijala, poput kazeta čije je omote Škugor iscrtavao krajem osamdesetih, ili pak najranijih plakata za slušaonice, koji su nastajali izrezivanjem fotografija i logotipova bendova, lijepljenjem na podlogu, a potom fotokopiranjem, ali i onih koje je dizajnirao za standardni tisak.

Naslovnicu knjige krasi bicikl koji je Škugor 12 godina koristio za svakodnevno plakatiranje Zagreba i kojem se nakon više od 100.000 prijeđenih kilometara okvir raspao uslijed "zamora materijala".

U predgovoru knjige glazbeni novinar Aleksandar Dragaš podsjeća da je Škugor "jedan od naših najznačajnijih i najistaknutijih menadžera u kulturi bez čijeg bi doprinosa kulturni i društveni život Zagreba i Hrvatske od kasnih ’90-ih do pandemije korone bio bitno siromašniji i jadniji".

S njime će se u pogovoru složiti i Boris Jokić koji kaže "da tvrdoglavi Mate Škugor nije bio hrabriji od drugih, Zagreb nikada ne bi bio mjesto gdje bi se mogla čuti ponajbolja svjetska suvremena glazba".
