Kvalifikacijski turnir košarkaša za Olimpijske igre u Splitu bit će održan u terminu između 22. lipnja i 4. srpnja 2021., a EuroBasket za košarkaše koji je trebao biti održan sljedeće godine prebačen je za termin od 1. do 18. rujna 2022., potvrdio je Izvršni odbor Međunarodne košarkaške federacije (FIBA) na današnjem sastanku održanom putem video-konferencije. 

"Nakon podrobne analize svih mogućih scenarija i vodeći se preporukama Regionalnih ureda te Komisije za natjecanja, Izvršni odbor FIBA napravio je sljedeće izmjene u kalendaru: turniri olimpijskih kvalifikacija za muškarce bit će odigrani u razdoblju od 22. lipnja do 4. srpnja 2021. (točan termin čeka odobrenje Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora); FIBA EuroBasket 2021. i FIBA AmeriCup 2021. prebačeni su u termin između 1. i 18. rujna 2022.", navodi FIBA u službenom priopćenju u kojem se dodaje da će prve dvije kvalifikacijske utakmice za FIBA Svjetski kup 2023., koje su trebale biti odigrane u rujnu 2022., biti prebačene u kolovoz, kad će se europke i američke reprezentacije pripremati za EuroBasket i AmeriCup, dok svi ostali kvalifikacijski datumi, uključujući i one za kontinentalna natjecanja, ostaju nepromijenjeni.

FIBA Afrobasket (24. kolovoza - 5. rujna) i FIBA Asia Cup (17. - 29. kolovoza) bit će održani sljedeće godine, ali će biti pomaknuti za jedan tjedan kako bi se izbjeglo preklapanje termina s Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju.

FIBA EuroBasket za košarkašice ostao je u predviđenom terminu od 17. do 27. lipnja 2021., a u sličnom će terminu (20. - 27. lipnja 2021.) biti održan FIBA AmeriCup za košarkašice. S četiri kontinentalna natjecanja 16 reprezentacija će izboriti nastup na kvalifikacijskim turnirima za FIBA Svjetski kup za žene, koji su na rasporedu u veljači 2022.

"Svi ostali termini seniorskih natjecanja predviđenih u razdoblju od 2020. do 2023. ostaju nepromijenjeni", stoji u priopćenju. 

"Vrlo sam zadovoljan da smo uspjeli provesti interne konzultacije i potvrditi promjene u kalendaru natjecanja unutar dva tjedna od objave MOO-a o novom terminu Olimpijskih igara", izjavio je u priopćenju glavni tajnik FIBA-e Andreas Zagklis.

"Rezultat toga je da kalendar glavnih FIBA natjecanja ostaje vrlo privlačan našim fanovima, uz uravnotežen raspored glavnih turnira te imajući na umu dobrobit i raspoloživost igrača. Veselim se danu kad će se košarkaška zajednica ponovno moći vratiti na teren", dodao je Zagklis.

Izvršni odbor FIBA-e nastavlja pratiti situaciju s pandemijom COVID-19 bolesti na dnevnoj bazi i procjenjuje sve opcije za mogući nastavak natjecanja kad za to budu stvoreni svi preduvjeti.

Kvalifikacijski turnir košarkaša za Olimpijske igre u Splitu bit će održan u terminu između 22. lipnja i 4. srpnja 2021., a EuroBasket za košarkaše koji je trebao biti održan sljedeće godine prebačen je za termin od 1. do 18. rujna 2022., potvrdio je Izvršni odbor Međunarodne košarkaške federacije (FIBA) na današnjem sastanku održanom putem video-konferencije. 

"Nakon podrobne analize svih mogućih scenarija i vodeći se preporukama Regionalnih ureda te Komisije za natjecanja, Izvršni odbor FIBA napravio je sljedeće izmjene u kalendaru: turniri olimpijskih kvalifikacija za muškarce bit će odigrani u razdoblju od 22. lipnja do 4. srpnja 2021. (točan termin čeka odobrenje Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora); FIBA EuroBasket 2021. i FIBA AmeriCup 2021. prebačeni su u termin između 1. i 18. rujna 2022.", navodi FIBA u službenom priopćenju u kojem se dodaje da će prve dvije kvalifikacijske utakmice za FIBA Svjetski kup 2023., koje su trebale biti odigrane u rujnu 2022., biti prebačene u kolovoz, kad će se europke i američke reprezentacije pripremati za EuroBasket i AmeriCup, dok svi ostali kvalifikacijski datumi, uključujući i one za kontinentalna natjecanja, ostaju nepromijenjeni.

FIBA Afrobasket (24. kolovoza - 5. rujna) i FIBA Asia Cup (17. - 29. kolovoza) bit će održani sljedeće godine, ali će biti pomaknuti za jedan tjedan kako bi se izbjeglo preklapanje termina s Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju.

FIBA EuroBasket za košarkašice ostao je u predviđenom terminu od 17. do 27. lipnja 2021., a u sličnom će terminu (20. - 27. lipnja 2021.) biti održan FIBA AmeriCup za košarkašice. S četiri kontinentalna natjecanja 16 reprezentacija će izboriti nastup na kvalifikacijskim turnirima za FIBA Svjetski kup za žene, koji su na rasporedu u veljači 2022.

"Svi ostali termini seniorskih natjecanja predviđenih u razdoblju od 2020. do 2023. ostaju nepromijenjeni", stoji u priopćenju. 

"Vrlo sam zadovoljan da smo uspjeli provesti interne konzultacije i potvrditi promjene u kalendaru natjecanja unutar dva tjedna od objave MOO-a o novom terminu Olimpijskih igara", izjavio je u priopćenju glavni tajnik FIBA-e Andreas Zagklis.

"Rezultat toga je da kalendar glavnih FIBA natjecanja ostaje vrlo privlačan našim fanovima, uz uravnotežen raspored glavnih turnira te imajući na umu dobrobit i raspoloživost igrača. Veselim se danu kad će se košarkaška zajednica ponovno moći vratiti na teren", dodao je Zagklis.

Izvršni odbor FIBA-e nastavlja pratiti situaciju s pandemijom COVID-19 bolesti na dnevnoj bazi i procjenjuje sve opcije za mogući nastavak natjecanja kad za to budu stvoreni svi preduvjeti.

Hrvatski kvalifikacijski turnir za Olimpijske igre ima novi termin, Eurobasket će se odigrati 2022. godine

Kvalifikacijski turnir košarkaša za Olimpijske igre u Splitu bit će održan u terminu između 22. lipnja i 4. srpnja 2021., a EuroBasket za košarkaše koji je trebao biti održan sljedeće godine prebačen je za termin od 1. do 18. rujna 2022., potvrdio je Izvršni odbor Međunarodne košarkaške federacije (FIBA) na današnjem sastanku održanom putem video-konferencije. 

"Nakon podrobne analize svih mogućih scenarija i vodeći se preporukama Regionalnih ureda te Komisije za natjecanja, Izvršni odbor FIBA napravio je sljedeće izmjene u kalendaru: turniri olimpijskih kvalifikacija za muškarce bit će odigrani u razdoblju od 22. lipnja do 4. srpnja 2021. (točan termin čeka odobrenje Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora); FIBA EuroBasket 2021. i FIBA AmeriCup 2021. prebačeni su u termin između 1. i 18. rujna 2022.", navodi FIBA u službenom priopćenju u kojem se dodaje da će prve dvije kvalifikacijske utakmice za FIBA Svjetski kup 2023., koje su trebale biti odigrane u rujnu 2022., biti prebačene u kolovoz, kad će se europke i američke reprezentacije pripremati za EuroBasket i AmeriCup, dok svi ostali kvalifikacijski datumi, uključujući i one za kontinentalna natjecanja, ostaju nepromijenjeni.

FIBA Afrobasket (24. kolovoza - 5. rujna) i FIBA Asia Cup (17. - 29. kolovoza) bit će održani sljedeće godine, ali će biti pomaknuti za jedan tjedan kako bi se izbjeglo preklapanje termina s Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju.

FIBA EuroBasket za košarkašice ostao je u predviđenom terminu od 17. do 27. lipnja 2021., a u sličnom će terminu (20. - 27. lipnja 2021.) biti održan FIBA AmeriCup za košarkašice. S četiri kontinentalna natjecanja 16 reprezentacija će izboriti nastup na kvalifikacijskim turnirima za FIBA Svjetski kup za žene, koji su na rasporedu u veljači 2022.

"Svi ostali termini seniorskih natjecanja predviđenih u razdoblju od 2020. do 2023. ostaju nepromijenjeni", stoji u priopćenju. 

"Vrlo sam zadovoljan da smo uspjeli provesti interne konzultacije i potvrditi promjene u kalendaru natjecanja unutar dva tjedna od objave MOO-a o novom terminu Olimpijskih igara", izjavio je u priopćenju glavni tajnik FIBA-e Andreas Zagklis.

"Rezultat toga je da kalendar glavnih FIBA natjecanja ostaje vrlo privlačan našim fanovima, uz uravnotežen raspored glavnih turnira te imajući na umu dobrobit i raspoloživost igrača. Veselim se danu kad će se košarkaška zajednica ponovno moći vratiti na teren", dodao je Zagklis.

Izvršni odbor FIBA-e nastavlja pratiti situaciju s pandemijom COVID-19 bolesti na dnevnoj bazi i procjenjuje sve opcije za mogući nastavak natjecanja kad za to budu stvoreni svi preduvjeti.
