WWF, svjetska organizacija za zaštitu prirode je tijekom prošlog tjedna (od 2. do 6. studenog) sudjelovala na 44. sjednici Opće komisije za ribarstvo na Sredozemlju (GFCM), a čije stranke su sve zemlje Sredozemlja. Tijekom sjednice donesena je odluka da posebna regulacija ribolova u dijelu Jabučke kotline, kojima su se do sada privremeno štitili ribarski resursi, postaje trajna!

To je dobitna situacija: morska bioraznolikost se oporavlja, a ribari imaju koristi od sve obilnijeg i vrjednijeg ulova.

"Dosadašnja mjera zaštite pokazala se vrlo uspješnom te je doprinijela obnovi populacija oslića i škampa, ali i niza drugih morskih organizama, na zadovoljstvo ribara, znanstvenika, nevladinih organizacija i Uprave ribarstva. Sada ovo prekogranično područje Hrvatske i Italije dolazi pod obvezujuću trajnu zaštitu kako bi i dalje moglo snabdijevati ribom okolna područja u kojima je ribarenje dozvoljeno" rekao je Mosor Prvan, delegat WWF-a pri Općoj komisiji za ribarstvo na Sredozemlju.

Zemlje regije koje su se prošlog tjedna sastale na godišnjem zasjedanju Opće komisije za ribarstvo na Sredozemlju (GFCM) Organizacije Ujedinjenih naroda za hranu i poljoprivredu (FAO), te u nazočnosti nevladinih organizacija kao što je IUCN, Oceana i WWF, usvojile su i višegodišnje planove upravljanja za održivo iskorištavanje pridnenih i malih pelagičkih stokova u Jadranskom moru, kako bi se osigurala održivost ribolovne aktivnosti usmjerene na te resurse.

WWF Adria ovom prilikom od srca čestita svima koji su svojim radom doprinijeli ovoj velikoj pobjedi za očuvanje našeg Jadrana i naše ribarstvene tradicije. Ovo je veliki korak prema održivoj budućnosti ribarstva, ali i sjajan primjer za uspostavu ovakvih novih područja, kako na Jadranu tako i na cijelom Sredozemlju, poručuju.

WWF, svjetska organizacija za zaštitu prirode je tijekom prošlog tjedna (od 2. do 6. studenog) sudjelovala na 44. sjednici Opće komisije za ribarstvo na Sredozemlju (GFCM), a čije stranke su sve zemlje Sredozemlja. Tijekom sjednice donesena je odluka da posebna regulacija ribolova u dijelu Jabučke kotline, kojima su se do sada privremeno štitili ribarski resursi, postaje trajna!

To je dobitna situacija: morska bioraznolikost se oporavlja, a ribari imaju koristi od sve obilnijeg i vrjednijeg ulova.

"Dosadašnja mjera zaštite pokazala se vrlo uspješnom te je doprinijela obnovi populacija oslića i škampa, ali i niza drugih morskih organizama, na zadovoljstvo ribara, znanstvenika, nevladinih organizacija i Uprave ribarstva. Sada ovo prekogranično područje Hrvatske i Italije dolazi pod obvezujuću trajnu zaštitu kako bi i dalje moglo snabdijevati ribom okolna područja u kojima je ribarenje dozvoljeno" rekao je Mosor Prvan, delegat WWF-a pri Općoj komisiji za ribarstvo na Sredozemlju.

Zemlje regije koje su se prošlog tjedna sastale na godišnjem zasjedanju Opće komisije za ribarstvo na Sredozemlju (GFCM) Organizacije Ujedinjenih naroda za hranu i poljoprivredu (FAO), te u nazočnosti nevladinih organizacija kao što je IUCN, Oceana i WWF, usvojile su i višegodišnje planove upravljanja za održivo iskorištavanje pridnenih i malih pelagičkih stokova u Jadranskom moru, kako bi se osigurala održivost ribolovne aktivnosti usmjerene na te resurse.

WWF Adria ovom prilikom od srca čestita svima koji su svojim radom doprinijeli ovoj velikoj pobjedi za očuvanje našeg Jadrana i naše ribarstvene tradicije. Ovo je veliki korak prema održivoj budućnosti ribarstva, ali i sjajan primjer za uspostavu ovakvih novih područja, kako na Jadranu tako i na cijelom Sredozemlju, poručuju.

WWF, svjetska organizacija za zaštitu prirode je tijekom prošlog tjedna (od 2. do 6. studenog) sudjelovala na 44. sjednici Opće komisije za ribarstvo na Sredozemlju (GFCM), a čije stranke su sve zemlje Sredozemlja. Tijekom sjednice donesena je odluka da posebna regulacija ribolova u dijelu Jabučke kotline, kojima su se do sada privremeno štitili ribarski resursi, postaje trajna!

To je dobitna situacija: morska bioraznolikost se oporavlja, a ribari imaju koristi od sve obilnijeg i vrjednijeg ulova.

"Dosadašnja mjera zaštite pokazala se vrlo uspješnom te je doprinijela obnovi populacija oslića i škampa, ali i niza drugih morskih organizama, na zadovoljstvo ribara, znanstvenika, nevladinih organizacija i Uprave ribarstva. Sada ovo prekogranično područje Hrvatske i Italije dolazi pod obvezujuću trajnu zaštitu kako bi i dalje moglo snabdijevati ribom okolna područja u kojima je ribarenje dozvoljeno" rekao je Mosor Prvan, delegat WWF-a pri Općoj komisiji za ribarstvo na Sredozemlju.
