Desetljećima budio prije zore. Prošetao bi onim svojim hitrim hodom od "Koteksa" do Gradske luke, u kojoj je promet zbog njegove osebujnosti i vještine koordinacije štimao kao sat, i sve dok posljednjeg putnika ne bi ispratio prema njegovoj destinaciji, nije napuštao radno mjesto... Kapetan Ante Mrvica, pomorac, sveučilišni porfesor, koordinator splitskog plovnog područja, ljudina koja je istinski živjela svoj poziv, povezivala dva kopna, kojoj je putnik, čovjek uvijek bio na prvom mjestu....

Prije tri godine napustio nas je kapetan Mrvica. I dan, danas, splitska luka nekako je pusta bez ovog divnog čovjeka.

U nastavku prenosimo tekst kolege Damira Šarca napisan prije tri godine:

"Kasnin na trajekt! Zovi Mrvicu! Izgubija san biljet! Zovi Mrvicu! Na Poljudu su produžeci, neće stić Šoltani na vapor! Zovi Mrvicu! Kasnu pruge za škoje! Zovi Mrvicu! Sutra zovu veliko jugo, a moran na Lastovo! Ako zovu jugovinu, a ti zovi Mrvicu! Izgubilo se češko dite! Zovi znaš već koga...

Skoro trideset godin to je bilo ka u onome filmu "Nazovi M... radi vapora". I svega drugoga.

U nedilju je Ante Mrvica, čuli ste, partija. Ka šta vapori parte. Pa se vrate. Mrvica se neće vratit.

Splitska je luka jedan od centara Mediterana i ka šta je Mediteran majka pameti, ali i majka kaosa, tako je i naš porat bija poprište najvećih gužvi, iljada zbunjenih fureštih i domaćih putnika. Turali su se onde s boršama, karjolama, mišalicama, taksijima, autobusima, hladnjačama, ljudi, pasi i tovari, izgubljena dica i nađene stvari. I ko zna di bi cilo to klupko neznanja završilo, ko bi u koju luku i na koji škoj doša, da nije bilo Ante Mrvice. Sidruna.

Cili oni labirint od plovidbenoga reda u koji si moga urama gledat ka tukac i ne razumit ništa, on je ima u glavi posložen ka u kompjutor. Službeni posal mu je bija koordinator plovnoga područja Jadrolinije. I to ti govori malo, skoro ništa.

Kako san i životon i poslon vezan za škoje, po portu san se gubija u svake ure i godišnja doba. Evo te u pet uri prije svitanja, bauljaš po onoj mutnoj zori, a on na mulu u modri mantel. Ako si doša u ponoća liti, on je opet tamo. Suva, visoka, sida prilika, uvik sa španjuleton u ruci. Liti bi samo bija u drugu uniformu, bilu košuju od firme. Na minus deset i plus četrdeset ka lanterna na svome mistu. Govorilo se i po osamnajst uri kad triba.

- Šta oće reć da si uranija? Još je pet minuti do partence. A uvik kasniš?

- Čudo, moj šjor Mrvica.

- Ajde, imamo vrimena za zapalit. Ovo ideš na Vis, danas ti nema natrag, znaš, jesi uzeja spavanje tamo? Evo uzmi moj španjulet, doktorira san pa častin.

- O, pa čestitan, velika je to stvar. Kad ste uvatili vrimena?

- Kad čovik nešto oće, uvik može. A predavat ću na faksu, znaš. Nije to loše.

Tako bi se on pofalija. Skromno, u dvi riči.

A davili smo ga u svaka doba.

- Šjor Mrvica, ma kad parti ovi izvanredni u Supetar, nema na internetu?

- Dobija si me u vinogradu na Žirju, usrid posla, polijen loze. Di si reka? Ide ti jedan u deset, a drugi popodne u pet. Velika je gužva doli, stani u red na vrime.

Jučer se javija sa Žirja, a u svanuće je već bija na svome mistu. Otpraća i dopraća. Kad bi vidija čovika, s deset metri je zna odakle je i di će.

Ma ko bi drugi osin njega vidija da je žena ušla u krivi trajekt po tome šta je imala samo mali boršin. Odma je štopa: "U krivome ste trajektu, gospođo, jer ne virujen da biste išli na Vis samo s boršinićen. Sigurno biste prispavali. A za to van triba bar jedan veći bagaj." I bija je u pravu. Tribala je na Brač i odma se vratit natrag.

A na mobitelu, onome bez interneta, zna je obavit i petsto razgovora na dan!

- Slušaj, ne smi razgovor bit duži od deset, dvadeset sekundi, jer to znači da se ništa nismo razumili.

Jidija se kad bi ga zvali kapetan. Navigava je petnaestak godin, diplomira i strojarstvo i nautiku, ali luke su mu bile draže od mosta. Puste nagrade je dobija i od struke i od otočkih općina i od županije, ali bilo mu je puno žaj da nije dobija Nagradu grada Splita. Nominirali smo ga pet, šest puti. Ništa. A deset ih je zaslužija!

Kad je prin par godin iša u penšjun, plakali su Splićani i boduli, a zafrkavali su ga da će ga sad zaminit – automat. Svaki automat bi prigorija da mu je stavit ono šta je Ante ima u glavi i srcu.

- Nisan ja kapitan - uvik bi te ispravija.

A kapetan je bija. Ma još jači, admiral splitskoga porta. I ne samo Mrvica, nego planina od Čovika, sa srcen velikin ka vapor i širokin ka vinograd. Sad će negdi u gornjemu portu činit red. Valjda se smi sa španjuleton? Inače, nije to to..."

Desetljećima budio prije zore. Prošetao bi onim svojim hitrim hodom od "Koteksa" do Gradske luke, u kojoj je promet zbog njegove osebujnosti i vještine koordinacije štimao kao sat, i sve dok posljednjeg putnika ne bi ispratio prema njegovoj destinaciji, nije napuštao radno mjesto... Kapetan Ante Mrvica, pomorac, sveučilišni porfesor, koordinator splitskog plovnog područja, ljudina koja je istinski živjela svoj poziv, povezivala dva kopna, kojoj je putnik, čovjek uvijek bio na prvom mjestu....

Prije tri godine napustio nas je kapetan Mrvica. I dan, danas, splitska luka nekako je pusta bez ovog divnog čovjeka.

U nastavku prenosimo tekst kolege Damira Šarca napisan prije tri godine:

"Kasnin na trajekt! Zovi Mrvicu! Izgubija san biljet! Zovi Mrvicu! Na Poljudu su produžeci, neće stić Šoltani na vapor! Zovi Mrvicu! Kasnu pruge za škoje! Zovi Mrvicu! Sutra zovu veliko jugo, a moran na Lastovo! Ako zovu jugovinu, a ti zovi Mrvicu! Izgubilo se češko dite! Zovi znaš već koga...

Skoro trideset godin to je bilo ka u onome filmu "Nazovi M... radi vapora". I svega drugoga.

U nedilju je Ante Mrvica, čuli ste, partija. Ka šta vapori parte. Pa se vrate. Mrvica se neće vratit.

Splitska je luka jedan od centara Mediterana i ka šta je Mediteran majka pameti, ali i majka kaosa, tako je i naš porat bija poprište najvećih gužvi, iljada zbunjenih fureštih i domaćih putnika. Turali su se onde s boršama, karjolama, mišalicama, taksijima, autobusima, hladnjačama, ljudi, pasi i tovari, izgubljena dica i nađene stvari. I ko zna di bi cilo to klupko neznanja završilo, ko bi u koju luku i na koji škoj doša, da nije bilo Ante Mrvice. Sidruna.

Cili oni labirint od plovidbenoga reda u koji si moga urama gledat ka tukac i ne razumit ništa, on je ima u glavi posložen ka u kompjutor. Službeni posal mu je bija koordinator plovnoga područja Jadrolinije. I to ti govori malo, skoro ništa.

Kako san i životon i poslon vezan za škoje, po portu san se gubija u svake ure i godišnja doba. Evo te u pet uri prije svitanja, bauljaš po onoj mutnoj zori, a on na mulu u modri mantel. Ako si doša u ponoća liti, on je opet tamo. Suva, visoka, sida prilika, uvik sa španjuleton u ruci. Liti bi samo bija u drugu uniformu, bilu košuju od firme. Na minus deset i plus četrdeset ka lanterna na svome mistu. Govorilo se i po osamnajst uri kad triba.

- Šta oće reć da si uranija? Još je pet minuti do partence. A uvik kasniš?

- Čudo, moj šjor Mrvica.

- Ajde, imamo vrimena za zapalit. Ovo ideš na Vis, danas ti nema natrag, znaš, jesi uzeja spavanje tamo? Evo uzmi moj španjulet, doktorira san pa častin.

- O, pa čestitan, velika je to stvar. Kad ste uvatili vrimena?

- Kad čovik nešto oće, uvik može. A predavat ću na faksu, znaš. Nije to loše.

Tako bi se on pofalija. Skromno, u dvi riči.

A davili smo ga u svaka doba.

- Šjor Mrvica, ma kad parti ovi izvanredni u Supetar, nema na internetu?

- Dobija si me u vinogradu na Žirju, usrid posla, polijen loze. Di si reka? Ide ti jedan u deset, a drugi popodne u pet. Velika je gužva doli, stani u red na vrime.

Jučer se javija sa Žirja, a u svanuće je već bija na svome mistu. Otpraća i dopraća. Kad bi vidija čovika, s deset metri je zna odakle je i di će.

Ma ko bi drugi osin njega vidija da je žena ušla u krivi trajekt po tome šta je imala samo mali boršin. Odma je štopa: "U krivome ste trajektu, gospođo, jer ne virujen da biste išli na Vis samo s boršinićen. Sigurno biste prispavali. A za to van triba bar jedan veći bagaj." I bija je u pravu. Tribala je na Brač i odma se vratit natrag.

A na mobitelu, onome bez interneta, zna je obavit i petsto razgovora na dan!

- Slušaj, ne smi razgovor bit duži od deset, dvadeset sekundi, jer to znači da se ništa nismo razumili.

Jidija se kad bi ga zvali kapetan. Navigava je petnaestak godin, diplomira i strojarstvo i nautiku, ali luke su mu bile draže od mosta. Puste nagrade je dobija i od struke i od otočkih općina i od županije, ali bilo mu je puno žaj da nije dobija Nagradu grada Splita. Nominirali smo ga pet, šest puti. Ništa. A deset ih je zaslužija!

Kad je prin par godin iša u penšjun, plakali su Splićani i boduli, a zafrkavali su ga da će ga sad zaminit – automat. Svaki automat bi prigorija da mu je stavit ono šta je Ante ima u glavi i srcu.

- Nisan ja kapitan - uvik bi te ispravija.

A kapetan je bija. Ma još jači, admiral splitskoga porta. I ne samo Mrvica, nego planina od Čovika, sa srcen velikin ka vapor i širokin ka vinograd. Sad će negdi u gornjemu portu činit red. Valjda se smi sa španjuleton? Inače, nije to to..."
