U ponedjeljak u poslijepodnevnim satima uz trogirsku rivu održano je neuobičajeno slavlje slavlju – 100. rođendan broda. Riječ je o prekrasnom škotskom brodu “Lallie” koji je koncem srpnja 1908. godine svečano isplovio iz engleskog škvera Phillipi Dartamovth na svoje prvo kružno putovanje.

Dugačak je 26,5, a širok 4,20 metara (namjena mu je bila za samo krstarenje jezerima), glavni pogon je francuske proizvodnje, a stroj potječe od 1908. godine, bio je parni kao što je i danas, ali je prenapravljen na mazut.

U prvim godinama postizao je brzinu od osam čvorova, a danas preuređen postiže brzinu od 12 čvorova. U svoje potpalublje može primiti sedam putnika, a kabine su ostale iste kakve su bile prije 100 godina. Sadašnji vlasnik “Lalliea” je Nizozemac Van Vlicsingen.

Kako smo saznali od kapetana broda Mellea Boesoma, Trogir im je posebno zanimljiv, ne samo zbog ljepote koju pruža brojnim turistima, nego stoga što se tu osjećaju kao domaćini, a ne turisti, što zahvaljuju odličnoj suradnji s Kajom Cicilianijem, čijom su zaslugom i organizirali ovo rođendansko slavlje ispred starih zidina grada kamena i muzeja.

Slavlju je nazočio i trogirski gradonačelnik Vedran Rožić kao i direktorica Turističke zajednice grada Nina Mišić.

Uz ime “Lallie” vezana je jedna legenda od prije 77 godina kada je s pramca broda snimljena povijesna slika s jezera Loch Ness, gdje se na slici vidi nepoznata morska životinja - kasnije prozvano čudovištem s Loch Nessa.

Kad pišemo o ovome “starcu” od 100 godina trebamo se podsjetiti da je u Trogir prvi parni brod stigao 3. travnja 1862. godine i to kompanije Lloyd iz Trsta, a zanimljivo je da su pri njegovu uplovljenju svi stari jedrenjaci zatečeni u luci spustili u znak žalosti jedra na pola stijega, što je nagovijestilo početak nove ere u brodogradnji.

A prvi Trogiranin koji je 1870. godine sa svojim parnim brodom “Dampf” uplovio u Trogir bio je Petar Petrić. Građani su brod posprdno zvali “Tanf”.

U ponedjeljak u poslijepodnevnim satima uz trogirsku rivu održano je neuobičajeno slavlje slavlju – 100. rođendan broda. Riječ je o prekrasnom škotskom brodu “Lallie” koji je koncem srpnja 1908. godine svečano isplovio iz engleskog škvera Phillipi Dartamovth na svoje prvo kružno putovanje.

Dugačak je 26,5, a širok 4,20 metara (namjena mu je bila za samo krstarenje jezerima), glavni pogon je francuske proizvodnje, a stroj potječe od 1908. godine, bio je parni kao što je i danas, ali je prenapravljen na mazut.

U prvim godinama postizao je brzinu od osam čvorova, a danas preuređen postiže brzinu od 12 čvorova. U svoje potpalublje može primiti sedam putnika, a kabine su ostale iste kakve su bile prije 100 godina. Sadašnji vlasnik “Lalliea” je Nizozemac Van Vlicsingen.

Kako smo saznali od kapetana broda Mellea Boesoma, Trogir im je posebno zanimljiv, ne samo zbog ljepote koju pruža brojnim turistima, nego stoga što se tu osjećaju kao domaćini, a ne turisti, što zahvaljuju odličnoj suradnji s Kajom Cicilianijem, čijom su zaslugom i organizirali ovo rođendansko slavlje ispred starih zidina grada kamena i muzeja.

Slavlju je nazočio i trogirski gradonačelnik Vedran Rožić kao i direktorica Turističke zajednice grada Nina Mišić.

Uz ime “Lallie” vezana je jedna legenda od prije 77 godina kada je s pramca broda snimljena povijesna slika s jezera Loch Ness, gdje se na slici vidi nepoznata morska životinja - kasnije prozvano čudovištem s Loch Nessa.

Kad pišemo o ovome “starcu” od 100 godina trebamo se podsjetiti da je u Trogir prvi parni brod stigao 3. travnja 1862. godine i to kompanije Lloyd iz Trsta, a zanimljivo je da su pri njegovu uplovljenju svi stari jedrenjaci zatečeni u luci spustili u znak žalosti jedra na pola stijega, što je nagovijestilo početak nove ere u brodogradnji.

A prvi Trogiranin koji je 1870. godine sa svojim parnim brodom “Dampf” uplovio u Trogir bio je Petar Petrić. Građani su brod posprdno zvali “Tanf”.
