Amerikanci na svoje kućne ljubimce troše više nego ikada, objavila je američka udruga proizvođača potrepština za kućne ljubimce (APPA), prenosi BBC.

Prošle su godine, naime, Amerikanci na svoje ljubimce potrošili više od 50 milijardi dolara (285 milijardi kuna), kaže APPA. Od toga je 65 posto potrošeno na hranu i veterinarske usluge.

Međutim, najveći je porast potrošnje ostvaren u kategoriji "usluga", odnosno za njihovu njegu, smještaj u hotele za kućne ljubimce i za njihovo čuvanje. U tu je svrhu potrošeno nešto manje od četiri milijarde dolara u 2011. godini. Očekuje se da će ove godine taj iznos biti još veći.

"Ljudi rade sve više i dulje i potrebna im je vanjska briga za njihove kuće ljubimce. Taj trend će se nastaviti i dalje", rekao je predsjednik APPA-e.

Amerikanci na svoje kućne ljubimce troše više nego ikada, objavila je američka udruga proizvođača potrepština za kućne ljubimce (APPA), prenosi BBC.

Prošle su godine, naime, Amerikanci na svoje ljubimce potrošili više od 50 milijardi dolara (285 milijardi kuna), kaže APPA. Od toga je 65 posto potrošeno na hranu i veterinarske usluge.

Međutim, najveći je porast potrošnje ostvaren u kategoriji "usluga", odnosno za njihovu njegu, smještaj u hotele za kućne ljubimce i za njihovo čuvanje. U tu je svrhu potrošeno nešto manje od četiri milijarde dolara u 2011. godini. Očekuje se da će ove godine taj iznos biti još veći.

"Ljudi rade sve više i dulje i potrebna im je vanjska briga za njihove kuće ljubimce. Taj trend će se nastaviti i dalje", rekao je predsjednik APPA-e.

Amerikanci na svoje kućne ljubimce troše više nego ikada, objavila je američka udruga proizvođača potrepština za kućne ljubimce (APPA), prenosi BBC.
