U SAD-u kreativna industrija cvate, velike tehnološke kompanije vode bitku za internetskim talentima, a kreatori sadržaja preuzimaju moć od društvenih platformi, piše Reuters.

Katie Feeney, 18-godišnjakinja iz Marylanda, u studenom je bila na satu matematike putem Zooma, kada je saznala da joj je tjedan objavljivanja skečeva i videa u kojima otvara pakete na Snapchatu donio zaradu od 229.000 američkih dolara. U proteklim sedam mjeseci inkasirala je 1,4 milijuna dolara.

Osobni trener iz Portlanda Julian Shaw tijekom pandemije je odplatio dug od 18.000 dolara na kreditnoj kartici prodajući videozapise u kojima educira o fitnesu "s malo seksualne privlačnosti" na OnlyFansu, internetskoj stranici s pretplatom.  

Pandemijska godina doprinijela rastu u kreativnoj industriji?

U zadnjih godinu dana velike su se društvene mreže utrkivale kako bi objavile desetke rješenja usmjerenih na privlačenje kreativaca. Procjenjuje se da postoji oko 50 milijuna ljudi poput Feeney.

Popularnost platformi poput TikToka, čiji su alati pomogli nepoznatima da stvore masovnu publiku i čiji je kreativni fond vrijedan dvije milijarde dolara, pokrenula je "utrku u naoružanju" među velikim kompanijama poput Facebooka, Twittera te Alphabetovog YouTubea, kako bi privukli najpopularnije kreativce, ponekad zvane influencerima. Tako su uveli nove mogućnosti, sredstva i alate za pretplatu ili plaćanje kako bi zaradili novac od pratitelja.

Trend podrazumijeva i promjene za obične korisnike društvenih mreža. Suočit će se s više zahtjeva i obveza za plaćanjima sadržaja koji je sada dostupan besplatno, a novi alati daju im mogućnost izravnijeg stupanja u kontakt s influencerima.

Utrka kompanija da privuku i zadrže kreativce evolucija je kreativne industrije društvenih medija, koja se godinama temeljila na zarađivanju novca dijeljenjem prihoda od oglasa i sponzoriranja brendova. Tržište sponzoriranja dosegnulo je osam milijardi dolara u 2019. godini, a predviđa se da će do sljedeće godine doseći 15 milijardi dolara.

Kreativci preuzeli moć platformama

"Moć se s platformi preusmjerila na kreativce, stvaratelje sadržaja. Sve platforme su se upregnule kad su shvatile da im prijeti velika opasnost od gubitka radne snage ako ne dodaju ove značajke", rekao je direktor sadržaja u SignalFireu Josh Constine.
Iskustvo platforme Vine upozorava na moguće ishode, rekao je Constine.

Vine je bila aplikacija namijenjena kratkim videozapisima, koju je kupio Twitter i koja se smatra prethodnicom TikToka, no koja je propala nakon što su je kreativci napustili jer im nije pružala načine zarade.

Facebook je najavio mnoštvo značajki usmjerenih na kreatore sadržaja te plaća video igrače dok izgrađuje Facebook Gaming. Direktor Instagrama Adam Mosseri rekao je ovog tjedna da aplikacija „istražuje“ pretplate na sadržaj, što bi bilo prvi put za tu aplikaciju koja je u vlasništvu Facebooka.

Čak se i Twitter utrkuje predstavljajući "Super Follow", značajku koja će korisnicima omogućiti plaćanje za ekskluzivne sadržaje popularnih tviteraša, te najavljujući plaćanje ulaznica za nove audio - sobe za razgovore. Također, u svibnju je pokrenuo plaćanje za korisnički "Tip Jar".

Kako bi kreativci bili angažirani, tehnološke platforme namjenski financiraju korisnike koji proizvode najzanimljiviji sadržaj. Snapchat je priopćio da je od studenog potrošio 130 milijuna američkih dolara financirajući influencere na značajki "Spotlight".

Terapeut za mentalno zdravlje Dominic Andre koji sada stvara znanstvene sadržaje na TikToku, rekao je da je dugo razmišljao o uključivanju na Snapchat. Snimak zaslona zarade koju su on i njegova djevojka ostvarili u prošloj godini od Spotlighta uokviren je u kući u Los Angelesu koju su kupili tim novcem.

Feeney, koja je stekla pet milijuna pratitelja na TikTok, a prije nego što se proširila na Snapchat, kaže da ju je YouTube regrutirao da se pridruži beta testiranju za novu aplikaciju koja bi bila kopija TikToka zvana Shorts.

Nova budućnost novinarstva

Novinar koji se bavi tehnologijom Casey Newton, koji je napustio VoxMedia kako bi u rujnu započeo pisanje svog biltena Platformer na Substacku, kaže da tvrtke nude povoljnije uvjete za kreativce nego što su to ranije činili.

Jedan od primjera su Facebookovi planovi kojima će omogućiti da pisci njihovog budućeg biltena mogu koristiti internetske adrese svojih čitatelja.

"Mislim da to govori o tome koliku moć imaju kreativci", rekao je Newton.

YouTube, koji već dugo pruža načine plaćanja autorima videa, priopćio je da je zadnje tri godine njima i medijskim organizacijama platio više od 30 milijardi dolara, a nedavno je pokrenuo i fond vrijedan 100 milijuna dolara za kreatore na Shortsu.

Direktor Youtube za partnerstvo s kreatorima Jamie Byrne rekao je da su kreatori tražili takav fond ako svoj YouTube kanal učine glavnim odredištem svojih sljedbenika.

"Kreatori zauzimaju svoje zaslužene pozicije u središtu svemira kreativne industrije. Moramo biti njihova matična baza", rekao je.

U SAD-u kreativna industrija cvate, velike tehnološke kompanije vode bitku za internetskim talentima, a kreatori sadržaja preuzimaju moć od društvenih platformi, piše Reuters.

Katie Feeney, 18-godišnjakinja iz Marylanda, u studenom je bila na satu matematike putem Zooma, kada je saznala da joj je tjedan objavljivanja skečeva i videa u kojima otvara pakete na Snapchatu donio zaradu od 229.000 američkih dolara. U proteklim sedam mjeseci inkasirala je 1,4 milijuna dolara.

Osobni trener iz Portlanda Julian Shaw tijekom pandemije je odplatio dug od 18.000 dolara na kreditnoj kartici prodajući videozapise u kojima educira o fitnesu "s malo seksualne privlačnosti" na OnlyFansu, internetskoj stranici s pretplatom.  

Pandemijska godina doprinijela rastu u kreativnoj industriji?

U zadnjih godinu dana velike su se društvene mreže utrkivale kako bi objavile desetke rješenja usmjerenih na privlačenje kreativaca. Procjenjuje se da postoji oko 50 milijuna ljudi poput Feeney.

Popularnost platformi poput TikToka, čiji su alati pomogli nepoznatima da stvore masovnu publiku i čiji je kreativni fond vrijedan dvije milijarde dolara, pokrenula je "utrku u naoružanju" među velikim kompanijama poput Facebooka, Twittera te Alphabetovog YouTubea, kako bi privukli najpopularnije kreativce, ponekad zvane influencerima. Tako su uveli nove mogućnosti, sredstva i alate za pretplatu ili plaćanje kako bi zaradili novac od pratitelja.

Trend podrazumijeva i promjene za obične korisnike društvenih mreža. Suočit će se s više zahtjeva i obveza za plaćanjima sadržaja koji je sada dostupan besplatno, a novi alati daju im mogućnost izravnijeg stupanja u kontakt s influencerima.

Utrka kompanija da privuku i zadrže kreativce evolucija je kreativne industrije društvenih medija, koja se godinama temeljila na zarađivanju novca dijeljenjem prihoda od oglasa i sponzoriranja brendova. Tržište sponzoriranja dosegnulo je osam milijardi dolara u 2019. godini, a predviđa se da će do sljedeće godine doseći 15 milijardi dolara.

Kreativci preuzeli moć platformama

"Moć se s platformi preusmjerila na kreativce, stvaratelje sadržaja. Sve platforme su se upregnule kad su shvatile da im prijeti velika opasnost od gubitka radne snage ako ne dodaju ove značajke", rekao je direktor sadržaja u SignalFireu Josh Constine.
Iskustvo platforme Vine upozorava na moguće ishode, rekao je Constine.

Vine je bila aplikacija namijenjena kratkim videozapisima, koju je kupio Twitter i koja se smatra prethodnicom TikToka, no koja je propala nakon što su je kreativci napustili jer im nije pružala načine zarade.

Facebook je najavio mnoštvo značajki usmjerenih na kreatore sadržaja te plaća video igrače dok izgrađuje Facebook Gaming. Direktor Instagrama Adam Mosseri rekao je ovog tjedna da aplikacija „istražuje“ pretplate na sadržaj, što bi bilo prvi put za tu aplikaciju koja je u vlasništvu Facebooka.

Čak se i Twitter utrkuje predstavljajući "Super Follow", značajku koja će korisnicima omogućiti plaćanje za ekskluzivne sadržaje popularnih tviteraša, te najavljujući plaćanje ulaznica za nove audio - sobe za razgovore. Također, u svibnju je pokrenuo plaćanje za korisnički "Tip Jar".

Kako bi kreativci bili angažirani, tehnološke platforme namjenski financiraju korisnike koji proizvode najzanimljiviji sadržaj. Snapchat je priopćio da je od studenog potrošio 130 milijuna američkih dolara financirajući influencere na značajki "Spotlight".

Terapeut za mentalno zdravlje Dominic Andre koji sada stvara znanstvene sadržaje na TikToku, rekao je da je dugo razmišljao o uključivanju na Snapchat. Snimak zaslona zarade koju su on i njegova djevojka ostvarili u prošloj godini od Spotlighta uokviren je u kući u Los Angelesu koju su kupili tim novcem.

Feeney, koja je stekla pet milijuna pratitelja na TikTok, a prije nego što se proširila na Snapchat, kaže da ju je YouTube regrutirao da se pridruži beta testiranju za novu aplikaciju koja bi bila kopija TikToka zvana Shorts.

Nova budućnost novinarstva

Novinar koji se bavi tehnologijom Casey Newton, koji je napustio VoxMedia kako bi u rujnu započeo pisanje svog biltena Platformer na Substacku, kaže da tvrtke nude povoljnije uvjete za kreativce nego što su to ranije činili.

Jedan od primjera su Facebookovi planovi kojima će omogućiti da pisci njihovog budućeg biltena mogu koristiti internetske adrese svojih čitatelja.

"Mislim da to govori o tome koliku moć imaju kreativci", rekao je Newton.

YouTube, koji već dugo pruža načine plaćanja autorima videa, priopćio je da je zadnje tri godine njima i medijskim organizacijama platio više od 30 milijardi dolara, a nedavno je pokrenuo i fond vrijedan 100 milijuna dolara za kreatore na Shortsu.

Direktor Youtube za partnerstvo s kreatorima Jamie Byrne rekao je da su kreatori tražili takav fond ako svoj YouTube kanal učine glavnim odredištem svojih sljedbenika.

"Kreatori zauzimaju svoje zaslužene pozicije u središtu svemira kreativne industrije. Moramo biti njihova matična baza", rekao je.
