I tako smo nedavno imali još jedno masovno “cijepljenje” odnosno prosvjede takozvanih antivaksera. Radi se samo o drugom načinu dolaska do cilja, o stvaranju imuniteta krda. Svi potrebni elementi su tu: ljudi ne nose maske, nisu cijepljeni, viču iz petnih žila, slina prska na sve strane, a svi su stisnuti kao sardine. To je za virus poput božićnih blagdana. Ili švedskog stola. Ja sam zaista osoba koja podržava pravo na slobodu i podržavam civilna prava čovjeka, ali mi zaista nije jasno što antivakseri žele i protiv čega prosvjeduju?

Prosvjeduju protiv nečega što čak nije obavezno. Ako se ne želiš cijepiti - nemoj, što moraš o tome galamiti na sva zvona? Pretpostavljam da će Hrvatska u jednom trenutku ukloniti sve restrikcije, iako vjerujem da se to neće dogoditi prije dogodine. Moje odredište za predstojeće Božićne blagdane je Velika Britanija, koja je odlučila da je najbolja politika potpuno otvaranje. “Radi se o blažoj verziji švedskog modela,”rekao mi je prijatelj iz Londona.

Razmatrajući situaciju, vlasti su vidjele da je dosegnuta vrlo visoka razina procijepljenosti, da je starija populacija u potpunosti zaštićena te da se virus sada može širiti među ostatkom populacije. Odjednom maske nisu obvezne, sportska događanja mogu imati neograničen broj posjetitelja, a otvoreni su i klubovi. “To izgleda ovako – ako ne želite cjepivo, imat ćete covid,” komentirao je dalje moj prijatelj.

Ili jedno ili drugo

S obzirom da je za ovogodišnji Božić planirano veliko obiteljsko okupljanje, pozorno pratim situaciju na (mom) Otoku. Naravno, u svemu tome, u ovim vremenima, vrlo je važno planiranje i praćenje Covid regulative. S obzirom na to da ćemo supruga i ja voziti do Velike Britanije i pritom proći pola Europe, imamo dosta stvari za “pohvatati”. Ali dobre vijesti, zaista dobre vijesti stigle su ovih dana, a kažu da se Britanija “otvara” ovaj tjedan.

Novost je to koja će nam: a) uštedjeti jako puno novaca, b) Dubrovniku donijeti više novaca. Svi putnici koji su primili obvezne doze cjepiva više neće trebati PCR testove, bar ne u slučajevima kad se vraćaju u Veliku Britaniju iz zemalja niskog rizika. Od 4. listopada svi cijepljeni putnici koji dolaze iz zemalja niskog rizika moći će se testirati s jeftinim testovima što je svakako puno prihvatljivije od PCR testova koji su punili blagajne privatnih laboratorija.

To znači da turisti za putovanja iz Velike Britanije neće imati dodatne troškove, jer je cijena PCR testa oko 80 eura. Za mene osobno to znači da mi je britanska vlada uštedila 400 EUR samo na PCR testovima. Ono što je još važnije je to što je ta mjera potakla Britance da s radošću na svojim laptopima klikaju opciju “bukiraj sad!” “Nevjerojatno je koliko je ljudi kupilo avionsku kartu za putovanje u listopadu,” čuo sam od jednog britanskog turističkog agenta. Dodajući “Kad bi bilo letova u studenom i prosincu, kroz cijelu godinu, ljudi bi sigurno dolazili u Dubrovnik.”

Zimski turizam

Poznati istraživački novinar (Travel Detective), mnogostruki dobitnik nagrade Emmy, Amerikanac Peter Greenberg jednom mi je prilikom rekao: “Da bi se izgradio zimski turizam, avio-kompanije bi trebale održavati linije cijelu godinu. U protivnom problem prenapučenosti ostaje. Morate odlučiti tko koga sluša – vi aviokompanije ili one vas? I tu je u potpunosti u pravu. Vidimo da ljudi žele putovati u listopadu, čak i u studenom, jasno, u znatno manjem broju nego u kolovozu, ali ipak, interes postoji. Je li nam trebala globalna pandemija kako bismo shvatili da možemo imati i zimski turizam.

Hoće li se nešto promijeniti, sumnjam, jer mi nismo “gospodari” svoje destinacije (ah, ta riječ), već smo taoci avio-kompanija. Kao što sam rekao, ove godine Božić proslavljam u proširenom obiteljskom krugu u Velikoj Britaniji. Za tu priliku unajmili smo veliku kuću koja će nam biti baza. U trenutku kad je kuća (vila) bila bukirana, a to je bilo lani, 70 posto kuća iz tog područja već je bilo iznajmljeno. Zimski turizam na Otoku itekako je živ!

I tako smo nedavno imali još jedno masovno “cijepljenje” odnosno prosvjede takozvanih antivaksera. Radi se samo o drugom načinu dolaska do cilja, o stvaranju imuniteta krda. Svi potrebni elementi su tu: ljudi ne nose maske, nisu cijepljeni, viču iz petnih žila, slina prska na sve strane, a svi su stisnuti kao sardine. To je za virus poput božićnih blagdana. Ili švedskog stola. Ja sam zaista osoba koja podržava pravo na slobodu i podržavam civilna prava čovjeka, ali mi zaista nije jasno što antivakseri žele i protiv čega prosvjeduju?

Prosvjeduju protiv nečega što čak nije obavezno. Ako se ne želiš cijepiti - nemoj, što moraš o tome galamiti na sva zvona? Pretpostavljam da će Hrvatska u jednom trenutku ukloniti sve restrikcije, iako vjerujem da se to neće dogoditi prije dogodine. Moje odredište za predstojeće Božićne blagdane je Velika Britanija, koja je odlučila da je najbolja politika potpuno otvaranje. “Radi se o blažoj verziji švedskog modela,”rekao mi je prijatelj iz Londona.

Razmatrajući situaciju, vlasti su vidjele da je dosegnuta vrlo visoka razina procijepljenosti, da je starija populacija u potpunosti zaštićena te da se virus sada može širiti među ostatkom populacije. S obzirom da je za ovogodišnji Božić planirano veliko obiteljsko okupljanje, pozorno pratim situaciju na (mom) Otoku. Naravno, u svemu tome, u ovim vremenima, vrlo je važno planiranje i praćenje Covid regulative. S obzirom na to da ćemo supruga i ja voziti do Velike Britanije i pritom proći pola Europe, imamo dosta stvari za “pohvatati”. Ali dobre vijesti, zaista dobre vijesti stigle su ovih dana, a kažu da se Britanija “otvara” ovaj tjedan.

Novost je to koja će nam: a) uštedjeti jako puno novaca, b) Dubrovniku donijeti više novaca. Svi putnici koji su primili obvezne doze cjepiva više neće trebati PCR testove, bar ne u slučajevima kad se vraćaju u Veliku Britaniju iz zemalja niskog rizika. Od 4. listopada svi cijepljeni putnici koji dolaze iz zemalja niskog rizika moći će se testirati s jeftinim testovima što je svakako puno prihvatljivije od PCR testova koji su punili blagajne privatnih laboratorija.

To znači da turisti za putovanja iz Velike Britanije neće imati dodatne troškove, jer je cijena PCR testa oko 80 eura. Za mene osobno to znači da mi je britanska vlada uštedila 400 EUR samo na PCR testovima. Ono što je još važnije je to što je ta mjera potakla Britance da s radošću na svojim laptopima klikaju opciju “bukiraj sad!” “Nevjerojatno je koliko je ljudi kupilo avionsku kartu za putovanje u listopadu,” čuo sam od jednog britanskog turističkog agenta. Dodajući “Kad bi bilo letova u studenom i prosincu, kroz cijelu godinu, ljudi bi sigurno dolazili u Dubrovnik.”

Zimski turizam

Poznati istraživački novinar (Travel Detective), mnogostruki dobitnik nagrade Emmy, Amerikanac Peter Greenberg jednom mi je prilikom rekao: “Da bi se izgradio zimski turizam, avio-kompanije bi trebale održavati linije cijelu godinu. U protivnom problem prenapučenosti ostaje. Morate odlučiti tko koga sluša – vi aviokompanije ili one vas? I tu je u potpunosti u pravu. Vidimo da ljudi žele putovati u listopadu, čak i u studenom, jasno, u znatno manjem broju nego u kolovozu, ali ipak, interes postoji. Je li nam trebala globalna pandemija kako bismo shvatili da možemo imati i zimski turizam.

Hoće li se nešto promijeniti, sumnjam, jer mi nismo “gospodari” svoje destinacije (ah, ta riječ), već smo taoci avio-kompanija. Kao što sam rekao, ove godine Božić proslavljam u proširenom obiteljskom krugu u Velikoj Britaniji. Za tu priliku unajmili smo veliku kuću koja će nam biti baza. U trenutku kad je kuća (vila) bila bukirana, a to je bilo lani, 70 posto kuća iz tog područja već je bilo iznajmljeno. Zimski turizam na Otoku itekako je živ!

I tako smo nedavno imali još jedno masovno “cijepljenje” odnosno prosvjede takozvanih antivaksera. Radi se samo o drugom načinu dolaska do cilja, o stvaranju imuniteta krda. Svi potrebni elementi su tu: ljudi ne nose maske, nisu cijepljeni, viču iz petnih žila, slina prska na sve strane, a svi su stisnuti kao sardine. To je za virus poput božićnih blagdana. Ili švedskog stola. Ja sam zaista osoba koja podržava pravo na slobodu i podržavam civilna prava čovjeka, ali mi zaista nije jasno što antivakseri žele i protiv čega prosvjeduju?

Prosvjeduju protiv nečega što čak nije obavezno. Ako se ne želiš cijepiti - nemoj, što moraš o tome galamiti na sva zvona? Pretpostavljam da će Hrvatska u jednom trenutku ukloniti sve restrikcije, iako vjerujem da se to neće dogoditi prije dogodine. Moje odredište za predstojeće Božićne blagdane je Velika Britanija, koja je odlučila da je najbolja politika potpuno otvaranje. “Radi se o blažoj verziji švedskog modela,”rekao mi je prijatelj iz Londona.
