"Prije više od deset godina svjedočili smo zadnjem pokušaju pošumljavanja južnih padina Srđa koje su gotovo u cjelosti, izuzev najjužnijeg pojasa uz Jadransku magistralu izgorjele u velikom požaru koji se dogodio 2007.godine. Tada je ta hvale vrijedna inicijativa navodno zbog nemara Grada završila neslavno, jer isti nije izvršio svoje obaveze iz projekta te su autohtone sadnice koje su posađene uz financijsku pomoć jedne njemačke tvrtke na nešto više od jednog hektara površine propale. Zašto od tada nema inicijative po ovom pitanju teško je zaključiti? Osim kada se s vremena na vrijeme poneka stijena sruči na magistralu ili na kuće koje se nalaze u pojasu ispod nje i tako ugrozi one koji tuda prometuju ili žive i tako podsjeti na to da takvih događaja nebi bilo da šuma postoji, ova tema se vrlo rijetko spominje. Zbog čega se odustalo od pošumljavanja Srđa? Jeli u pitanju strah od požara ili nešto posve drugo, može se saznati jedino ukoliko se ova priča ponovno aktualizira, jer ozelenjene padine Srđa su dio gradskog identiteta i uz njih se veže i legenda o nastanku imena našeg Grada, a na samom vrhu se nalazi i tvrđava Imperial koja je simbol slobode i pobjede naših branitelja u Domovinskom ratu.

Dakle, dubrovčani i Srđ su kroz povijest neodvojivo povezani. Svi ćemo se složiti da je Grad s zelenim padinama Srđa činio jednu cjelinu koja je izgledala puno ljepše nego što je to danas. O tome koliko našem urbanistički pregaženom Gradu nedostaje zelenih površina i rekreacijskih zona ne treba govoriti, kao što ne treba posebno naglašavati ni ekološki značaj ove priče. Stoga vjerujem da još uvijek postoji volja i način da se ideja o njegovom pošumljavanju revitalizira i pokrene, bez obzira što je dobar dio južnih padina u državnom i dijelom privatnom vlasništvu, no to je bilo tako i u vremenima kada su padine Srđa bile u cjelosti prekrivene šumom pa je sigurno da njihovi vlasnici nebi imali ništa protiv da se iste ponovno ozelene.

Još tada, prije više od deset godina izrađeni su posebna geodetska podloga za projektiranje šetnice od Križnog puta do naselja Bosanka, idejni projekt šetnice-interventnog protupožarnog puta od naselja Nuncijata do Križnog puta, idejni projekt krajobraznog oblikovanja i uređenja Srđa te je osiguran vodovodni priključak u što je uloženo nešto više od milijun kuna. Vjerujem kako su ozelenjene padine Srđa sa panoramskom šetnicom i vidikovcima nešto što bi svi voljeli vidjeti pa bi bilo lijepo kada bi ova nekad započeta priča ponovno postala predmet javnog zagovaranja u političkom prostoru te stručnim i medijskom krugovima koji mogu dati najveći doprinos njenom pokretanju i realizaciji", stoji u priopćenju Mara Kristića.

"Prije više od deset godina svjedočili smo zadnjem pokušaju pošumljavanja južnih padina Srđa koje su gotovo u cjelosti, izuzev najjužnijeg pojasa uz Jadransku magistralu izgorjele u velikom požaru koji se dogodio 2007.godine. Tada je ta hvale vrijedna inicijativa navodno zbog nemara Grada završila neslavno, jer isti nije izvršio svoje obaveze iz projekta te su autohtone sadnice koje su posađene uz financijsku pomoć jedne njemačke tvrtke na nešto više od jednog hektara površine propale. Zašto od tada nema inicijative po ovom pitanju teško je zaključiti? Osim kada se s vremena na vrijeme poneka stijena sruči na magistralu ili na kuće koje se nalaze u pojasu ispod nje i tako ugrozi one koji tuda prometuju ili žive i tako podsjeti na to da takvih događaja nebi bilo da šuma postoji, ova tema se vrlo rijetko spominje. Zbog čega se odustalo od pošumljavanja Srđa? Jeli u pitanju strah od požara ili nešto posve drugo, može se saznati jedino ukoliko se ova priča ponovno aktualizira, jer ozelenjene padine Srđa su dio gradskog identiteta i uz njih se veže i legenda o nastanku imena našeg Grada, a na samom vrhu se nalazi i tvrđava Imperial koja je simbol slobode i pobjede naših branitelja u Domovinskom ratu.

Dakle, dubrovčani i Srđ su kroz povijest neodvojivo povezani. Svi ćemo se složiti da je Grad s zelenim padinama Srđa činio jednu cjelinu koja je izgledala puno ljepše nego što je to danas. O tome koliko našem urbanistički pregaženom Gradu nedostaje zelenih površina i rekreacijskih zona ne treba govoriti, kao što ne treba posebno naglašavati ni ekološki značaj ove priče. Stoga vjerujem da još uvijek postoji volja i način da se ideja o njegovom pošumljavanju revitalizira i pokrene, bez obzira što je dobar dio južnih padina u državnom i dijelom privatnom vlasništvu, no to je bilo tako i u vremenima kada su padine Srđa bile u cjelosti prekrivene šumom pa je sigurno da njihovi vlasnici nebi imali ništa protiv da se iste ponovno ozelene.

Još tada, prije više od deset godina izrađeni su posebna geodetska podloga za projektiranje šetnice od Križnog puta do naselja Bosanka, idejni projekt šetnice-interventnog protupožarnog puta od naselja Nuncijata do Križnog puta, idejni projekt krajobraznog oblikovanja i uređenja Srđa te je osiguran vodovodni priključak u što je uloženo nešto više od milijun kuna. Vjerujem kako su ozelenjene padine Srđa sa panoramskom šetnicom i vidikovcima nešto što bi svi voljeli vidjeti pa bi bilo lijepo kada bi ova nekad započeta priča ponovno postala predmet javnog zagovaranja u političkom prostoru te stručnim i medijskom krugovima koji mogu dati najveći doprinos njenom pokretanju i realizaciji", stoji u priopćenju Mara Kristića.

Maro Kristić: Zbog čega se odustalo od pošumljavanja Srđa? Urbanistički pregaženom Gradu nedostaje zelenih površina i rekreacijskih zona

"Prije više od deset godina svjedočili smo zadnjem pokušaju pošumljavanja južnih padina Srđa koje su gotovo u cjelosti, izuzev najjužnijeg pojasa uz Jadransku magistralu izgorjele u velikom požaru koji se dogodio 2007.godine. Tada je ta hvale vrijedna inicijativa navodno zbog nemara Grada završila neslavno, jer isti nije izvršio svoje obaveze iz projekta te su autohtone sadnice koje su posađene uz financijsku pomoć jedne njemačke tvrtke na nešto više od jednog hektara površine propale. Zašto od tada nema inicijative po ovom pitanju teško je zaključiti? Osim kada se s vremena na vrijeme poneka stijena sruči na magistralu ili na kuće koje se nalaze u pojasu ispod nje i tako ugrozi one koji tuda prometuju ili žive i tako podsjeti na to da takvih događaja nebi bilo da šuma postoji, ova tema se vrlo rijetko spominje. Zbog čega se odustalo od pošumljavanja Srđa? Jeli u pitanju strah od požara ili nešto posve drugo, može se saznati jedino ukoliko se ova priča ponovno aktualizira, jer ozelenjene padine Srđa su dio gradskog identiteta i uz njih se veže i legenda o nastanku imena našeg Grada, a na samom vrhu se nalazi i tvrđava Imperial koja je simbol slobode i pobjede naših branitelja u Domovinskom ratu.

Dakle, dubrovčani i Srđ su kroz povijest neodvojivo povezani. Svi ćemo se složiti da je Grad s zelenim padinama Srđa činio jednu cjelinu koja je izgledala puno ljepše nego što je to danas. O tome koliko našem urbanistički pregaženom Gradu nedostaje zelenih površina i rekreacijskih zona ne treba govoriti, kao što ne treba posebno naglašavati ni ekološki značaj ove priče. Stoga vjerujem da još uvijek postoji volja i način da se ideja o njegovom pošumljavanju revitalizira i pokrene, bez obzira što je dobar dio južnih padina u državnom i dijelom privatnom vlasništvu, no to je bilo tako i u vremenima kada su padine Srđa bile u cjelosti prekrivene šumom pa je sigurno da njihovi vlasnici nebi imali ništa protiv da se iste ponovno ozelene.

Još tada, prije više od deset godina izrađeni su posebna geodetska podloga za projektiranje šetnice od Križnog puta do naselja Bosanka, idejni projekt šetnice-interventnog protupožarnog puta od naselja Nuncijata do Križnog puta, idejni projekt krajobraznog oblikovanja i uređenja Srđa te je osiguran vodovodni priključak u što je uloženo nešto više od milijun kuna. Vjerujem kako su ozelenjene padine Srđa sa panoramskom šetnicom i vidikovcima nešto što bi svi voljeli vidjeti pa bi bilo lijepo kada bi ova nekad započeta priča ponovno postala predmet javnog zagovaranja u političkom prostoru te stručnim i medijskom krugovima koji mogu dati najveći doprinos njenom pokretanju i realizaciji", stoji u priopćenju Mara Kristića.
