Od 2002. do 2020. godine, u Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji 186 žena oboljelo je od invazivnog raka vrata maternice, od čega je njih 57,5 posto u dobi 40 do 64 godine. U tom je razdoblju zabilježeno 607 novootkrivenih slučajeva raka vrata maternice u lokaliziranom stadiju (in situ), od kojih je sedam otkriveno kod žena u dobi od 15 do 19 godina. Podaci su to Zavoda za javno zdravstvno Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije koji svake godine objavljuje podatke i javno ukazuje na nužnu prevenciju.

Standardizirane stope incidencije od invazivnog raka vrata maternice za dob od 40 do 64 godine, u Hrvatskoj ali i Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji pokazuju uzlazni trend.

Siječanj je mjesec posvećen prevenciji raka vrata maternice u žena. Kroz organizirane programe probira, može se spriječiti do 80 posto slučajeva raka vrata maternice. Osim toga, navode iz Zavoda za javno zdravstvo DNŽ, danas postoji cijepljenje protiv humanog papiloma virusa (HPV) koje je učinkovito u sprječavanju infekcije s dva najčešća kancerogena tipa HPV-a (tip 16 i 18). Upravo u Službi školske medicine ovoga Zavoda, dobrovoljno i besplatno se cijepe učenici i učenice 8. razreda osnovne škole. Cijepi se 9-valentnim cjepivom Gardasil 9.

Brojna istraživanja potvrdila su učinkovitost cjepiva u smanjivanju nastanka spolnih bradavica, predstadija raka i infekcije s HPV 16 i 18 u populaciji cijepljenih djevojaka. U isto vrijeme, istraživanja su pokazala da nema smanjenja bolesti u starijih žena i muškaraca, odnosno osoba koje nisu cijepljene, navode iz Zavoda.

Od 2002. do 2020. godine, u Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji 186 žena oboljelo je od invazivnog raka vrata maternice, od čega je njih 57,5 posto u dobi 40 do 64 godine. U tom je razdoblju zabilježeno 607 novootkrivenih slučajeva raka vrata maternice u lokaliziranom stadiju (in situ), od kojih je sedam otkriveno kod žena u dobi od 15 do 19 godina. Podaci su to Zavoda za javno zdravstvno Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije koji svake godine objavljuje podatke i javno ukazuje na nužnu prevenciju.

Standardizirane stope incidencije od invazivnog raka vrata maternice za dob od 40 do 64 godine, u Hrvatskoj ali i Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji pokazuju uzlazni trend.

Siječanj je mjesec posvećen prevenciji raka vrata maternice u žena. Kroz organizirane programe probira, može se spriječiti do 80 posto slučajeva raka vrata maternice. Osim toga, navode iz Zavoda za javno zdravstvo DNŽ, danas postoji cijepljenje protiv humanog papiloma virusa (HPV) koje je učinkovito u sprječavanju infekcije s dva najčešća kancerogena tipa HPV-a (tip 16 i 18). Upravo u Službi školske medicine ovoga Zavoda, dobrovoljno i besplatno se cijepe učenici i učenice 8. razreda osnovne škole. Cijepi se 9-valentnim cjepivom Gardasil 9.

Brojna istraživanja potvrdila su učinkovitost cjepiva u smanjivanju nastanka spolnih bradavica, predstadija raka i infekcije s HPV 16 i 18 u populaciji cijepljenih djevojaka. U isto vrijeme, istraživanja su pokazala da nema smanjenja bolesti u starijih žena i muškaraca, odnosno osoba koje nisu cijepljene, navode iz Zavoda.
