Na veliko zadovoljstvo publike, na dubrovačku tvrđavu Lovrjenac vraća se najpoznatija svjetska Shakespearova tragedija Romeo i Julija. Jedan od najpoznatijih kazališnih komada za osmu sezonu festivala Midsummer Scene bit će prerežiran te je postavljena nova scenografija, a sama pozornica je sada okrenuta prema padinama Srđa. Mnoštvo emocija vodi nas u svijet u kojem svatko od nas može propitkivati neke svoje životne situacije u ljubavi, propitkivati vlastite osjećaje, a da pritom ne izlazimo oz okvira stvarnosti.

„Veseli nas povratak na Lovrjenac nakon dvije pandemijske godine. Publika je željna dobrih kazališnih komada na jednoj od najljepših svjetskih pozornica. Ove su godine u ansamblu s nama dva Francuza, jedan Hrvat te nekoliko Engleza. Interes za Festival već je sada velik tako da očekujemo uspješnu osmu sezonu!“ – izjavila je producentica Darija Mikulandra Žanetić.

Ambijentalni prostor tvrđave Lovrjenac, koju britanski ansambl naziva i kamenim Globe-om, okružen je zidinama s neodoljivim pogledom na more i savršeno se uklapa u intrigantnu ljubavnu tragediju obavijenu mržnjom obiteljskih zavadi. Talijanske šansone i autentični kostimi odlike su koje će nas provesti kroz jednu od najpoznatijih svađa dviju obitelji u povijesti. Predstavu režira iskusni britanski redatelj Sean Aita, za kostimografiju i scenografiju zaslužna je Maria Vazeou, dok je za dizajn svjetla zadužen poznati hrvatski stručnjak za rasvjetu Aleksandar Mondecar po čijoj se knjizi o rasvjeti uči na akademiji. Kreativni direktor i producent je Hrvat s londonskom adresom Filip Krenus, a izvršne producentice festivala su Dubrovkinje Jelena Maržić i Darija Mikulandra Žanetić.

Osmo izdanje Midsummer Scene Festivala održava se u Dubrovniku od 21. lipnja do 5. srpnja. U sklopu festivala odigrat će se i predstava "A Poor Player"  (Bijedan glumac), monodrama s elementima farse koju su njezini koautori Filip Krenus i Sean Aita podnaslovili kao melankomediju i koja je napisana upravo za Dubrovnik-

Festival nastavlja i izvrsnu suradnju s Kazalištem Marina Držića te će se za vrijeme njegovog trajanja prikazati najnovija uspješna predstava ansambla KMD koju čeka gostovanje na međunarodnim festivalima. Radi se o djelu "Hamlet-evidencija zločina jedne monarhije", adaptacija Tibora Hrs Pandura i Livije Pandur prema tekstu B.M. Koltesa i W. Shakespearea u režiji Livije Pandur.

Midsummer Scene će zatvoriti spektakularni glazbeno scenski projekt Klape Kaše "Millions of Strange Shadows", što je ujedno svjetska praizvedba uglazbljenih Shakespearovih soneta na engleskom jeziku autora Vicka Dragojevića.  

Midsummer Scene je projekt TZ grada Dubrovnika i Grada Dubrovnika, a u produkciji Brilliant Events, Dubrovnik i Honey-tongued Theatre Productions, London.

Na veliko zadovoljstvo publike, na dubrovačku tvrđavu Lovrjenac vraća se najpoznatija svjetska Shakespearova tragedija Romeo i Julija. Jedan od najpoznatijih kazališnih komada za osmu sezonu festivala Midsummer Scene bit će prerežiran te je postavljena nova scenografija, a sama pozornica je sada okrenuta prema padinama Srđa. Mnoštvo emocija vodi nas u svijet u kojem svatko od nas može propitkivati neke svoje životne situacije u ljubavi, propitkivati vlastite osjećaje, a da pritom ne izlazimo oz okvira stvarnosti.

„Veseli nas povratak na Lovrjenac nakon dvije pandemijske godine. Publika je željna dobrih kazališnih komada na jednoj od najljepših svjetskih pozornica. Ove su godine u ansamblu s nama dva Francuza, jedan Hrvat te nekoliko Engleza. Interes za Festival već je sada velik tako da očekujemo uspješnu osmu sezonu!“ – izjavila je producentica Darija Mikulandra Žanetić.

Ambijentalni prostor tvrđave Lovrjenac, koju britanski ansambl naziva i kamenim Globe-om, okružen je zidinama s neodoljivim pogledom na more i savršeno se uklapa u intrigantnu ljubavnu tragediju obavijenu mržnjom obiteljskih zavadi. Talijanske šansone i autentični kostimi odlike su koje će nas provesti kroz jednu od najpoznatijih svađa dviju obitelji u povijesti. Predstavu režira iskusni britanski redatelj Sean Aita, za kostimografiju i scenografiju zaslužna je Maria Vazeou, dok je za dizajn svjetla zadužen poznati hrvatski stručnjak za rasvjetu Aleksandar Mondecar po čijoj se knjizi o rasvjeti uči na akademiji. Kreativni direktor i producent je Hrvat s londonskom adresom Filip Krenus, a izvršne producentice festivala su Dubrovkinje Jelena Maržić i Darija Mikulandra Žanetić.

Osmo izdanje Midsummer Scene Festivala održava se u Dubrovniku od 21. lipnja do 5. srpnja. U sklopu festivala odigrat će se i predstava "A Poor Player"  (Bijedan glumac), monodrama s elementima farse koju su njezini koautori Filip Krenus i Sean Aita podnaslovili kao melankomediju i koja je napisana upravo za Dubrovnik-

Festival nastavlja i izvrsnu suradnju s Kazalištem Marina Držića te će se za vrijeme njegovog trajanja prikazati najnovija uspješna predstava ansambla KMD koju čeka gostovanje na međunarodnim festivalima. Radi se o djelu "Hamlet-evidencija zločina jedne monarhije", adaptacija Tibora Hrs Pandura i Livije Pandur prema tekstu B.M. Koltesa i W. Shakespearea u režiji Livije Pandur.

Midsummer Scene će zatvoriti spektakularni glazbeno scenski projekt Klape Kaše "Millions of Strange Shadows", što je ujedno svjetska praizvedba uglazbljenih Shakespearovih soneta na engleskom jeziku autora Vicka Dragojevića.  

Midsummer Scene je projekt TZ grada Dubrovnika i Grada Dubrovnika, a u produkciji Brilliant Events, Dubrovnik i Honey-tongued Theatre Productions, London.

Romeo i Julija u novom ruhu vraćaju se na Lovrijenac

Na veliko zadovoljstvo publike, na dubrovačku tvrđavu Lovrjenac vraća se najpoznatija svjetska Shakespearova tragedija Romeo i Julija. Jedan od najpoznatijih kazališnih komada za osmu sezonu festivala Midsummer Scene bit će prerežiran te je postavljena nova scenografija, a sama pozornica je sada okrenuta prema padinama Srđa. Mnoštvo emocija vodi nas u svijet u kojem svatko od nas može propitkivati neke svoje životne situacije u ljubavi, propitkivati vlastite osjećaje, a da pritom ne izlazimo oz okvira stvarnosti.

„Veseli nas povratak na Lovrjenac nakon dvije pandemijske godine. Publika je željna dobrih kazališnih komada na jednoj od najljepših svjetskih pozornica. Ove su godine u ansamblu s nama dva Francuza, jedan Hrvat te nekoliko Engleza. Interes za Festival već je sada velik tako da očekujemo uspješnu osmu sezonu!“ – izjavila je producentica Darija Mikulandra Žanetić.

Ambijentalni prostor tvrđave Lovrjenac, koju britanski ansambl naziva i kamenim Globe-om, okružen je zidinama s neodoljivim pogledom na more i savršeno se uklapa u intrigantnu ljubavnu tragediju obavijenu mržnjom obiteljskih zavadi. Talijanske šansone i autentični kostimi odlike su koje će nas provesti kroz jednu od najpoznatijih svađa dviju obitelji u povijesti. Predstavu režira iskusni britanski redatelj Sean Aita, za kostimografiju i scenografiju zaslužna je Maria Vazeou, dok je za dizajn svjetla zadužen poznati hrvatski stručnjak za rasvjetu Aleksandar Mondecar po čijoj se knjizi o rasvjeti uči na akademiji. Kreativni direktor i producent je Hrvat s londonskom adresom Filip Krenus, a izvršne producentice festivala su Dubrovkinje Jelena Maržić i Darija Mikulandra Žanetić.

Osmo izdanje Midsummer Scene Festivala održava se u Dubrovniku od 21. lipnja do 5. srpnja. U sklopu festivala odigrat će se i predstava "A Poor Player"  (Bijedan glumac), monodrama s elementima farse koju su njezini koautori Filip Krenus i Sean Aita podnaslovili kao melankomediju i koja je napisana upravo za Dubrovnik-

Festival nastavlja i izvrsnu suradnju s Kazalištem Marina Držića te će se za vrijeme njegovog trajanja prikazati najnovija uspješna predstava ansambla KMD koju čeka gostovanje na međunarodnim festivalima. Radi se o djelu "Hamlet-evidencija zločina jedne monarhije", adaptacija Tibora Hrs Pandura i Livije Pandur prema tekstu B.M. Koltesa i W. Shakespearea u režiji Livije Pandur.

Midsummer Scene će zatvoriti spektakularni glazbeno scenski projekt Klape Kaše "Millions of Strange Shadows", što je ujedno svjetska praizvedba uglazbljenih Shakespearovih soneta na engleskom jeziku autora Vicka Dragojevića.  

Midsummer Scene je projekt TZ grada Dubrovnika i Grada Dubrovnika, a u produkciji Brilliant Events, Dubrovnik i Honey-tongued Theatre Productions, London.
