Prvo je simbol inflacije bio nenormalno skup WC papir, onda jaja koja su u Hrvatskoj poskupila više nego igdje drugdje: ali sada čini se imamo novi: najobičniji crveni luk. Suze nam više ne idu samo kad ga režemo nego i kad ga kupujemo: jer luk je poskupio čak 73% u 6 mjeseci.

Podaci zavoda za statistiku kažu da je poskupilo sve: kelj, mrkva, špek i mortadela: ali ništa kao luk. Ekipu RTL-a to je toliko zainteresiralo, da su morali saznati zašto

Crven, bijel ili ljubičast, tisućama godina luk je nezaobilazni dodatak gotovo svim jelima. Ima ga svaka kuhinja i nikad nije bio značajna stavka u kućnom budžetu. To se polako mijenja.

Glavica luka i u normalnim okolnostima mami suze u očima, no sada kada je luk skuplji čak i od egzotičnih banana, ljudi plaču ne samo zbog okusa već i cijene. U godinu dana poskupio je za tri četvrtine, vrtoglavih 73%.

Kako je luk došao do gotovo dva eura po kilogramu, objašnjenje tražimo na zagrebačkoj tržnici Dolac. Matematika prodavača jasna, sve je otišlo gore, morao je, tvrde, i luk….

"Treba puno uložiti, sve je poskupjelo. Gnojiva, voda, mi zalijevamo. Sve je otišlo gore. Duplo sadnice su otišle gore, sjeme. O tome se radi, zato je cijena otišla gore", kaže vlasnica OPG-a Mirjana Hlebić.

Proizvodnja prepolovljena

Cijenama na ruku nisu išle ni vremenske prilike. U nekim dijelovima Hrvatske proizvodnja je prepolovljena.

"Takva godina je. Takva godina. I trešnja isto nije rodila ko i luk. I nešto zato je malo skuplji nego inače što je bio", govori prodavač na zagrebačkoj tržnici Dolac Ivica Šušković.

Nije ovo jedino povrće koje je doživjelo značajan skok. Uz luk koji je skuplji za 73%, kelj je otišao gore 63%, mrkva 40, a paprika 39 posto.

"Nemam riječi, evo nemam riječi. Kila krumpira je 2 eura. Pa to je prežalosno", kaže Stana iz Zagreba.

"U Hrvatskoj imate milijune neobrađene zemlje, nitko ne želi raditi. Prema tome, tu smo gdje smo", govori Vlado iz Zagreba.

"Iste su vam cijene, čak možda ima i nešto skuplje ako želite istinu da kažem. I prema dućanima i prema placu", kaže Edita iz Bruxellesa.

Jeftinije vani

Da su na puno bogatoj zapadnoj Europi neke stvari jeftinije, potvrđuje nam i mladi novinar Damijan koji studira i živi u Nizozemskoj. U zemlji u kojoj su plaće znatno veće, kila crvenog luka je osjetno jeftinija nego u Hrvatskoj. Ipak i tamo se osjeti inflacija.

"Svakako se osjetio porast cijena naime po zadnjim nekakvih statističkim podacima državnog zavoda za statistiku u Nizozemskoj od zadnjeg mjeseca ispada da su hrana i piće porasli za preko 12 posto. Ako sada odlučim kupiti kilu bijelog luka u dućan to je 2,30, dok je recimo kila crvenog 1,50", govori Hrvat u Nizozemskoj Damijan Jevtović.

Rastu cijene, ali ne zbog pohlepe objašnjavaju poljoprivrednici. Već drugu godinu zaredom, cijenu i količinu proizvedenog povrća diktiraju klimatske promjene.

"Ova godina će biti posebno izazovna jer su se dogodile mnoge neprilike u samoj proizvodnji. Prvenstveno mislim na vremenske neprilike uslijed prekomjernih padalina, tuče i poplave koje su nas zadesile kroz peti mjesec. Glavice luke propale od kiše", kaže vlasnik OPG-a Marijan Balić.

Nema tko raditi

Cijenu formira i nedostatak radnika na zemlji. Sve u svemu, ne piše nam se dobro, povratak na staro nije izgledan.

"Potrošači se jednostavno moraju naviknuti na više cijene poljoprivrednih proizvoda, posebice crvenog luka i češnjaka", govori Balić.

Nisu to dobre vijesti za ljubitelje luka, ali i njegovih derivata.

"Ja mislim da ću trošiti isto, ali neko neće", kaže Zoran iz Zagreba.

Kako je njegov manjak u šalšama ozbiljan gastro problem, svi se nadaju da će se cijena luka ipak s vremenom opet početi padati.

Prvo je simbol inflacije bio nenormalno skup WC papir, onda jaja koja su u Hrvatskoj poskupila više nego igdje drugdje: ali sada čini se imamo novi: najobičniji crveni luk. Suze nam više ne idu samo kad ga režemo nego i kad ga kupujemo: jer luk je poskupio čak 73% u 6 mjeseci.

Podaci zavoda za statistiku kažu da je poskupilo sve: kelj, mrkva, špek i mortadela: ali ništa kao luk. Ekipu RTL-a to je toliko zainteresiralo, da su morali saznati zašto

Crven, bijel ili ljubičast, tisućama godina luk je nezaobilazni dodatak gotovo svim jelima. Ima ga svaka kuhinja i nikad nije bio značajna stavka u kućnom budžetu. To se polako mijenja.

Glavica luka i u normalnim okolnostima mami suze u očima, no sada kada je luk skuplji čak i od egzotičnih banana, ljudi plaču ne samo zbog okusa već i cijene. U godinu dana poskupio je za tri četvrtine, vrtoglavih 73%.

Kako je luk došao do gotovo dva eura po kilogramu, objašnjenje tražimo na zagrebačkoj tržnici Dolac. Matematika prodavača jasna, sve je otišlo gore, morao je, tvrde, i luk….

"Treba puno uložiti, sve je poskupjelo. Gnojiva, voda, mi zalijevamo. Sve je otišlo gore. Duplo sadnice su otišle gore, sjeme. O tome se radi, zato je cijena otišla gore", kaže vlasnica OPG-a Mirjana Hlebić.

Proizvodnja prepolovljena

Cijenama na ruku nisu išle ni vremenske prilike. U nekim dijelovima Hrvatske proizvodnja je prepolovljena.

"Takva godina je. Takva godina. I trešnja isto nije rodila ko i luk. I nešto zato je malo skuplji nego inače što je bio", govori prodavač na zagrebačkoj tržnici Dolac Ivica Šušković.

Nije ovo jedino povrće koje je doživjelo značajan skok. Uz luk koji je skuplji za 73%, kelj je otišao gore 63%, mrkva 40, a paprika 39 posto.

"Nemam riječi, evo nemam riječi. Kila krumpira je 2 eura. Pa to je prežalosno", kaže Stana iz Zagreba.

"U Hrvatskoj imate milijune neobrađene zemlje, nitko ne želi raditi. Prema tome, tu smo gdje smo", govori Vlado iz Zagreba.

"Iste su vam cijene, čak možda ima i nešto skuplje ako želite istinu da kažem. I prema dućanima i prema placu", kaže Edita iz Bruxellesa.

Jeftinije vani

Da su na puno bogatoj zapadnoj Europi neke stvari jeftinije, potvrđuje nam i mladi novinar Damijan koji studira i živi u Nizozemskoj. U zemlji u kojoj su plaće znatno veće, kila crvenog luka je osjetno jeftinija nego u Hrvatskoj. Ipak i tamo se osjeti inflacija.

"Svakako se osjetio porast cijena naime po zadnjim nekakvih statističkim podacima državnog zavoda za statistiku u Nizozemskoj od zadnjeg mjeseca ispada da su hrana i piće porasli za preko 12 posto. Ako sada odlučim kupiti kilu bijelog luka u dućan to je 2,30, dok je recimo kila crvenog 1,50", govori Hrvat u Nizozemskoj Damijan Jevtović.

Rastu cijene, ali ne zbog pohlepe objašnjavaju poljoprivrednici. Već drugu godinu zaredom, cijenu i količinu proizvedenog povrća diktiraju klimatske promjene.

"Ova godina će biti posebno izazovna jer su se dogodile mnoge neprilike u samoj proizvodnji. Prvenstveno mislim na vremenske neprilike uslijed prekomjernih padalina, tuče i poplave koje su nas zadesile kroz peti mjesec. Glavice luke propale od kiše", kaže vlasnik OPG-a Marijan Balić.

Nema tko raditi

Cijenu formira i nedostatak radnika na zemlji. Sve u svemu, ne piše nam se dobro, povratak na staro nije izgledan.

"Potrošači se jednostavno moraju naviknuti na više cijene poljoprivrednih proizvoda, posebice crvenog luka i češnjaka", govori Balić.

Nisu to dobre vijesti za ljubitelje luka, ali i njegovih derivata.

"Ja mislim da ću trošiti isto, ali neko neće", kaže Zoran iz Zagreba.

Kako je njegov manjak u šalšama ozbiljan gastro problem, svi se nadaju da će se cijena luka ipak s vremenom opet početi padati.
