U svom prvom susretu na prvenstvu Europe u Poljskoj košarkašice Hrvatske katastrofalno su poražene od braniteljica naslova Francuske.

Loš start u susret sastava izbornika Stipe Bralića usmjerio je susret na mlin Francuskinja. Velika nervoza u redovima Hrvatica rezultirala je vodstvom Francuske 11:0 nakon samo tri minute susreta.

Ubrzo je bilo i 21:3, a tek pri tom rezultatu nakon više od sedam minuta Hrvatice su postigle prvi koš iz igre, tricu je zabila Ciglar. Potom su se Hrvatice malo konsolidirale do kraja prve četvrtine no to je bio jedini svijetli period u njihovoj igri. U drugoj dionici su opet nastavile s nizom pogrešaka pa je dvije minute prije odmora već bilo velikih 46:22.

Potop je nastavljen i u drugom poluvremenu. Kuriozitet je da nijedna košarkašica Hrvatske nije postigla dvoznamenkasti broj koševa.

U drugom susretu skupine D (tri ekipe idu dalje iz svake skupine) Grčka je svladala Latviju 67:57. Danas u 15 sati Hrvatska igra u istoj dvorani protiv Grčke (prijenos HTV2).

Hrvatska: Mandir (9), Karcic, Mišura (2), Čakić (2), Lokas, Mazić (1), Ciglar (8), Lelas (3), Slišković (7), Pavetić (5), Ivanković (1), Ivezić (2).

U svom prvom susretu na prvenstvu Europe u Poljskoj košarkašice Hrvatske katastrofalno su poražene od braniteljica naslova Francuske.

Loš start u susret sastava izbornika Stipe Bralića usmjerio je susret na mlin Francuskinja. Velika nervoza u redovima Hrvatica rezultirala je vodstvom Francuske 11:0 nakon samo tri minute susreta.

Ubrzo je bilo i 21:3, a tek pri tom rezultatu nakon više od sedam minuta Hrvatice su postigle prvi koš iz igre, tricu je zabila Ciglar. Potom su se Hrvatice malo konsolidirale do kraja prve četvrtine no to je bio jedini svijetli period u njihovoj igri. U drugoj dionici su opet nastavile s nizom pogrešaka pa je dvije minute prije odmora već bilo velikih 46:22.

Potop je nastavljen i u drugom poluvremenu. Kuriozitet je da nijedna košarkašica Hrvatske nije postigla dvoznamenkasti broj koševa.

U drugom susretu skupine D (tri ekipe idu dalje iz svake skupine) Grčka je svladala Latviju 67:57. Danas u 15 sati Hrvatska igra u istoj dvorani protiv Grčke (prijenos HTV2).
