Rijeka je u 32. kolu SuperSport HNL-a gostovala kod Lokomotive u Kranjčevićevoj i kiksala u borbi za naslov prvaka. Domaćin je slavio s 3:1 i tako Rijeku ostavio na jedan bod iza Dinama uoči njihovog međusobnog susreta na Rujevici u nedjelju u 19:30. Trener Rijeke Željko Sopić je gostovao u emisiji Pod stijenama Kantride na Hrvatskom radiju i osvrnuo se na poraz od Lokomotive i stanje u momčadi, pišu Sportske novosti.

- Nikad nije dobro da niz pobjeda pukne i da izgubiš, ali s druge strane, sport je specifičan i to je isto njegov dio. Naporno trenirate, ali uvijek se može dogoditi. Mogli smo izgubiti i prije, negdje smo imali više sreće, negdje manje, a u nedjelju smo imali problema tamo gdje smo najjači, u prekidima. Dva puta nam padne lopta u šesnaesterac, a poanta je kod prekida da lopta ne smije pasti. Čim padne, šanse su 50:50 kome će se odbiti. Dva puta je Mudražija stajao u zaleđu, dva puta mu je došla lopta. Prvi je put bilo zaleđe, drugi put mu je lopta došla od Pjace jer nismo očistili. I dođeš u svlačionicu, gubiš 2:0 i sliježeš ramenima - rekao je Sopić.

Dinamo je sada preuzeo prvo mjesto.

- Imao sam u ponedjeljak ujutro kratki sastanak od pet minuta s igračima. Rekao sam im: ‘Gledajte, sami smo se doveli u situaciju da se priča o vama‘. Imamo sve u rukama i da nam je netko to ponudio prije prvenstva, prihvatili bismo objeručke. Cijela Hrvatska je bila sigurna da ćemo izgubiti. Evo, gospodo, izgubili smo, a i dalje imamo sve u svojim rukama - rekao je Sopić pa dodao:

- Kad sedam utakmica ne primiš gol pa dobiješ dva iz dva prekida, samopouzdanje pada. Zamjene su unijele život, zabili smo, krenuli po drugi gol pa iz greške primili treći. Svejedno je izgubili 2:1 ili 3:1. Dobro, nije baš isto izgubiti 5:1, ali ajde... Ni bod ne bi bio za baciti. Ujutro su me u klubu svi dočekali smrknuti pa si mislim: ‘Ljudi, nemojte da ja, kao Zagrepčanin, budem veći optimist od vas Riječana!‘ I Arsenal i Liverpool imaju padove. To je bila takva utakmica. Lokomotiva je pobijedila, idemo dalje. Nema potrebe za prevelikima stresom.

Bez obzira na poraz, na benzinskoj se opet stajalo.

- Je, počastio sam dečke na benzinskoj kad smo se vraćali. Sjećam se kad su nas nakon zimske pauze čekali dva puta Gorica, Poljud, Dinamo... Gledajući raspored, nitko nam nije davao ni najmanju šansu. Sami smo se, igrači, stožer i ljudi u klubu, izborili da imamo priliku nakon derbija na Rujevici skočiti na prvo mjesto i realne šanse da sanjamo zadnje tri utakmice da postanemo prvaci. To je velik uspjeh, a ovaj smo poraz brzo stavili iza sebe. Treba samo analizirati probleme i igračima podići samopouzdanje - zaključio je Sopić.

Rijeka je u 32. kolu SuperSport HNL-a gostovala kod Lokomotive u Kranjčevićevoj i kiksala u borbi za naslov prvaka. Domaćin je slavio s 3:1 i tako Rijeku ostavio na jedan bod iza Dinama uoči njihovog međusobnog susreta na Rujevici u nedjelju u 19:30. Trener Rijeke Željko Sopić je gostovao u emisiji Pod stijenama Kantride na Hrvatskom radiju i osvrnuo se na poraz od Lokomotive i stanje u momčadi, pišu Sportske novosti.

- Nikad nije dobro da niz pobjeda pukne i da izgubiš, ali s druge strane, sport je specifičan i to je isto njegov dio. Naporno trenirate, ali uvijek se može dogoditi. Mogli smo izgubiti i prije, negdje smo imali više sreće, negdje manje, a u nedjelju smo imali problema tamo gdje smo najjači, u prekidima. Dva puta nam padne lopta u šesnaesterac, a poanta je kod prekida da lopta ne smije pasti. Čim padne, šanse su 50:50 kome će se odbiti. Dva puta je Mudražija stajao u zaleđu, dva puta mu je došla lopta. Prvi je put bilo zaleđe, drugi put mu je lopta došla od Pjace jer nismo očistili. I dođeš u svlačionicu, gubiš 2:0 i sliježeš ramenima - rekao je Sopić.

Dinamo je sada preuzeo prvo mjesto.

- Imao sam u ponedjeljak ujutro kratki sastanak od pet minuta s igračima. Rekao sam im: ‘Gledajte, sami smo se doveli u situaciju da se priča o vama‘. Imamo sve u rukama i da nam je netko to ponudio prije prvenstva, prihvatili bismo objeručke. Cijela Hrvatska je bila sigurna da ćemo izgubiti. Evo, gospodo, izgubili smo, a i dalje imamo sve u svojim rukama - rekao je Sopić pa dodao:

- Kad sedam utakmica ne primiš gol pa dobiješ dva iz dva prekida, samopouzdanje pada. Zamjene su unijele život, zabili smo, krenuli po drugi gol pa iz greške primili treći. Svejedno je izgubili 2:1 ili 3:1. Dobro, nije baš isto izgubiti 5:1, ali ajde... Ni bod ne bi bio za baciti. Ujutro su me u klubu svi dočekali smrknuti pa si mislim: ‘Ljudi, nemojte da ja, kao Zagrepčanin, budem veći optimist od vas Riječana!‘ I Arsenal i Liverpool imaju padove. To je bila takva utakmica. Lokomotiva je pobijedila, idemo dalje. Nema potrebe za prevelikima stresom.

Bez obzira na poraz, na benzinskoj se opet stajalo.

- Je, počastio sam dečke na benzinskoj kad smo se vraćali. Sjećam se kad su nas nakon zimske pauze čekali dva puta Gorica, Poljud, Dinamo... Gledajući raspored, nitko nam nije davao ni najmanju šansu. Sami smo se, igrači, stožer i ljudi u klubu, izborili da imamo priliku nakon derbija na Rujevici skočiti na prvo mjesto i realne šanse da sanjamo zadnje tri utakmice da postanemo prvaci. To je velik uspjeh, a ovaj smo poraz brzo stavili iza sebe. Treba samo analizirati probleme i igračima podići samopouzdanje - zaključio je Sopić.

Rijeka je u 32. kolu SuperSport HNL-a gostovala kod Lokomotive u Kranjčevićevoj i kiksala u borbi za naslov prvaka. Domaćin je slavio s 3:1 i tako Rijeku ostavio na jedan bod iza Dinama uoči njihovog međusobnog susreta na Rujevici u nedjelju u 19:30. Trener Rijeke Željko Sopić je gostovao u emisiji Pod stijenama Kantride na Hrvatskom radiju i osvrnuo se na poraz od Lokomotive i stanje u momčadi, pišu Sportske novosti.

- Nikad nije dobro da niz pobjeda pukne i da izgubiš, ali s druge strane, sport je specifičan i to je isto njegov dio. Naporno trenirate, ali uvijek se može dogoditi. Mogli smo izgubiti i prije, negdje smo imali više sreće, negdje manje, a u nedjelju smo imali problema tamo gdje smo najjači, u prekidima. Dva puta nam padne lopta u šesnaesterac, a poanta je kod prekida da lopta ne smije pasti. Čim padne, šanse su 50:50 kome će se odbiti. Dva puta je Mudražija stajao u zaleđu, dva puta mu je došla lopta. Prvi je put bilo zaleđe, drugi put mu je lopta došla od Pjace jer nismo očistili. I dođeš u svlačionicu, gubiš 2:0 i sliježeš ramenima - rekao je Sopić.

Dinamo je sada preuzeo prvo mjesto.
