Simon Stiell, šef UN-a za klimu, prije nekoliko dana objavio je da imamo još samo ‘dvije godine da spasimo svijet‘ od nadolazeće prijetnje klimatskih promjena - osim ako ne napravimo neke radikalne promjene. A jedan od najbržih i najučinkovitijih načina da smanjimo emisije stakleničkih plinova i damo sebi priliku u borbi protiv globalnog zatopljenja jest prelazak na sustav obnovljive energije, piše uniladtech.com, navodeći kako je ohrabrujuće to što sedam zemalja diljem svijeta sada gotovo svu svoju električnu energiju proizvodi iz obnovljivih izvora energije.

To proizlazi, navodi se, iz novih podataka koje su prikupile Međunarodna agencija za energiju (IEA) i Međunarodna agencija za obnovljivu energiju (IRENA).

A među tih sedam zemalja zemalja koje proizvode više od 99,7 posto svoje električne energije iz geotermalne, hidro, solarne ili vjetroelektrane na prvome mjestu je Albanija; ona 100 posto energije dobiva iz OIE, i to gotovo posve (99.54) iz hidroelektrana (no s obzirom na tako golem postotak ovisnosti o jednom izvoru obnovljive energije, koji je pritom podložan riziku od suša, Albanija je istovremeno u osjetljivoj poziciji). Slijede Butan, Nepal, Paragvaj, Island, Etiopija i Demokratska Republika Kongo.

Utvrđeno je da je još 40 zemalja proizvodilo najmanje 50 posto svoje električne energije iz tehnologija obnovljivih izvora energije u 2021. i 2022. godini, uključujući 11 europskih zemalja.

Profesor sa Sveučilišta Stanford, Mark Jacobson, koji je analizirao podatke, rekao je: ‘Ne trebaju nam čudesne tehnologije. Moramo zaustaviti emisije elektrifikacijom svega i opskrbom električnom energijom pomoću vjetra, vode i sunca (WWS), što uključuje kopneni vjetar, solarnu fotonaponsku energiju, koncentriranu solarnu energiju, geotermalnu energiju, male i velike hidroelektrane.‘

Profesor Jacobson također je primijetio da su druge zemlje poput Njemačke pokazale sposobnost korištenja 100% električne energije proizvedene iz obnovljivih izvora za kratka razdoblja.

Gledajući Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo, 41,5 posto njegove električne energije proizvedeno je iz obnovljivih izvora u 2022., što je 10,5 posto više u odnosu na prethodnu godinu.

Znanstvenici sa Sveučilišta Exeter i University College London primijetili su da su ukupni komercijalni troškovi "neizmjerno smanjeni". S druge strane, vjeruju da je solarna energija dosegla ‘nepovratnu prekretnicu‘ što znači da će vjerojatno postati primarni izvor energije na svijetu do 2050. godine.

‘Solarna energija je najrasprostranjeniji energetski resurs na Zemlji, a njegova ekonomska privlačnost brzo se poboljšava u ciklusu sve većih ulaganja.‘

Simon Stiell, šef UN-a za klimu, prije nekoliko dana objavio je da imamo još samo ‘dvije godine da spasimo svijet‘ od nadolazeće prijetnje klimatskih promjena - osim ako ne napravimo neke radikalne promjene. A jedan od najbržih i najučinkovitijih načina da smanjimo emisije stakleničkih plinova i damo sebi priliku u borbi protiv globalnog zatopljenja jest prelazak na sustav obnovljive energije, piše uniladtech.com, navodeći kako je ohrabrujuće to što sedam zemalja diljem svijeta sada gotovo svu svoju električnu energiju proizvodi iz obnovljivih izvora energije.

To proizlazi, navodi se, iz novih podataka koje su prikupile Međunarodna agencija za energiju (IEA) i Međunarodna agencija za obnovljivu energiju (IRENA).

A među tih sedam zemalja zemalja koje proizvode više od 99,7 posto svoje električne energije iz geotermalne, hidro, solarne ili vjetroelektrane na prvome mjestu je Albanija; ona 100 posto energije dobiva iz OIE, i to gotovo posve (99.54) iz hidroelektrana (no s obzirom na tako golem postotak ovisnosti o jednom izvoru obnovljive energije, koji je pritom podložan riziku od suša, Albanija je istovremeno u osjetljivoj poziciji). Slijede Butan, Nepal, Paragvaj, Island, Etiopija i Demokratska Republika Kongo.

Utvrđeno je da je još 40 zemalja proizvodilo najmanje 50 posto svoje električne energije iz tehnologija obnovljivih izvora energije u 2021. i 2022. godini, uključujući 11 europskih zemalja.

Profesor sa Sveučilišta Stanford, Mark Jacobson, koji je analizirao podatke, rekao je: ‘Ne trebaju nam čudesne tehnologije. Moramo zaustaviti emisije elektrifikacijom svega i opskrbom električnom energijom pomoću vjetra, vode i sunca (WWS), što uključuje kopneni vjetar, solarnu fotonaponsku energiju, koncentriranu solarnu energiju, geotermalnu energiju, male i velike hidroelektrane.‘

Profesor Jacobson također je primijetio da su druge zemlje poput Njemačke pokazale sposobnost korištenja 100% električne energije proizvedene iz obnovljivih izvora za kratka razdoblja.

Gledajući Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo, 41,5 posto njegove električne energije proizvedeno je iz obnovljivih izvora u 2022., što je 10,5 posto više u odnosu na prethodnu godinu.

Znanstvenici sa Sveučilišta Exeter i University College London primijetili su da su ukupni komercijalni troškovi "neizmjerno smanjeni". S druge strane, vjeruju da je solarna energija dosegla ‘nepovratnu prekretnicu‘ što znači da će vjerojatno postati primarni izvor energije na svijetu do 2050. godine.

‘Solarna energija je najrasprostranjeniji energetski resurs na Zemlji, a njegova ekonomska privlačnost brzo se poboljšava u ciklusu sve većih ulaganja.‘
